Chase and Status Finally Reveal Information on Fourth Album, “Tribe”

Chase and Status, the premiere drum and bass producers on Planet Earth have just announced their fourth studio album, Tribe. The album has been highly anticipated by fans since the group started releasing a series of singles last summer, including “Control,” “NRG,” “Spoken Word,” and their most recent “All Goes Wrong.”

Chase and Status have been experimenting with a lot of live, loud music recently and the initial release of “Control” with the UK punk group Slaves had some people wondering if the whole new album was going to be aggressive, punky, and mean. But the subsequent release of hits like “Spoken Word” and “All Goes Wrong” revealed that the group also plans on creating some of the music that fans have come to expect. That being said, the name of the album, Tribe, and the logo on the cover “We Stand Together” gives away a kind of feeling that the album will be at least somewhat politically motivated.

Only July 1st, 2017 the group announced that their album was finally finished with an Instagram post, reading: “#album4 is signed, sealed & delivered. Release info coming soon. #chaseandstatus”

And then today, on July 13th, a day after they performed in Ibiza with Andy C (the legend who actually signed them and broke them out to the world), Chase and Status announced the name of the album Tribe and that a tracklist would be coming soon.
