Comedian Kathy Griffin jumped out of the shadows this week, holding up a fake bloody severed head of President Donald Trump. She apologized for the graphic photo, but then broke down in tears, claiming to be victimized by Trump’s family and other older white men. And of course, the internet responded in kind with some pretty dank memes.
Kathy has rejuvenated her career via prop comedy. She can thank the Trump-obsessed media and Donnie Freedom himself for helping pull her out of the shadows. The only photo I can find of Trump and Griffin together is a very friendly photo-op. When “Big Mean Donnie Cheese” was merely an entertainer on reality television, Kathy had no problem with the cheeky billionaire. But of course, there is a lot of money to be made from the hysteria surrounding him. Why do you think we took the time to make so many meme articles about Trump in the past?
