Roman Reigns kicks off Raw with a big announcement

Reigns announces that he’ll face the winner of Lesnar vs. Joe at SummerSlam. Why? Because he runs this ring and he makes the rules. Reigns doesn’t fear anyone. He’s performed in three-straight WrestleMania main events, most recently retiring The Undertaker. He doesn’t care if he has to face Lesnar or Joe.

Samoa Joe doesn’t like Reigns running his mouth. He reintroduces himself as Samoa Joe, a guy that Roman never beat. Reigns says that no matter what he’ll always be just Joe.

Joe headbutts Reigns and goes on the attack. Joe catapults Reigns into the barricade over and over. But Roman regains control in the ring and takes out The Samoan Submission Machine with a single Superman Punch.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Matt Hardy and Anderson duke it out to start the match. Jeff gets the tag and we get some double-team action from The Hardys. Matt gets the tag and goes on the attack against Anderson. Gallows tries to gain control, but his elbow misses his opponent. Jeff gets another tag. He pushes Anderson to the floor and takes out Gallows with a Poetry In Motion in the corner. Jeff hits Luke with a big splash. Hardy goes for the pin. 1..2….kick out!

Gallows turns the tide when he hits Jeff with a hard shot and beats him into the corner. Anderson joins in on the violence. Hardy tries to make a comeback, but the imposing team of Gallows & Anderson are just too much for Jeff.

We’re back from the break, and the bad guys are in control. Gallows & Anderson are decimating the Hardys (particularly Jeff). During the break, the younger Hardy crumbles after getting smacked in the grill with Luke Gallows’ big boot.

The Golden Age is Back!

Goldust says that he’s ready for his close-up…

Elias Samson in concert

There’s a spotlight hanging over Elias Samson. He plays the guitar, and tells the crowd to remain silent. But needs to stop to tune the strings. The crowd boos, and Samson says he needs absolute silence to tune the guitar.

Finn Balor comes down to the ring, and Samson gets the steppin’.

Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas

Dallas attacks Balor before the match can get started. Bo is showing a mean streak like we’ve never. The referee checks on Balor and Bo is going mad. The ref rings the bell and Dallas assaults Balor in the corner. Bo knocks down Finn with a clothesline. Dallas brings Balor to the outside and whips him into the barricade. Dallas charges and smacks Balor in the face with his knee.

Bo pins Balor, but only gets a 2 count. Finn rallies back and takes control the match. Balor hits Bo with a flurry of offense which sends him outside the ring. Finn runs the apron and kicks Dallas right in the face.

Seth Rollins In-Ring Promo

Seth Rollins is the cover-boy of the new video game WWE 2k18. The crowd chants “You deserve it.” Seth honors the crowd. They might as well be on the cover of WWE 2k18.

Bray Wyatt interrupts this segment. He appears on the titan-tron. Rollins will pay for taking Bray’s name in vain. Seth calls Bray extremely egotistical. Bray might be a god, but he’s nothing in Seth’s world. Bray thinks Seth must feel safe. But he’s not. Tonight, they’ll be a sacrifice…

Wyatt’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Bray blows out his lamp at ringside and Rollins leaps out onto Wyatt. Rollins is bleeding, but smiling.

Finn Balor interview

Finn Balor is being interview backstage. Balor talks about how dangerous Samoa Joe truly is; once he gets you locked in that Coquina Clutch, there is no getting out. Then Elias Samson attacks Balor from behind outta nowhere. This is what Balor gets for upstaging Elias earlier in the night. A well-dressed D’von Dudley comes out to check on Balor and back off Samson.

Akira Tozawa vs. TJP (TJ Perkins)

But the match can start, Titus O’Neil storms down to the ring. Hold up, hold up, hold up… A match of this magnitude needs some hype from The Titus Brand…seriously?

O’Neil builds up the match between the next champion Tozawa and the first-ever Cruiserweight Champion TJP. Tozawa and TJP mix it up. The former champion takes control early on with an arm drag on Akira. TJP does too much showing off, and gets rolled up by Tozawa. TJP kicks out, but gets thrown with an arm drag.

Tozawa sends TJP sailing with a hurricarana. Akira hits Perkins with a hard kick. TJP regains control and Neville’s music hits. He’s hear to watch the match and see Tozawa who’s crazy enough to think he’ll be the next champion.

Post-match: Titus continues to hype-up his main Akira Tozawa. He says once Tozawa signs with The Titus Brand, then it’ll be guaranteed that he’ll become the next Cruiserweight Champion. Neville has enough of this sh*t and stands up on the announcer’s table. He calls Titus a “peasant” and tells him to watch his tongue. He warned Akira to trend very, very lightly or else become annihilated by the King of the Cruiserweights. Titus thinks Neville sounds like a scared little boy and soon he’ll feel “the power of the Tozawa.”

R-Truth-sploitation Promo: Truth is ready for the Golden One

R-Truth accepts Goldust’s challenge for next week in Hollywood.

The Miz is looking for an entourage

Miz pisses off both Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Axel looks ready to pounce on Miz. Miz says they’re better off joining him instead of fighting him. These two wrestlers are pretty low on the todem pole. Dallas has been comic relief for years on the lower card, while Axel has just been wrestling with catering lately. But “The Hollywood A-Lister” does make a good point…

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe

Joe and Reigns lock-up in an equal show of strength to start the match. Fans duel whether they like or hate Reigns. Roman fires back with uppercuts on Joe who exits the ring to catch his breath. Joe turns the tide and beats the crap outta Reigns.

Samoa Joe defeats Roman Reigns via submission.

Post-Match: Braun Strowman comes down to the ring. He says he’s “not finished with you!” He picks up Reigns and then slams him back down to the mat. Strowman lifts his arms in the air and lets out a warrior cry. The crowd cheers in approval.

Miz TV w/Maryse, Some Bears, and a Surprise

Miz is very sorry for ruining Maryse’s big gift from last week. He wants to make up for everything and gives his wife a gift of her own. It’s a refurbished grandfather clock. And soon, out comes “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose to spoil all the fun. But good thing Miz has some beefy back-up.

Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crew vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

Bliss and Emma enter the ring and they’re about to clash, but Alexa moves out of the way and Emma accidentally kicks Nia in the nether-regions.

Nia Jax defeats Sasha Banks via disqualification

Kurt Angle brings out our usual suspects

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle comes down to the ring to interrogate The Big Show an The Revival. Enzo and Big Cass are also in the ring. Big Show is offended for Angle’s accusations. Show says that he doesn’t attack people from behind, if he wants to fight someone than it’s in their face. Show threatens Big Cass and leaves the ring. Maybe he’ll leave Monday Night Raw for good.

Cass trash-talks Big Show as he leaves. Angle then narrows his gaze towards The Revival. Scott Dawson interrupts Angle’s rant. Dawson has an alibi. Kurt says he received backstage evidence that supports Dawson’s alibi.

Raw color commentator Corey Graves stands up at his announcer’s booth. He has evidence of his own. He shows backstage footage that proves that Big Cass didn’t get attacked last week. Big Cass laid down himself and made everything up. The Cass is out of the bag, folks!

Big Cass admits being the architect of this reoccurring ruse. Cass has been planning this for a while. He’s fed up with Enzo’s sh*t. He felt sorry for him before because nobody backstage even likes him. But now, he has to cut off the dead weight of Enzo because he’s holding the big man back. Cass tells Enzo, “We’re through!”

Cass levels Enzo with a big boot. The tag team of Enzo & Cass is in the history books.
