When Vine, the social media app was at it’s peak, there was no way you could go on it without seeing Logan Paul. Logan Paul is an American social media personality.

Logan was born on April 1, 1995 in Westlake, Ohio. He started making videos for YouTube when he was 10 years old using a channel he launched called Zoosh. Here’s a video of some of his earliest and most critically-acclaimed work:

powerful stuff.

Logan and his brother Jake are moguls in pop culture, there’s no denying that. And with a great sum of followers,  a sh*tload of money is bound to follow. Aside from Youtube and Vine, Logan sells merchandise and has a digital TV series with Comcast called “Logan Paul Vs”. Outside of the internet, he appeared on an episode of Law & Order SVU and several movies. Paul wrote a screenplay called “Airplane Mode” which he describes as “American Pie” for Gen Z.

So with alot on his plate currently, you may be wondering how much this star is worth. The answer..

Logan Paul’s Net Worth 2017:Estimated  $2.7-3.5 Million

He runs two YouTube channels TheOfficialLoganPaul and his vlogging channel Logan Paul vlogs.

His rise to fame began when he gained over 3 million followers on Vine and ended up making hundreds of thousands through advertising. He then became involved with companies like PepsiCo, HBO and Hanes for product placement type bits. In his acting career, he appeared in Law & Order, Weird Loners and StitchersThe Thinning, and the adult comedy Airplane Mode (which he wrote). Logan mainly does comedy skits on his main YouTube channels though.

Ever wonder how youtube stars make money?

The main channel (TheOfficialLoganPaul) has over 1.7 million subscribers as of mid-2017 and has accumulated over 80 million views so far. It gets an average of 170,000 views per day. This should generate around $260 per day ($95,000 a year).

The vlogging channel, Logan Paul Vlogs, has over 8 million subscribers growing by over 20,000 new subs daily and has accumulated over 1 billion views so far. This one gets an average of 10 million views per day which should generate an estimated revenue of around $18,000 per day ($6.6 million a year) from ads that appear on the videos.

YouTubers get paid between $2 – $5 per 1000 monetized views after YouTube takes its cut. Monetized views range from 40% – 60% of the total views. All these are influenced by several factors like device played on, the location of the viewer, ad inventory, how many ads there are on a video, how many people skip the ads, ad engagement etc.

There is also a program known as Google Preferred where deep-pocketed companies can target ads on the top 5% most popular content. The ad rates here are higher than normal. Apart from ads, YouTubers also generate extra from YouTube Red viewers who pay a monthly fee to view premium content on YouTube plus watch videos without ads. Here they get paid based on watch time on their videos. The longer the viewers watch their videos, the more money they earn.

Logan makes extra income from his acting career and sponsorship deals. He has appeared in shows like Law & Order, Weird Loners, Stitches, Bizaardvark and Walk the Prank. His web series outside his YouTube channel include Logal Paul vs, and Bad Weather Films. He also sells his merchandise called Maverick Merch on his website.
