Every great team needs a top coach providing them inspiration, encouragement and that added dose of energy to lead the team to victory. College football is a very serious sport with players and coaches putting their all into each game. But naturally, some teams aren’t scoring as well as others, maybe because of lousy players or an even lousier coach.
This list showcases the cream of the crop when it comes to coaches. Alabama maintains their spot at the top, as the Crimson Tide absolutely creamed the Florida State Seminoles, with a final score of 24-7. As a result of such a devastating defeat, Florida State fell down to the number 9 spot on the list.
FSU quarterback Deondre Francois also suffered a patella tendon injury after taking a shot to the back of the left knee during the game against Alabama. As a result, he will miss the remainder of the 2017 NCAA season.
