Manhunt On For Nashville Shooting Suspect And Missing 15-Year-Old Girl

An Amber Alert has been issued for an East Tennessee teenager believed to be with the suspect accused of killing a Nashville store clerk.

Metro Nashville Police officials said 28-year-old Daniel Clark has been identified as the suspect who fatally shot 58-year-old John Daniel Stevens inside the Exxon on Charlotte Pike during a robbery.

Stevens died at the scene.

What Happened?

UPDATE: Daniel Clark has been captured by police and Trinity Quinn has been found.

Clark is said to have shot Stevens inside the Exxon on Charlotte Pike during a robbery. The suspect is now believed to be with 15-year-old Trinity Quinn, from Dayton, Tennessee. An endangered child alert was previously issued but later upgraded to an Amber Alert.

Quinn was last seen on Monday at Rhea Central Elementary School where she was waiting for a bus to the high school. She was wearing a camouflage hoodie with blue jeans and cowboys boots.

A manhunt is underway in the Nashville area for Clark and Quinn, who are both now believed by authorities to be on foot.

Clark’s Pontiac minivan was found in a parking lot near the Exxon where the shooting and robbery took place. Police are now searching the area new Brookmeade Elementary, which is no longer in use as a school. Metro Nashville Public Schools security are assisting Metro police in the search.

No school have been placed on lockdown at this time and school officials have said they are monitoring the situation as the manhunt continues.

Authorities have urged residents in the area to remain vigilant and lock their doors.


Daniel Clark

Daniel Aaron Clark, 28, is suspected of killing John Daniel Stevens, 58, in Nashville on Tuesday night. Later, Trinity Faith Quinn, 15, was reported missing and police believe she is with Clark. An Amber Alert has been issued.

He is described as a white man who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 168 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
