A doctor from East London has landed himself in a heap of trouble. Dr. Manish Shah, 47, has been charged with 118 sexual offenses, including a sexual assault charge on a girl under the age of 13.
Dr. Shah allegedly sexually assaulted 54 victims during surgery in Havering, east London. Shah is allegedly to have committed these criminal sexual acts between June 2004 and July 2013.
Several people came forward to police regarding Dr. Shah’s alleged sex crimes. From July to August 2013, victims informed authorities about being violated by the suspect. As a result, police began an investigation into Shah, leading to his arrest.
Dr. Manish Shah has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear at the Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 31, 2017.
