Did Hurricane Harvey throw a wrench in Sunday’s scheduled game between the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars in NRG Stadium? The game is taking place in Houston, Texas, which is still reeling from a devastating hurricane that has still left some areas flooded. But this isn’t going to stop those Texans from playing some football!

Before the game, the Texans will pay homage to first responders to the hurricane. The team will also honor Houston city officials and related members vital to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. That honored group will have select roles during Sunday’s game, such as Texas flag holders, Color Guard and coin toss captains.

Texan quarterback J.J. Watt has created a Houston Flood Relief Fund to assist those directly affected by Hurricane Harvey and its resulting flood. He has already raised almost $30 million towards the effort.

Watt’s is very excited for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. “It’s going to be a special day,” Watt said. “For three hours, we want to take people’s minds off everything that’s happened. We want to give them an escape.”
