The New Day kicks off SmackDown Live

The New Day start tonight’s show in a big way with a Marti Gras celebration with bright colors and music. It’s a celebration, b**tches!

Xavier Woods pokes fun of The Usos, calling them the off-off-off-off-off Broadway rendition of Straight Outta Compton. Xavier believes they’ll beat The Usos this Sunday and take the titles back to New Orleans at WrestleMania 34. The Usos come out and call The New Day make a Drumline reference.

Breezango come out next and The Fashion Police are on the case! The Usos have obviously violated a fashion law. Next, we get The Colons, and we got a match, folks!


The New Day & Breezango vs. The Usos & The Colons

Fandango tags in Kofi Kingston and then Jimmy Usos tagged in Primo. Kingston beats up Primo and then tags in Xavier Woods who double teams the Colon cousin. Fandango gets the tag next and Primo regains control. But ‘Dango  turns the tide.

The good guys are working like a well-oiled machine. Xavier and Tyler Breeze even do a bit of double-teaming, as Tyler sends Primo flying with a head-scissors. The bad guys are reeling out of the ring while The New Day and Breezango celebrate within the ring.

During the commercial break, The Usos turn the tide, taking Tyler to their penitentiary. Primo gets the tag and puts the hurting on Breeze, lifting him in a stalled vertical suplex. But Breeze fights back and he’s able to take down both Colon cousins.

Xavier Woods gets the tag and comes in like a great ball of fire. Before Kofi tags in, Xavier flies over the top rope onto The Colons. Kofi dominates Jimmy Uso and takes him out with a Trouble in Paradise. Jey breaks up the pin. Chaos ensues in the ring.

Primo gets the tag and attempts a backstabber on Kofi, but the wily veteran holds onto the ropes. Xavier gets the tag and Primo gets taken out with an Up, Up, Down, Down from the top rope.

The New Day & Breezango defeat The Usos & The Colons


The returning Zack Ryder has an idea for his Hyped Bro

Mojo Rawley is being interviewed backstage about his loss last week to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Rawley says Mahal isn’t the same guy he beat two months ago. But regardless, his loss last week was devastating. But a small part of him is glad that he lost. He’s going to use his loss and he’s “gonna use it as a springboard to up his game in the future because the best of Mojo Rawley is yet to come!”

But then out comes: woo, woo, woo, you know it, bro! Zack Ryder is back and the Hyped Bros have some unfinished business to take care of as a tag team.


Naomi vs. Tamina Snuka

“The Ravishing Russian” Lana comes down to ringside to watch this match.

Naomi unloads on Tamina. The champ gets so aggressive that the referee needs to get between both women. Tamina capitalizes and knocks Naomi on her booty. Snuka is throwing around the women’s champion like a ragdoll.

Tamina traps the champion in the headlock, but Naomi fights up and out. The champ hits Snuka with some kicks, but the larger opponent quickly puts down the glowing champion with a hard strike to the chest.

Naomi is sitting in the corner and Tamina charges and hits the champion in the corner. Naomi tries to rally back, but eats a sick clotheslines. Tamina goes for the cover. 1….2…kick out!

Tamina puts Naomi back in that headlock. The champ tries to rally back, but gets slammed back down to the mat. Tamina ascends the top rope, but gets caught by Naomi who knocks her down to the ring.

Naomi puts away Tamina with a split-legged moonsault.

Naomi defeats Tamina

Post-Match: Lana sneaks up on Naomi hits her in the back. Lana drops the champion with a modified fisherman’s spinebuster.


Jinder Mahal faces off against The Viper

WWE World Champion Jinder Mahal comes down to the ring with the Singh Brothers. Mahal says that Orton is like a garden-snake hiding in the grass. On Sunday, he will fall to the modern day Maharaja.

Orton music hits and the Singh Brothers rush to the entrance ramp. Jinder locks towards the titan-tron with a nervous look. Randy Orton comes behind and hits an RKO outta nowhere!


Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya

Charlotte controls the early part of the match-up. But Nattie takes control when we go to commercial break. Natalya is literally stepping all over The Queen. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch watches on from backstage.

When we come back from the break, Nattie has Charlotte trapped in a surfboard submission. Flair turns the tide and goes on the attack. The Queen executes a flawless moonsault from the top rope. Charlotte goes for the pin-fall. 1…2…kick out!

Charlotte charges and takes out Nattie with a big boot. Meanwhile, Carmella and James Ellsworth look on from a TV screen backstage. Charlotte ascends the top rope, but the “Black Heart” Natalya sends Charlotte crashing to the ring with a sitdown powerbomb. Nattie goes for the cover. 1…2…kick out!

Nattie traps The Queens in the sharpshooter submission. Charlotte sends Nattie back to the mat with a big boot. The Queen looks up at the briefcase, and Nattie rolls up Queen for a 2 count.

The Queen ends Natalya with a Natural Selection.

Fashion Files: Tyler Breeze was attacked!

We have a new mystery on our hands, folks! Who attacked Tyler Breeze?


Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn & AJ Styles

We return from commercial and the match is underway. Ziggler and Nakamura are mixing it up. The artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura takes control, leveling Ziggler and dropping a hard knee onto “The Showoff.” Nakamura is feeding off of the energy of the crowd. But Ziggler strikes back with a dropkick.

Owens get the tag and attacks Nakamura. Next comes Baron Corbin who continues the assault on “The King of Strong Style.” Corbin stomps a mudhole in Shinsuke and walked it dry. Corbin then has some unkind words for Sami Zayn and the referee.

Dolph Ziggler return to the ring and traps Shinsuke in a headlock. AJ Styles get the tag and comes in like a bolt of lightning. Styles assaults Ziggler, then knocks Corbin off the apron. AJ continues his onslaught on Dolph, sending him to the mat with a gut-buster. AJ knocks Owens off the apron and then takes Ziggler down again with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker.

After Styles fails to put away Ziggler, Owens and Zayn go at it. Sami knocks KO out of the ring and flies on his foe with a suicide dive between the middle ropes. The crowd chants, “ole!” But his momentum is crashed by Corbin, who sends Sami to the mat with a Deep Six. Corbin goes for the cover, but Nakamura makes the save.

We’re back from the commercial break, KO is putting the boots to Sami Zayn and talking that good sh*t to AJ Styles. Owens attempts a senton, but Sami puts his knees up and counters. But KO quickly regroups and drops Zayn with a DDT. Owens goes for the cover. 1….2….kick out!

Corbin gets back in the match with a tag and stomps away on the fallen Zayn. Corbin squashes Sami in the corner and beats him down, while the referee tries to intervene by giving the Lone Wolf a warning. Corbin yells the ref and continues the assault.

Owens gets tagged back in and Corbin holds down Sami. KO hits Zayn with a series of strikes. But the “Underdog of the Underground” comes back with a Blue Thunderbomb outta nowhere.

Baron Corbin gets tagged back into the action and prevents the desperate Zayn for making a tag. Corbin whips Sami into the corner. Zayn knocks Ziggler off the apron, but Corbin comes back with a big splash in the corner. Sami pulls a clotheslines out of his bag of tricks and sends Corbin to the mat.

Sami knocks the Corbin over the top rope and desperately tries to back a tag. Both Owens and Ziggler prevent that tag from taking place, by knocking Styles and Nakamura off the apron. Shinsuke is laid out, while AJ is beating the crap outta Owens. Corbin is preoccupied with a hostile AJ Styles. Sami capitalizes with a helluva kick for the win!

Sami Zayn, AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura defeat Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens & Dolph Ziggler

Post-Match Mayhem: Right after the match, Ziggler takes down both Styles and Zayn. Owens brings a ladder in the ring, and the crowd approves by chanting “YES!” Ziggler and KO charge towards Sami with the ladder, as they level the Underdog of the Underground. They take out Styles next. Ziggler and Owens look up at the briefcase long enough for Baron Corbin to come out of nowhere, taking down both men with a ladder. Corbin beats the crap out of both men with that metal object. Baron ascends the ladder, but Shinsuke Nakamura knocks over the ladder and sends Corbin crashing to the mat. Nakamura takes out Baron with a Kinshasa.

Shinsuke Nakamura ascends the ladder as the crowd cheers him on. He grabs hold and unhooks the Money In The Bank briefcase. Could this be a sign for things to come on Sunday?
