2003-2010
Anthony was selected 3rd overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. From the beginning, Carmelo Anthony showed undeniable scoring ability and averaged 21 PPG his rookie season and 20.8 in his sophomore year. As he began to flourish into an NBA Star, Carmelo Anthony went on a scoring tear and averaged 23.6 points per game for the next 11 seasons. These would be the years that would eventually define the career of Carmelo Anthony. Within these seasons, Carmelo Anthony was a fantastic franchise player for the Denver Nuggets. After his second year, Anthony played another four seasons with Denver in which he averaged 26.5, 28.9, 25.7 and 22.8 PPG. 2011-2017

For the first year, The Knicks had a 36-30 record and were qualifiers for the NBA Playoffs as they made the sixth seed. The second year, the Knicks won 54 games and were one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, making the number 4 seed. The years proceeding began the demise of the franchise. 2017-Present
