Havoc (Kejuan Muchita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson), a hip-hop duo named Mobb Deep, is considered “one of the most critically acclaimed Hardcore East Coast Hip-Hop groups” in America.

In 2012, the duo briefly disbanded due to a personal altercation between both members; however, they reconciled eventually and collaborated on their new album and went on their 2oth anniversary tour. Since 1993, the group has already released eight studio albums which include Juvenile Hell (1993), The Infamous (1995), Hell on Earth (1996), Murda Muzik (1999), Infamy (2001), Amerikaz Nightmare (2004), Blood Money (2006) and The Infamous Mobb Deep (2014).

Mobb Deep’s Net Worth as of 2017: $10 Million

Sadly, Prodigy passed away Tuesday, June 20, after his long-time battle with sickle cell anemia. He was in Las Vegas over the weekend performing with the Art of Rap tour with Ghostface Killah, Onyx, KRS-One, and Ice-T. Mobb Deep performed Saturday night.

Despite the loss of one of the key members of Mobb Deep, let’s celebrate and remember the key achievements and praise they received throughout their hip-hop careers.
