The Dallas Police Headquarters are on lockdown due to a suspicious bottle with liquid found near the front entrance. The bomb squad is on the scene investigating.

Bomb squads are investigating a suspicious bottle with liquid found near the front entrance at the Dallas Police Headquarters.
Sources told NBC 5 the suspicious package was found at the north entrance of the building in the 1400 block of South Lamar Street. It is reportedly a bottle filled with liquid. There are some reports that it also contained a note.
A SWAT team was called in to assist.
Partial evacuations are underway as a precaution. Lamar St. has been closed as police continue to investigate.
An explosives unit, hazmat truck and fire engines all responded to the scene. The streets around the building were also closed as a precaution.
“We are asking that anyone in the vicinity stay clear until the incident is resolved and made safe,” police said.
The Dallas PD have confirmed the suspicious package and partial evacuation.
No further details have been released.
