Nakamura fires back with more trash talk, but Ziggler is having none of it. Dolph kicks him in the stomach. But Nakamura quickly recovers and executes an insane suplex on Ziggler.

AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin

AJ has Corbin trapped in a headlock for much of this match’s opening moments. But The Lone Wolf battles back, as Styles finds himself caught up between the ropes. Baron capitalizes, charges at Styles and knocks him out of the ring.

We’re back from commercial break, and Corbin has Styles in a headlock of his own. We see a clip that shows Corbin perform an epic back-body drop on Styles. AJ breaks free of the headlock and tries to fight back. But Corbin quickly reverse and throws Styles down with a high-impact move.

Corbin is punching a prone AJ with multiple shots. Baron props Styles on the top rope for a suplex, but Styles reverses, pulls down Corbin and hits the bigger man with the Pele kick.

Styles hits Corbin with a flurry of offense and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

AJ is just about to hit Corbin with a Phenomenal Forearm, but Kevin Owens gets up from the announcer’s booth and walks towards Styles. AJ kicks KO in the head. But when Styles enters the ring, The Lone Wolf goes on the hunt!

Chad Gable tries to put away his opponent but jump-street. American Alpha is completely dominating The Colóns. But you can’t keep the veteran team down for too long. The Colóns battle back!

It loos like Primo & Epico are about to finish off Gable with a double-team move, but Jason Jordan makes the save with a chop block. American Alpha hits their own double team move that looks absolutely sick!

No Disqualification match: Randy Orton vs. Erick Rowan

Rowan pushes Orton into the corner. Randy fights back with a kick and a clothesline. But Erick lands on his feet like a cat.

There is plenty of back-and-forth action, but Randy really has the upper-hand in this match. Orton knocks Rowan through a table and later sends the big man charging into steel steps.

Rowan places a chair in the corner and tries to end Orton. But Randy is too savy. As Rowan charges, Orton counters and Erick lands headfirst into the chair. Randy capitalizes on the dazed Rowan and hits him with an RKO.

Post-match: Randy Orton says he doesn’t know what a House of Horrors match is, but he’ll be ready for Wyatt this Sunday night.

Jinder Mahal’s music hits. Out comes “Hard Body Mahal” who runs his mouth, upset about how Orton failed to mention the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. The crowd chants “USA! USA! USA!” at the wrestler with Indian heritage. Mahal says that the crowd doesn’t like him because of what he looks like. The crowd stops with their nationalistic pride chants, and starts chanting for “RKO” instead.

Jinder Mahal throws the first punch at Randy. But the veteran Orton quickly gains the upper-hand on Mahal. And then out of nowhere, The Singh Brothers a.k.a. The Bollywood Boys hold down Randy. Mahal capitalizes and takes out Orton.

Texas Republican senator Ted Cruz proposed a new bill that would force cash seized from Mexican drug lords, including El Chapo, to cover the cost of Donald Trump’s border wall.

The new proposal was introduced on Tuesday, April 24, by former Republican presidential nominee Ted Cruz as part of the Texas Republican’s EL CHAPO Bill.

The bill’s title, which is not only the nickname of the infamous Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman, also stands for “Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order.”

Cruz’s proposal calls for the U.S. government to seek $14 billion from Guzman while also trying to obtain funds from other drug lords to cover the cost of building the wall and securing the border.

Cruz’s suggestion may offer an innovative way for Trump to work around his difficulties getting Congress or Mexico to fund his longtime campaign promise. Mexico’s chief diplomat has long said the country would play no part in helping to build the wall, calling it a “hostile” act. Congress, meanwhile, has balked at Trump’s efforts to include funding in a must-pass government spending bill this week.

Some analysts have also raised doubts about whether El Chapo’s assets actually reach as high as $14 billion, though most predict his fortune is in the billions.Even beyond the funding issues, most Texas Republicans in Congress have expressed opposition to the idea of building a wall along the state’s southern border, urging the president to use a more “holistic approach” to border security.

The estimated cost of Trump’s proposed wall has varied depending on the source. Trump says that the wall will cost $10 billion, while some experts predict it could cost up to $25 billion, and other Democrats have put the price tag at $66.9 billion.

You know what I love most about Gregg Popovich? Ya know, other than his legendary coaching status, electric sideline interviews, gruff exterior/kind interior combo, eccentric sense of humor, yada, yada, yada?

What I love most about Gregg Popovich is that he makes Bill Belichick look like a total f*cking asshole. Popovich is walking, talking proof that you can be a genius and the greatest of a generation (and possibly of all time) without being a condescending prick. Popovich is every bit as great as Belichick, yet he doesn’t parade around as though he’s better than everyone like Belichick does.

So, it came as no surprise when I found out that Popovich is slinging around thousands of dollars in tip money while traveling with his team.

Shelley Dufresne, a 34-year-old married mother of three and English teacher, pleaded guilty in 2015 to having sex multiple times with a then 16-year-old student in Destrehan, Louisiana.

What Happened?

Explicit details about Dufresne’s relationship with the student – and about an alleged threesome that took place between her, another high school teacher and the student – emerged Tuesday.

Dufresne was the student’s 11th grade English teacher at Destrehan High School. She is charged with two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. If convicted she could see as many as 10 years in jail and a $5,000 fine. In addition, she would have to register as a sex offender in Jefferson Parish.

Tuesday’s trial revealed that Dufresne and the student had sexual encounters after football practice as many as 40 times in her Honda Pilot and at her home. The legal age of consent in Louisiana is 17.

One sexual tryst allegedly included fellow teacher Rachel Respess, 26.

On September 19, 2014 Dufresne was out for drinks at a bar with colleagues after a football game.

The teen was also at the bar with some other football players. One of his friends questioned if the affair with Dufrense that he had been boasting about was real.

This led to a fight outside according to Nola.com and afterwards, the teen and Dufrense went to Respess’s apartment.

The two allegedly had sex several times at the apartment with Respess joining in for a threesome at one point. However, Dufrense’s attorney said there was no sex because the student “couldn’t get an erection,” though the teen maintains the three all had sex.

The teen filmed a lewd video of Respess after she passed out from drinking. The New Orleans Advocate reports the footage showed the student put his “private parts in her face.”

The student said that was the final time he had sex with either teacher. Soon after, he showed the video to teammates in the football locker room and word soon spread to school officials who investigated the incident.

It was also revealed that Dufresne communicated with the student through a fake Facebook account ‘Madison Mexicano.’ She used a photo of the cartoon character Speedy Gonzalez.

She alluded to the affair with the Mexican student with the cover photo that read “I love Mexican boys.”

What Happened?

Sarah Villafañe described the event in a lengthy Facebook post (it’s a well deserved rant) and shared a photo of the outfit she wore to the gym. Check it out.

The post has since gone viral and it’s easy to see why. This is a crime against humanity. For shame, College of Charleston, for shame.

The dress code at the George Street Fitness Center states that gym-goers must wear “athletic attire,” which includes T-shirts, running shoes, sneakers, shorts or pants, according to The Post and Courier. But, dude, c’mon…I saw worse dress code violations at my senior prom.

College of Charleston spokesman Mike Robertson, who seems like a very repressed individual, told the newspaper that the rules and dress code at the fitness center are posted on a bulletin board located near the front door. But neither the rules nor the dress code specifically address midriff-exposing shirts…ipso facto, the school is full of it.

Robertson explained (read: dodged the issue) that the rule about wearing a T-shirt is aimed at reducing the skin’s contact with gym equipment for “sanitary reasons.” He added that it applies equally to both men and women.

In an update to her post on Facebook, Villafañe wrote: “The gym has since said that they kicked me out for ‘sanitary concerns.’ However, they never made those sanitary concerns clear when they asked me to change.

“They told me I need ‘more coverage’ and nothing more. Not to mention, their website has no written dress code anyway.

“The dress code at the front of the gym simply says ‘Athletic wear must be worn.’ I would say that what I’m wearing (whether you believe it’s a sports bra or a crop top) is completely normal and considered athletic wear.”

In an interview with TODAY, she said there’s a double standard when it comes to attire at the school gym.

“Many people have told me that they have seen girls wearing similar outfits to mine in the CofC gym, as well as men wearing muscle tees that expose their midriffs,” she said.

“It is interesting to me that the men I have seen wearing jeans in the gym (a quite obvious violation of their one dress code rule, ‘Athletic attire must be worn’) were not bothered or kicked out for not abiding by the dress code rules.”

Here’s a quick little anecdote for you to wrap your head around: an American company selling Mexican food will begin serving beer in… Canada. Is that racist? That’s not for me to decide.

If you’ve read any of my articles before, you know my distaste for a select group of fast food franchises can border on ironic. I don’t really hate these places so much (looking at you Taco Bell, Subway, McDonald’s, and KFC), I just enjoy hating on these places. It’s therapeutic.

But this isn’t a case of irrational hate, this is a case of Taco Bell completely disregarding the American people. Um, excuse me, but didn’t America basically invent beer? Not really. But we sure as hell perfected it. Plus, with recent White House developments, Taco Bell should be trying to suck up to the American people as much as possible. President Trump strikes me as the type who would think Taco Bell is a legitimately Mexican franchise and try to find a way to make them pay for the wall. Hell, Ted Cruz just proposed a bill to have El Chapo’s fortune pay for the wall, so it seems as though literally anything f*cking goes at this point.

So, wake the hell up Taco Bell and start serving beer to the customers who deserve it. You think you’d be able to pedal horse meat for half a century without the American public? I didn’t think so.

Taco Bell Canada made the announcements Tuesday, saying it plans to more than triple in size over the next five to 10 years to 700 locations, from a current outlet count of 170 across the country.

The addition of beer to the menu comes after years of anemic fast-food sales in Canada, which averaged 1.8 per cent per year between 2011 and 2016, with so-called “fast-casual” chains accounting for the bulk of sales growth.

“Beer is something that goes well with Mexican food,” says Amanda Clark, general manager of Taco Bell Canada. The new concept will look and feel a bit more upscale, with local artwork on the walls, an open kitchen, and larger servings of some dishes so customers can share, Clark said, in addition to the core menu items.

“Sometimes, fast-food gets the rap of ‘get in and get out’,” Clark says. “The look and feel is going to be nothing like we’ve seen (at Taco Bell in Canada) before. We want people to stay a while. This will be a place to come in with your friends, enjoy shareable plates, and the environment will facilitate conversation and staying longer.”

What excellent news to wake up to on this rainy Wednesday. Beast Mode is returning to the NFL.

Marshawn Lynch, the former Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks running back, is set to come out of retirement to play for the Oakland Raiders. His rights had to be traded to Oakland since they were owned by Seattle before his retirement.

Lynch and the Raiders have an agreement in place, according to league sources, and he is in Oakland’s training facility Wednesday to undergo a physical. Assuming he passes, the Raiders and Seahawks are expected to finalize the swap that would send Lynch to his hometown of Oakland.

Lynch had been in active negotiations with the Raiders over the past month after deciding to seek reinstatement to the NFL, league sources previously told ESPN’s Ed Werder.

Lynch, who was famously born and raised in Oakland, retired following the 2015 season. Lynch will be playing for the Raiders during their last two years in California before moving to Las Vegas.

Lynch, a five-time NFL Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro in 2012, led the NFL with 12 rushing touchdowns in 2013 and 13 rushing touchdowns in 2014 and ran for at least 1,200 yards in four straight seasons from 2011 through 2014.

The 2017 TIME 100 Gala went down in New York on Tuesday, April 25, and all the world’s biggest stars came out to party.

From Demi Lovato to Megyn Kelly to Blake Lively and Margot Robbie, some of the world’s most beautiful people were in attendance last night. Now, while we weren’t lucky enough to be there, people with cameras were, so we’ll just have to live vicariously through these photos.

A controversial flier found at the University of Texas at Arlington campus asking “white Americans” to report “any and all” illegal immigrants has caused outrage amongst students.

The university has decided it will be taking down the fliers after students reported finding them on a university message board.

The posters, which include a link to the website of the white supremacist group Vanguard America, call on ‘white Americans’ to turn in unauthorized immigrants to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The poster also says that “America is a white nation.”

The group behind the message appears to be protesting the possibility of UTA becoming a “sanctuary campus.” The term “sanctuary city” refers to cities that follow certain procedures to shelter illegal immigrants.

“I feel like it’s ignorant people trying to incite some sort of rally or some sort of riot to get people off campus or get people to go to their way,” said student Kasandra Moreno. “But with such a diverse campus, it doesn’t make sense to do that here.”

The fliers include the website of “Vanguard America,” a white supremacist group, but it’s still unclear if members are responsible for the fliers. CBS 11 did not receive a reply from the group when asked about the notice.

While a university spokesman says there was more than one flier on campus, it is unclear when the posters first popped up and exactly how many appeared on campus.

According to a statement from the school, the university’s flier policy prohibits obscene or libelous material, unauthorized commercial solicitation, material that advocates the deliberate violation of any federal, state or local law, or incites or produces imminent lawless action.

The Vanguard America posters had not been approved by the Office of Student Activities and Organizations and were removed Monday, April 24.

Beginning Tuesday, April 25, and continuing throughout the week, Tri-State area first-responders will be participating in a response drill to a hypothetical nuclear explosion called Operation Gotham Shield.

According to FEMA spokeswoman Lauren Lefebvre, the purpose of the exercise is “to expand the ability at local and national levels to coordinate an effect a large-scale response and recovery to an event like this.”

It is to be a “notional” exercise in which emergency responders respond theoretically to an unfolding nuclear event scenario in which all levels of government are in communication and playing a role.

The drill is not a response to the recent tensions between the United States and North Korea, or any international incident, since it has been in the planning stages for a year, Lefebvre said.

Gotham Shield is to begin on Tuesday and run through the week. It is believed that “ground zero” for the theoretical nuclear explosion is West New York.

The New Jersey EMS Task Force erected a giant medical reception area outside of Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford to triage and treat thousands of would-be patients. At the center, thousands of imaginary victims of a nuclear incident will be triaged, decontaminated, treated for injuries including burns and transported, Mickey McCabe said this morning.

Ambulance response teams from all over the tri-state area respond to Metlife. Furthermore, helicopters and ambulance buses with the capacity to transport about 400 patients will be involved. The EMS response center will operate from about 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Officials involved in Operation Gotham Shield says the event has nothing to do with the situation in North Korea, as the event has been in the works for some time.

Doesn’t get much worse than embarrassing yourself in front of your girl’s parents.

A 16-year-old high school student in Moody, Texas was charged on Monday with felony counts of assault on a public servant, harassment of a public servant and obstruction or retaliation after he allegedly urinated in his teacher’s drinking cup.

What Happened?

The 16-year-old student, who could not be identified because he is a juvenile, allegedly peed in his Moody High School teacher’s drinking cup on April 13.

“She didn’t find out about it until after the fact,” Moody Police Chief Roger Kennedy told the Waco Tribune-Herald. ‘She thinks she (drank) it but she doesn’t know 100 percent, because according to her statement, she made the comment that the water fountain always tastes funny.”

Students began circulating the story around the classroom until later that day when two of them alerted the teacher, police said. She then immediately emptied the cup.

The Moody High School principal interviewed students and reviewed security camera footage while investigating. They disciplined the student on April 18 while police continued to dig.

“We did charge him with three different offenses,” Chief Kennedy noted.

“Unfortunately, students will make poor decisions at times,” Moody Independent School District superintendent Gary Martel said in a statement.

“The district cannot keep all poor decisions from happening on our campuses but we will follow district policy so there are consequences and punitive results for those who choose to make bad decisions at school,” Martel continued.

“We will continue focusing on the large majority of our students who are making great choices and being great role models each day.”

Apparently, the answer is yes because, for whatever reason, I feel like Brie Larson is WILDLY underrated.

First, before I opine about how wildly attractive she is, we must first admire her craft — her acting.

Y’all ever seen Room? Goddamn what a movie. Few actors, male or female, could make a movie about a 10×8 room downright exhilarating. That movie had me BAWLING, which is rare, ’cause I usually only cry after Mets and Jets losses.

How about The Spectacular Now? Grade-A chick-flick with Miles Teller. Point is, not only is Larson stunning, but she can absolutely act her ass off with the rest of them.

After spending much of 2016 filming, Larson is back in the public spotlight with two movies already dropping in 2017: Kong: Skull Island (bomb) and Free Fire (I hear it’s bomb). So naturally, she’s been making all the media and red carpet rounds looking fine as all hell.

SPECIFICALLY in this fire Vanity Fair cover story, which labels her as Hollywood’s most independent young star.

Independent, dependent, I don’t care — just make sure we’re getting as much Brie Larson in our lives as possible.

In some absolutely fantastic news, it’s been announced that Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role of Dr. Ian Malcolm for the Jurassic World sequel. Malcolm outwitted those hungry, prehistoric sons of bitches in both the original and GOAT Jurassic Park in 1993 and the first sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997. Now our favorite chest-baring, wisecracking doctor is back because as he thought us 24 years ago, “life finds a way.”

Here’s the Hollywood Reporter with more details on who will be involved in the Jurassic World sequel.

J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the next installment in the studio’s hit franchise. Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history.

Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel, which also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the follow-up with Derek Connolly. The film is slated for release on June 22, 2018.

Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again join executive producers Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow in the next chapter of the franchise. Belén Atienza is also producing. Universal vp production Sara Scott is overseeing production on behalf of the studio.

All of these developments are music to my ears, as it definitely seems like we will be blessed with another highly entertaining chapter in this beloved franchise. Let’s celebrate our good fortune with some of Dr. Ian Malcom’s greatest hits.

Jonathan Demme passed away this morning in New York at the age of 73. Via IndieWire, here’s the sad news on the death of the beloved director.

The cause was esophageal cancer and complications from heart disease, according to a source close to the family. He was originally treated for the disease in 2010, but suffered from a recurrence in 2015, and his condition deteriorated in recent weeks.

This is a major bummer, as Demme had an amazing and versatile career in show business. He is best known for directing the 1991 classic The Silence of the Lambs, and he won the Oscar for Best Director for crafting such a spectacular film. You can watch Demme’s acceptance speech at the 1992 Oscars in the video below.

Some of the other notable films that Demme directed were Melvin and Howard (1980), Something Wild (1986), Married to the Mob (1988), Philadelphia (1993), The Manchurian Candidate (2004), and Rachel Getting Married (2008).

He also directed the concert films and documentaries Stop Making Sense (1984), Neil Young: Heart of Gold (2006), Neil Young Trunk Show (2009), Neil Young Journeys (2011), and Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids (2016). Demme even wrote and directed for Saturday Night Live from 1980-1986, as he was truly a master of all trades.

Demme is survived by his wife Joanne Howard and their three children, and I’m going to crank this up to dangerous levels to honor the career and life of an insanely talented man. Rest in peace, Jonathan Demme.

Demme maintained a private personal life, but his career was marked by a remarkably versatile creative output that included acclaimed narratives and documentaries films stretching back to the early ’70s. He made his debut with the 1971 biker film “Angels Hard as They Come,” a Roger Corman production during the B-movie producer’s heyday, but his career reached another plane of critical and commercial success with a string of ’80s dramas, including “Melvin and Howard, “Swing Shift,” and “Something Wild.”

Demme reached a new plane of success in the next decade, with the back-to-back releases of “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Philadelphia.” At the same time, he remained an active documentarian, creating the definitive Talking Heads film “Stop Making Sense,” in addition to three films with Neil Young.

More recently, Demme directed the Meryl Streep comedy “Ricki and the Flash” in 2015 and the concert documentary “Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids” in 2016. He was reportedly in pre-production on a new project, and continued to curate series at the Jacob Burns Film Center, where he was the chairman of the board. His last series was “Saddle Up Saturdays,” a westerns retrospective that ran through March 2017.

Sarah Villafañe, a 19-year-old South Carolina college student, has expressed her displeasure after university staff members kicked her out of the campus gym due to the crop top she was wearing, saying she needed ‘full coverage’ while exercising.

Villafañe, a sophomore at the College of Charleston, described the situation in a Facebook post where she shared a photo of the outfit that she wore to the gym that day.

‘So I just got kicked out of the College of Charleston student gym for wearing this outfit. Like not allowed to work out. Not allowed to because of THIS OUTFIT THAT I BOUGHT SPECIFICALLY TO WORK OUT IN. I’ve worn this same outfit all day. Went to 3 classes and spoke personally with each of my professors today and they didn’t have a problem. But when I walked into the gym they asked me to put on a different shirt.’

According to the Post and Courier, the dress code at the George Street Fitness Center stipulates that gym-goers must wear “athletic attire,” which includes T-shirts, running shoes, sneakers, shorts or pants. Clothing or jewelry that “compromises the safety of a participant or may possibly damage the equipment” is banned.

Mike Robertson, a spokesman for the College of Charleston, said the fitness center’s rules and dress code are posted on a bulletin board near the front door doesn’t explicitly mention midriff-exposing shirts. Roberston mentioned a study conducted by the National Athletic Trainers Association that warns of skin diseases that can be contracted at a gym.

During an interview with TODAY, Villafañe said she believes there is a double standard when it comes to gym attire at the university.

‘Many people have told me that they have seen girls wearing similar outfits to mine in the CofC gym, as well as men wearing muscle tees that expose their midriffs,’ she said.

‘It is interesting to me that the men I have seen wearing jeans in the gym (a quite obvious violation of their one dress code rule, ‘Athletic attire must be worn’) were not bothered or kicked out for not abiding by the dress code rules.’

What Happened?

Newsweek released a report suggesting that a potential motive behind Hernandez’s killing of Odin Lloyd was to conceal his bisexuality. Earlier this week, Hernandez’s lawyer Jose Baez said that any claims about the former New England Patriots star being gay are untrue.

“Rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false. These are malicious leaks used to tarnish somebody who is dead,” Baez told TMZ Sports.

Now, Kennedy and his family have issued their own statements regarding Hernandez’s suicide.

Kennedy’s family’s statement reads: “Our thoughts right now are with Aaron Hernandez’s family, as well as our son. We understand the broad public interest in this case, but we ask for privacy as we learn the facts.”

Here’s Kennedy’s own statement via his attorney:

“My client is obviously saddened by the loss of his friend, Aaron Hernandez. I met with him briefly today at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center and I am just learning the facts surrounding the situation.”

“The facts are that my client and Mr. Hernandez were not cellmates. Mr. Hernandez was housed in a single cell.”

“Also, a letter was left to me client but neither I, nor my client, have seen the letter. We will be requesting that the letter be turned over to my client as soon as possible.”

“Lastly, my client is no longer on suicide watch. The decision to move him to a protective unit was a standard precaution, but my client did not and has not exhibited any dangerous or risky behavior as a result of this situation. I will be meeting with Kyle more in the coming days and will provide updates as information develops.”

Aaron Josef Hernandez was an American football tight end. Hernandez played college football at the University of Florida, where he was a member of a BCS National Championship team and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd on June 26, 2013.

In April 2015, Hernandez was sentenced to life without parole for the murder. In April 2017, he committed suicide in his cell.
