Esports Now Game News: Updates & Must-See Details – 09/21/17

Welcome to another exciting edition of Esports Now Game News! It appears that the world of Esports is expanding to the realm of Fifa soccer games. Fifa 18 will have actually have Esports jerseys in the ultimate team game mode. Meanwhile, two new characters have been added to Heroes of the Storm.

Here’s a rundown of the latest, eye-poppin’ Esports news…

Esports Jerseys in Fifa 18

Yes, you heard that right. In the ultimate team game mode, they’ll be home/away jerseys available for a select few Esports teams. Here are the Esports teams that will have their names represented in Fifa 18 via special jersey: Hashtag United, Team Vitality, Team Liquid, and AS Roma Sports.

Fifa 18 hits shelves on September 29, 2017.

Two New Characters Added To Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is being flooded with Overwatch characters. Last week, it was announced that the characters Ana and Junkrat have been added to the game. Ana is playable in the teaser today.

Who is Ana? She’s a support sniper, who is heavily skill-shot based. She snipes enemies to poison them, and snipes allies to heal them. Ana also comes equip with a healing grenade to assist a group of allies. This character also has a sleep dart to dispatch of enemies in a nonlethal manner. She can use her sniping abilities to heal her allies and damage the enemy.

A new Overwatch-themed map will also be added to Heroes of the Storm.
