Tammy Lynn Sytch is known as WWE’s original diva during the mid-to-late 1990s. She played the role of Sunny, a super-sexy and seductive valet for tag teams such as The Bodydonnas and the Legion of Doom 2000. She brought an extra level of attitude to the brand, and set the trend for more scantily-clad women to take her place in the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras.
However, Sunny hasn’t been so hot as of late. She’s gotten herself into a bit of legal trouble over the years, stemming to DUI arrests, a third-degree burglary charge and much more. She’s the only past performer who WWE refuses to pay for rehab treatment.
Sunny has certainly run into a rough patch in her life, which may or may not be the reason why she’s jumped into the world of adult entertainment. In 2016, she was featured in a pornographic film entitled Sunny Side Up: In Through the Backdoor.
Despite any hardship, Sunny can always look back at a career where she entertained fans all around the world with her charisma and majestic beauty. In 2011, she was honored for all her achievements in professional wrestling, as she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Sytch has been apart of the wrestling in one way or another for over 20 years. She began her career in Smokey Mountain Wrestling with her boyfriend Chris Candido. She’s appeared on almost every major wrestling promotion in the United States, from WWE to WCW to ECW and many more in-between.
Sunny is a true legend in the business of pro wrestling.
