Every month is a new month in the video gaming industry, and this month we see a number of huge gaming developers releasing their round of blockbuster titles for scrutiny. Companies like EA and TellTale games have geared up and are waiting with anticipation for their time to shine as the clock ticks closer to each game’s release date.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm

The trailer for Life is Strange: Before the Storm tells the story of Rachel and Chloe before the first season of the game. TellTale Games designed this one to feed into the original plot line and provide extra context to what happened before Rachel died. Seems to be just as intense and gripping as the other seasons, too, which is a trademark quality in many of the games TellTale makes. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

The yearly Madden releases continue with this year’s new thrilling football sports game. This time, there’s a whole new list of additions and changes. The game now uses Frostbite Engine, improving the stadium’s exteriors, the frame-by-frame player movements, and crowd realism to create a photorealistic experience. Mut Squads, live match ups and target passing are a few other important features that were added, too. You can get this game for $59.999 on August 25.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

The development of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy officially finished last Thursday, and based on what we know about the adventure game, we’re sure to be in for a wild ride. The adventure follows the two protagonists, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, as they venture into the Western Ghats mountains to discover the ancient cities of the Hoysala Empire to recover an ancient Indian artifact. They’ll have to face up against a ruthless warmonger, Asav, to get through to their destination. You can pick this up for $39.99 on August 22nd.

Sonic Mania

Sonic the Hedgehog fans rejoice as Sega dips into their old selves with this reminiscent, 2-D installment to the Sonic series, Sonic Mania. Graphics and sound bites were taken from older versions of the game here. You can play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles as you battle your way to defeat the evil Dr. Eggman.
