Rick Vaughn and the Cleveland Indians got close, but they never did manage to win a World Series in the Major League movie franchise. Lucky for star Charlie Sheen, he’s not done #Winning in real life.

Sheen was revealed to be the owner of not only Babe Ruth’s 1927 World Series ring, but also an original copy of the sale document that sent the Great Gambino to New York. Flames. Now, Sheen is selling both as a part of a Leland auction that will wrap up on Friday.

The two lots are already generating more than $1 million combined, with bidding on the ring topping $600,000 and bidding on the document reaching the $400,000-plus mark. The prices for both are expected to continue climbing until the sales are complete. Sadly, we don’t know just how much Sheen is making because he can’t remember how much he paid for them back in the early 1990s. Classic Sheen.

Both items are said to be in mint condition, which Sheen claims is better than the condition of memorabilia seen in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Boston owner Harry Frazee’s copy of the document (Sheen is selling Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert’s) sold in 2005 for $996,000. Almost $1 million for a piece of paper. Think about that.

“I’ve enjoyed these incredible items for more than two decades and the time has come. Whatever price it brings is gravy,” Sheen told ESPN.

Sheen has long been a big baseball memorabilia fan, having previously owned the infamous baseball that went through Bill Buckner’s legs in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.

Who knows what Sheen would have done had the Indians held on to win Game 7 of last year’s World Series.
