Someone, somewhere, has recently invested a lot of money in La Perla lingerie, because up until a couple months ago, I’ve never heard of them, but now I see them everywhere, all due to their campaign with Kendall Jenner.
Wisely recruiting Jenner as one of their models, La Perla now pops up on my Instagram feed every few weeks. Whether it be some artsy high-brow crap that I scroll right past or one of the best shots of Kendall’s, uh, money maker that I’ve ever seen, La Perla has earned an Instagram follow from me.
And this isn’t the first time Kendall Jenner has teamed up with La Perla to bring the heat, as they dropped this southern blood-flow inducing video back in March:
Marketing is easier, and cheaper, than it’s ever been, really. Just hire a smoke model and post a couple of Instagram videos and all of the idiot publishers in the world like me will write about it, playing right into their hand. Little known secret, but sex actually sells, and La Perla seems to have figured that out by hiring one of the world’s top 5 most famous models.
