Police have arrived at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School in Greensville, New York due to a lockdown.
The lockdown reportedly began after a student yelled that someone had a gun in a backpack. This prompted a lockdown and a search.
The lockdown at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School has since ended.

Edgemont Junior-Senior High School is a high school in Greenville, Westchester County, New York, serving students in grades 7 -12. Its feeder schools are Greenville School and Seely Place School, where students graduate in the sixth grade. Edgemont Junior-Senior High School has a “California-style campus,” which is similar to a small college campus. The school has five academic buildings, with one building dedicated to the seventh and eighth graders.
In 2015, Niche Magazine selected the Edgemont School District as the #1 Public School District in America.
The school’s colors are blue and white and its mascot is a panther.
