Talk about a party foul.
Imagine you’re on your way home from work, minding your own business, cruising down to the highway to some Bruce Springsteen (shout out to Jersey). And a couple of hundred yards ahead, you see a massive 10-wheel truck flip on it’s side, skidding into the ditch on the side of the road.
99/100 times, this is an absolute travesty. But this, this just so happens to be the one time it’s not.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said a big rig hauling a shipment of beer rolled over on its side on a freeway ramp in Tempe. The DPS says the accident occurred around 10 AM on Wednesday, June 7, on the eastbound US 60 ramp to the southbound Loop 101.
Authorities say the driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the driver lost control of the truck on the transition ramp. The truck rolled on its side and the beer, cans of Bud Light, poured out onto the ground from the top of the truck.
The driver, according to DPS, had to be extricated and was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
The ramp remained closed for cleanup as ADOT cautioned drivers in the area.
“Caution, it’s a little foamy there,” ADOT tweeted.
And Arizona, if you need any help with the cleanup, me and my boys will do it for free.
