Pregame
One major variable to this game is Odell Beckham Jr. health. It would be detrimental to the New York Giants if one of the top receivers in the league will not suit up for your team. However, with Brandon Marshall enhancing the offense, Eli Manning still have a viable target to hit during the game. One major help to the New York Giants is their defense. Last year after early struggles, the defense soon emerged as one of the top defenses in the league. Returning most of their starting players, they will look to be a force that the Dallas Cowboys will have to reckon with.
The Dallas Cowboys are elite, and everyone recognizes it. After winning the NFC East last year, the team looks to repeat and push for a playoff victory. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot are still at the top of their games. Along with this, the previous rookie season jitters are no longer with them and they walk into their second year in the NFL. Still being one of the elite offenses in the league, the Dallas Cowboys are known for scoring points in bunches. Elliot is also assisted with he top offensive line in the league to form gaps to be able to run.
All in all, this will be a great matchup to watch.
