A man was attacked with a machete in a Birmingham High Street this morning. Police investigating at the scene.
Cops were called to Lye High Street at about 9.30am this morning and have said a man suffered “serious head injuries”
A 36-year-old man was taken to a hospital with serious head injuries, although they are not believed to be life-threatening.

West Midlands Police told the Birmingham Mail: “Police were alerted at 9.30am to an incident at a shop in Lye High street during which a man was attacked with a machete.
“It’s understood this was a targeted attack as the result of an on-going dispute and was not a random attack.
“There is not deemed to be any risk to the wider public.
