UFC Fight Night 113 emerges with a new exhilarating fight! Both MMA followers and UFC enthusiasts are ready for an exciting bout between two welterweights, Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio.
Nelson (16-2-1) has won two straight, most recently a second-round submission victory over Alan Jouban in March. The Icelandic star and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has only lost to Demian Maia since 2014. Nelson, 28, boasts a 7-2 record in the UFC and has etched his name among the top welterweights in the world.
Ponzinibbio (24-3) has quietly put together one heck of a run, winning four straight, including two by TKO. The Argentinian striker has only lost to Lorenz Larkin since 2013, emerging victorious six of his last seven fights. Ponzinibbio, 30, trains out of Rio de Janeiro and is an alum of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil.
Although the fight will be unpredictable and not illuminating since it isn’t a major fight, let’s ensure that the fight will be entertained with proper expectations and good spirits.
