ESPN reporter Julie Stewart-Binks has been hired as Barstool Sports first full-time female talent.
Stewart-Binks, born April 30, 1987, is a Canadian television anchor and sports reporter for ESPN and Fox Sports West before joining Barstool Sports.
Born in Toronto, Stewart-Binks attended Havergal College and graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a couple of undergraduate degrees. She also graduated from City University in London where she received her master’s degree in international broadcast journalism.
In 2010, Stewart-Binks was hired as a program assistant at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and as a reporter for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Then in 2011, Stewart-Binks was hired to the anchor desk by FOX Soccer Channel’s flagship program. After two years on the FOX Soccer Channel, Stewart-Binks was hired by FOX Sports 1 in June 2013, eventually becoming Fox’s regular sideline reporter for their MLS matches.
In December 2016, Stewart-Binks was hired by ESPN as a sideline reporter for MLS and U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team games. On September 12, 2017, the announcement that Stewart-Binks would be joining Barstool Sports was made.
