There are reports of an active shooter at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
According to law enforcement, police officers were sent to the hospital. The Dartmouth campus in Lebanon is on lockdown and a shelter in place order has been issued.
Reports indicate that employees recieved an email from the hospital about a “code silver,” telling them to get out if they are able but to otherwise to shelter in place.

Police say they are investigating reports of an active shooter at New Hampshire’s largest hospital. Lebanon police said Tuesday they are investigating reports of a shooter at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Police asked people to avoid the area of the hospital.
A spokesman for the hospital, Mike Barwell, would only say they have reported “an incident” to the police and officers are responding. No further information was available.
An employee told WCAX News that all workers received an email from the hospital about a “code silver,” telling them to get out if possible and otherwise to shelter in place. The employee tells us parts of the hospital are locked down and rooms are barricaded.
New Hampshire State Police have not released a statement about the incident yet. Local Lebanon Police requested that civilians avoid the area of the hospital.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office is currently investigating.
