The victim killed in the FireBall accident at the Ohio State Fair has been identified as 18-year-old Tyler Jarrett of Columbus.the FireBall ride at the Ohio State Fair malfunctioned during the opening day, killing one person and injuring several others. The person has been identified as Jarrett.

Around 7:20 PM on Wednesday, July 26, The Fire Ball, which spins about 40 feet above the ground as the entire structure moves like a pendulum, broke apart while it was in motion, killing Jarrett.

Jarrett, who was thrown about 50 feet into the air, was pronounced dead at the state fair grounds as a result of the impact. The FireBall ride is operated by a company called Amusements For America.

Ohio State Police have identified those injured as Tamika Dunlap, 36, Russell Franks, 42, Keziah Lewis, 19, Jacob Andrews, 22, Jennifer Lambert, 18, Abdihakim Hussein, 19, and a 14-year-old whose name is not being revealed at the request of the family.
