Heather K. Jones, a 48-year-old third-grade teacher at a Wichita elementary school, was arrested on suspicion of being a drug dealer on Tuesday, July 11.

According to Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Lt. Lin Dehning, Jones, 48, was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail shortly before 10:30 PM on Tuesday. She was arrested on suspicion of seven counts of cocaine distribution.

Police say the arrest was the culmination of a two-month investigation by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
