FIFA 18 Gameplay:
EA Sports has done a lot of retooling and reworking to make sure that this iteration of FIFA 18 stands on par with their already existing highly rated game series. Gameplay features like dribbling and player movements/interactions have been highly upgraded to make them as real and lifelike as possible. Also, the developers have re-imagined the already praised career mode, The Journey, by creating its sequel, The Journey: Hunter Returns.
Following the story of Alex Hunter from the previous career mode, The Journey, “Hunter Returns” brings the lovable hero to the global stage of world soccer. Meeting players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann, players can take Alex across the globe playing for different teams and signing new partnerships. The world becomes your stage in “The Journey: Hunter Returns”.
Utilizing the power of EA’s Frostbite engine, FIFA 18 will push the graphical boundaries of the series. With improved facial and body animations, players look more realistic and true to their real life counterparts. Stadiums have also received a crazy upgrade as crowds will no longer do the same movements and cheers bringing more life to your craziest matches.
Also releasing on September 29th will be FIFA 18 for Nintendo Switch which brings the acclaimed soccer series to handheld consoles without any (major) sacrifices. This special build of the game, designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, does not feature The Journey career mode but does feature: Ultimate Team, online play and modes built for the Switch. Also, EA Sports designed a mode allowing for one joycon play, allowing for extremely easy “pick up and play” matches with friends!
