Sasha Banks is that badass boss who calls all the shots. Tonight, she’ll clash with “The Goddess” Alexa Bliss in a match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view. Alexa Bliss Vs. Sasha Banks: Must-See Photos Of The WWE Wrestlers
Banks made her pro wrestling debut back in 2010 for the Chaotic Wrestling promotion, based in Woburn, Massachusetts. She spent the next two year’s working the northeast indie scene before moving onto WWE. Her charisma and in-ring ability quickly propelled Sasha to the top of both WWE and NXT’s women’s division.
On July 13, 2015, Banks finally arrived on Monday Night Raw. She quickly ascended to the forefront of WWE’s women’s division. She brought female wrestling to the main event of WWE shows and pay-per-views, alongside “The Queen” Charlotte Flair. Sasha and Flair battled for the better part of 2016. These two titans of the squared circle traded championships like baseball cards.
On October 30, 2015, Sasha made history as she participated in the first-ever women’s Hell In A Cell match. She may have fell to Charlotte on that night, but her name will forever go down in the record books.
But Sasha has a whole new challenge on her hands in the form of Alexa Bliss. Does Banks have what it takes to topple a goddess?
