Sasha Banks is back in Brooklyn, looking to recapture the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Meanwhile, the champion, Alexa Bliss, appears undaunted and superbly confident. Ms. Bliss sits atop her red throne on Monday Night Raw, but at SummerSlam, Sasha might just knock from off that perch.
Can Alexa retain her gold in the Barclay’s Center? Or will Sasha reign supreme like a true boss?
Introducing Sasha Banks
“The Boss” Sasha Banks hails from Boston, Massachusetts. Although, she was born in Fresno, California, Banks began her wrestling career in Boston. In 2012, after two years of working the independent scene, Sasha signed on with the WWE.
Sasha spent three years down in NXT, where she honed her craft both in the ring and on the microphone. During her time in NXT, she developed the persona of “The Boss;” a cocky, confident and dominant competitor who ruled the women’s division. She’s a former WWE NXT Women’s Champion who helped bring female pro wrestling into the main event scene.

Introducing Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss is the self-proclaimed goddess of Monday Night Raw. She’s the only wrestler who has won both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. Bliss is one tough ass chick you won’t want to mess with.
The beautiful Bliss didn’t really hit in NXT, she never won a championship and was featured more as a valet. Bliss signed on with NXT in 2013, competing in the women’s division and acting as the manager for former NXT Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
Bliss was drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2016 WWE Brand Extension. She quickly rose through the ranks, and became champion of the women’s division by December of that year.
