Boxing great Jake LaMotta passed away on Wednesday at the age of 93. He’s best known for the film Raging Bull, where Robert DeNiro plays the role of Jake LaMotta, showing the underbelly of a boxing legend. LaMotta had a career of ups and downs, he’s a former World Middleweight Champion, with a record of 83-19 in 106 professional fights. He was also a stand-up comedian while retired from boxing.
LaMotta was able to absorb a tremendous amount of punishment throughout his career, with his thick skull and tough jaw muscles.
