WWE Monday Night Raw is invading the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. We start off tonight’s episode with “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. Let’s get right to the reigning and defending WWE Universal Champion…

The Beast Arrives…

Brock Lesnar’s theme music hits. Out comes the WWE Universal Champion along with his advocate Paul Heyman. Heyman hypes up Lesnar who was able to defeat three of Raw‘s top superstars. Lesnar overcame a corporate conspiracy according to Heyman.

Heyman brags about Brock annihilating Roman Reigns. He hypes up Lesnar some more, and then Braun Strowman’s music hits…

Strowman attacks Lesnar almost immediately. Lesnar tries to fight back, but runs right into Braun’s boot. Strowman takes out the Universal Champion with a running powerslam.


Brooklyn Street Fight: Big Cass vs. Enzo Amore

Enzo says that Cass broke bread with him and his family, and then broke his heart. Cass may have graduated from NYU, but Enzo graduated from the School of Hard Knocks, magna cum laude. Cass and Enzo started off in Brooklyn and that’s where they’re going to finish it! Enzo brings out a shopping cart full of weapons.

Big Cass runs up and crushes Enzo. He mops the floor with the little guy all the way to the ring. Big Cass is standing tall, while Enzo is crushed like a bug on the ground.

Cass is continuing the assault as we return from the commercial break. Enzo fires back, but Cass quickly crushes his momentum. Cass is seriously kicking ass, but Enzo ducks and the big man goes sailing over the top rope. Cass is hurt and can’t continue the match. Therefore, the referee stops the match and the underdog wins.

Emma vs. Nia Jax

If you blinked or went to the bathroom, you probably missed this match. Emma tries her best to fight off Nia Jax, but she gets squashed within a minute or less with a Samoan Drop.

Elias Samson vs. R-Truth

Elias Samson starts off this segment beneath a spotlight, with a guitar in hand. Samson sings a song, insulting the crowd. Out comes R-Truth interrupting Samson’s song and striking him in the face.

R-Truth fights hard, but one false move, and Elias Samson is in control. Samson hits the snap-winging neck-breaker for the win.

Kurt Angle has a HUGE surprise

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has a huge surprise for the audience. For the first time in over a year, 16-time world champion John Cena is on Raw. Cena’s music hits and the crowd sings “John Cena sucks” along with the beat of his song.

Cena is here to call out one man…

Roman Reigns music hits. Reigns is wondering if Cena is going to talk tough her or just on Twitter. Cena says that he’s not here to talk, he’s here to fight. Both men are about to scrap, but out comes The Miz and his Miztourage.

Miz is angry that each and every week the spotlight is given to Cena or Reigns while Miz has been working his ass off for 12 years. Fans are much more on Miz’s side than either Cena or Reigns. The fans boo them. But The Miz knows that Cena and Reigns don’t care. What Miz cares about is getting that opportunity and he’s going to take it.

John Cena says that Miz and a member of the Miztourage should step up and wrestle him and Roman tonight. Out comes Samoa Joe, and he wants in on the match. He wants to tag with Miz to fight Roman Reigns and especially John Cena.

A huge brawl breaks out in the ring. Miz and his Miztourage get crushed. Cena is about to give Samoa Joe an Attitude Adjustment, but Joe slips away and locks in the Coquina Clutch.


Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese vs. Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali and Gran Metalik

Drew Gulak and Gran Metalik tangle to start off the match. Mustafa Ali and Ariya Daivari go at it next. Ali takes out Daivari was a crossbody, and goes for the pin 1…2…kick out!

Tony Nese gets the tag and beats up Rich Swann before we go to the break.

The match was high-flying and fun. Long story short, the good guys won.

The Hardy Boyz vs. The Shield (Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins)

The Hardy Boyz kick ass to start off the match, crushing Seth Rollins with a double-team move. The Shield is reeling as we go to the commercial break.

Dean Ambrose turns the tide against Jeff Hardy. Rollins gets the tag and him and Ambrose double-team Jeff. Rollins keeps control of Jeff with a headlock, but Jeff escapes. Rollins and Ambrose exchange tags and put the hurting on Hardy.

Jeff takes out both members of The Shield with a Whisper in the Wind. Matt gets the tag and nearly deletes the competition. Rollins and Ambrose recover and hit a double Sling Blade on Matt, but Jeff breaks up the pin.

Rollins and Ambrose next take out The Hardys with a double suicide dive. After more back-and-forth action,  Ambrose takes out Jeff with a Dirty Deeds DDT. And Rollins goes for the cover.

Alexa Bliss crashes Sasha Banks’ Party

Sasha Banks is celebrating winning the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. She overcame a drought in the Barclay’s Center. “The Boss” Sasha Banks is now a legit champion.

Alexa Bliss comes out to rain on Sasha Banks’ parade. Next week, she’ll invoke her rematch clause against Banks. She says by next week, Sasha will be a “legit loser.” Ouch!


Jason Jordan vs. Finn Balor

Jason Jordan takes control early on of the match, grappling Finn Balor down to the mat. Jordan appears to be dominating Balor, but the former Universal Champion quickly turns the tide. Jordan fights back with a belly-to-belly suplex, but Balor recovers and kicks ass.

Jordan is in control as we return from the break. He has Balor trapped in a headlock. Jordan is absolutely dominant, using his strength to impose his will on Finn Balor. But Balor fights back with a kick to the head. Finn finishes the match with a flawless Coup de Grace from off the top rope.

John Cena & Roman Reigns vs. The Miz & Samoa Joe

Miz and Cena square off to the start match. Cena lays out Miz with a running bulldog. A beach ball distracts the wrestlers. Cena turns around and Joe lays him out. Joe punishes Cena and tags in Miz who does the same. Cena eats Miz’s big boot.

John Cena turns the tide, but Miz stops Cena’s momentum in its tracks. Joe gets the tag again and goes on the assault. Miz and Joe exchange tags and both lay the whooping on Johnny boy.

Both Reigns and Joe get the ring. Reigns attacks Joe and then knocks Miz off the apron. Reigns knocks Joe on his ass with a big boot. Reigns is going for the Superman punch, but Joe moves out of the way and counters with a Uranage slam. Joe stomps out Reigns. Miz comes in next and chokes the sh*t out of Reigns on the middle rope.

Even Bo Dallas gets a piece of the action when he lays out Reigns with a clothesline outside the ring. Miz pulls Reigns into the ring and goes for the cover. 1…2….kick out!

Miz lays into Reigns with a wicked series of “YES!” kicks. Reigns ducks and takes out Miz with a one-armed powerbomb. Reigns and Joe brawl next. Joe gains the upperhand and foot, as he stops the sh*t out of Roman Reigns. The numbers game is not in the favor of Reigns, but The Big Dog fights back regardless, ducking a clothesline from Bo Dallas and taking out Curtis Axel with a Drive-By kick. Reigns pulls down on the top rope, and knocks Miz out of the ring as a result.

Cena gets the tag and he unloads on Miz. Cena is about to hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle on Miz, but Joe pulls him out of the way and faces off against Cena. Cena swings, Joe ducks and locks him into the Coquina Clutch. Reigns tries to intervene, but mistakenly hits Cena with a Superman Punch.

Joe tries to take out Reigns, but runs directly into a right head. Joe and Reigns tumble to the floor. Meanwhile, John Cena is attempting to get up while The Miz is prepping for a Skull Crushing Finale. Cena counters with an Attitude Adjustment. And that’s it, kids!
