Lena Headey, born October 3, 1973 is an English actress best known for her role as Cersei Lannister on the generation defining Game Of Thrones.
After being discovered at just 17-years-old, Headey began working as an actress in supporting roles. Headey first began to gain mainstream popularity after roles in The Brothers Grimm, 300 and The Red Baron (2008).
Headey is best known for portraying Cersei Lannister in HBO’s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones since 2011, a performance that has earned her three consecutive Emmy award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series from2014 to 2016 and a Golden Globe Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2016.
In 2017, Headey became one of the highest paid actors in television history, earning $2 million per episode of Game of Thrones.
