Bridget Marquardt is best known for her role on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door, as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. Maarquardt has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, and has graced the pages of several of her ex-boyfriend’s world-famous magazine, Playboy.
Marquardt recently took to Twitter and Instagram to pay tribute the late Hugh Hefner, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 91. “So sad but forever grateful for all the wonderful memories and amazing experiences #RIPHef #Playboy.”
Bridget has appeared in films such as The House Bunny, Scary Movie 4, Intolerable Cruelty, and Tomorrow’s Yesterday. She has also made guest appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, WWE Monday Night Raw, General Hospital, Celebrity Ghost Stories, and much more.
She starred in the E! network’s The Girls Next Door reality series from 2005 to 2010. After the show ended, she was granted her own show on the Travel Channel, called Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. Unfortunately that she only lasted one season.
Her birth name is actually Bridget Christina Sandmeier. She was born on September 25, 1973, in Tillamook, Oregon. The 44-year-old actress and model is college-educated as well. She’s earned herself an associate’s degree, as well as both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications.
