Crews suplexes Kalisto as we come back from the break. But the smaller man quickly rebounds and wears out his opponent with fast-paced action. Singles match for the WWE Intercontiental Championship, if Ambrose gets disqualified then Miz wins the title: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. The Miz

Ambrose and Miz are tearing each other apart. The Lunatic Fringe is kicking ass, but The Miz stops his momentum and beats him down into submission. The Miz looks dominant and well on his way to his seventh IC Championship reign.

Ambrose battles back and takes control of “The Hollywood A-Lister.” Dean even locks The Miz in his own figure four leg lock. Miz grabs for the ropes and Dean breaks up the hold at the count of 4 (a 5 count would have disqualified Ambrose).

Miz tells Maryse to slap him to get disqualified. Maryse slaps Miz, but the referee knows what’s up and tells Maryse to get out of here. While the ref is distracted with Maryse, The Miz throws Dean into the ref.

The referee is about to call for the bell and disqualify Dean Ambrose because he thinks The Lunatic Fringe knocked him down on purpose. Ambrose is upset and distracted. Miz capitalizes with a skull-crushing finale. The ref makes the 3 count.

Mixed tag team match: Sasha Banks and Rich Swann vs. Alicia Fox and Noam Dar

Sasha and Alicia put in work for most of the match. Alicia is really showing off her mean streak, while Sasha is still the boss and kicks ass like only she can. Towards the end of the match, Noam Dar sacrificed himself for Alicia Fox by pushing her out of the way and taking Sasha’s flying knees to his neck. Rich Swann rolls Dar back in the ring and executes a perfect 450 splash from the top rope.

Bayley hits Alexa with a suplex by ringside. She then goes in the ring and grabs the kendo stick and scares the sh*t out of Alexa. But Bayley takes too long to hit Alexa who tackles her opponent to the mat.

Alexa grabs hold of that kendo stick and goes to town on Bayley. She’s lighting up Bayley with shot after shot with that stick. Bayley battles back with a Bayley-toBody suplex. But Bayley is way too hurt. Alexa gets up first and puts the kendo stick in the corner. Bayley charges and hits her collar bone and neck on the stick. Alexa hits Bayley with a DDT and it’s all over.

Now, Sheamus & Cesaro are double-teaming Matt. But the elder Hardy fights valiantly against the odds, taking down both opponents. But the numbers game play against Matt and he gets his ass kicked. Sheamus drops him off the top rope with a super White Noise. Jeff tries to stop the other team from escaping, but eats a Brogue Kick instead.

Jeff finally evens the odds by climbing the cage and jumping onto Sheamus and Cesaro with a whisper in the wind. Both teams try to escape. Matt leaves the ring and drags Jeff out. But Cesaro & Sheamus hit the floor first.

Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

The main event was absolute chaos. Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt joined forces and dissected every opponent, especially Finn Balor. Bray annihilated every man in sight except Joe. He placed a steel chair on Finn Balor and allowed Joe to back splash “The Demon King” as he wriggled in pain.

Joe and Wyatt eventually turn on each other. Joe is about to take out Wyatt on the announcer’s table, but Reigns comes along and spears both Bray and Balor through the barricade. Rollins frog splashes from the top rope onto Wyatt through the table.

Seth and Reigns square off. Former Shield cohorts are fighting it out until only one top dog survives. But then Bray Wyatt comes in the ring and tries to take out both Reigns and Rollins. But “The Big Dog” takes down “The Eater of Worlds” with a spear.

We’re back to Rollins vs. Reigns. Seth sends “The Guy” Reigns sailing across the ring with a bucklebomb. But Reigns battles back with a Superman punch. Finn Balor inserts himself back into the match. He charges at Reigns, but eats a Superman punch for his troubles.

Reigns hulks up to no avail as The Demon King strikes with a slingblade followed by a few hard kicks. Balor ascends the top rope and crashes down on Reigns with a Coup de Grace. Balor goes for the cover, but Joe breaks up the pin attempt with a Cocquina Clutch. Balor passes the f**k out! We have a new #1 contender in the form of “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe!
