Aaron Judge may not be hitting many home runs on the field these days, but as far as we’re concerned, he’s still batting .1000 off the field.
This weekend, Judge took a break from striking out to attend the U.S. Open, hopefully in an effort to learn from athletes who make contact when they swing. However, Judge wasn’t alone, as the former AL-MVP candidate was with his new girlfriend Jen Flaum.
According to Flaum’s LinkedIn, she grew up in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and is a recent University of Michigan graduate.
The New York Post points out that while the extent of the pair’s relationship is unknown, the two follow each other on Instagram, where Flaum is frequently seen rocking Yankees gear.
Judge, of course, is a star outfielder for the New York Yankees. Judge took the league by storm to begin his rookie year, hitting 30 home runs before the All-Star break. However, since winning the Home Run Derby, Judge has hit a slump, batting just .169 with seven home runs. Furthermore, his 181 strikeouts are the most in the majors.
Despite this, we have a feeling that Judge is perfectly content with how his rookie year is playing out, both on and off the field.
