Kylie Jenner Dead Conspiracy: Full Story & Must-See Details

Kylie Jenner is one of the most famous celebrities in the world. Thanks to decade-long tenure on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, savvy social media presence and her bundle of product lines, Jenner is always front and center of the pop culture world.

As we know though, with great fame comes a deluge of outlandish speculation, and this latest conspiracy theory involving Jenner is one of the most bizarre yet. Reminiscent of The Beatles’ “Paul Is Dead” claim, this new theory claims that the real Kylie Jenner is no longer alive and has in fact been replaced by a body double.

The conspiracy first gained traction on May 14 when Twitter user @_w0rmboy posted a side-by-side photo comparison of Jenner five years ago and Jenner in 2016. Admittedly, this tweet came in while humorous conspiracy theories were trending on Twitter, so it was likely made in jest. However, the difference in appearance is pretty striking.

Plastic Surgery?

The commonly held belief is that Jenner – along with many of her sisters- underwent extensive plastic surgery. Us Weekly ran an entire piece about Kylie’s radical physical changes from 2007 (when KUWTK first aired) to 2016.

Countless articles and online lists have been published that compare her before and “after” photos, which closely examine the changes in her hips, her eyes, her backside, her jaw, and most notably, her lips.

15,000 Likes

As of this writing, the original tweet has generated more than 15,000 likes. Response to the “theory” have fallen all across the spectrum, with some supporting the wild claim and others bashing it. Check out some of the Twitter reactions.

Previous Death Hoaxes

This isn’t the first time rumors about Jenner’s supposed demise have cropped up. Less than a week ago, a Facebook page titled “R.I.P. Kylie Jenner” wound up with almost one million likes. The About section gave an authentic-sounding account of her alleged passing:

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday (May 17, 2017), our beloved model Kylie Jenner passed away. Kylie Jenner was born on August 10, 1997 in Calabasas. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

The page drew so much activity that on May 18, Jenner’s reps issued a statement to clear up any confusion: “She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the internet.”

Other Celebrities

Around the same time of the Jenner conspiracy, another celebrity theory made the rounds on the Internet.

This one claimed that pop singer Avril Lavigne died in 2004 and had been replaced by an actress Melissa Vandella. The website “Avril Is Dead” first purported the theory.
