Waner Bros. dropped the first international trailer for Justice League this morning, and similar to the first trailer … it looks quite awesome. But when it comes to Zack Snyder, we’ve all learned by now that we shouldn’t trust a gorgeous trailer. While it’s certainly a step in the right direction, it guarantees nothing in terms of the film’s quality.

To be honest, even if this movie stinks, I’m starting to get the vibe that Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is worth the price of entry for all these movies.

Zack Snyder (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) returns to unite DC Comics’ most legendary superheroes together as a team for the first time in movie theaters. Yes, Superman (Henry Cavill) is still technically “dead,” but he’ll return sometime in the near future to join the squad. In the meantime, Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) have enough superhero juice blow stuff up in IMAX and thwart whatever potential enemies may come from Bruce Wayne’s Knightmare vision from Batman v Superman.

Amanda Crew, 30, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Monica Hall on the HBO comedy Silicon Valley (which, if you haven’t seen, you should definitely check it out. It’s hilarious). Some of her other notable roles include Final Destination 3 (2006), Sex Drive (2008) and Charlie St. Cloud (2010).

Crew was born in Langley, British Columbia (don’t judge her for her Canadianness, guys). She made her professional acting debut in 2005 at age 19 when she played Polly Brewer in the ABC teen drama Life as We Know It. From there, Crew earned a handful of small but solid roles in films such as John Tucker Must Die and She’s The Man. Her breakout, of course, came when she was cast in Silicon Valley back in 2014.

Bryson Williams, a 15-year-old teenager, is raising money to buy his grandparents’ Arizona home after they’ve encountered financial hardships and can no longer afford to live there.

Williams created the GoFundMe page where he explains that his grandparents, who live in Litchfield Park, Arizona and are full-time caretakers for his great-grandfather, were forced to list the home they’ve lived in for roughly 14 years for sale. Williams’ grandparents have lived in the Litchfield Park home since 2003, even having to rebuild it in 2005 after a fire.

Williams says that if he does not raise enough to save the home itself, he will donate whatever he makes to his grandparents’ moving costs.

Conor McGregor is the biggest star in the UFC at just 28-years-old. He is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion and former UFC Featherweight Champion. He’s also competed at Welterweight. Darryl Rudolph, the father of Florida State wide receiver and NFL Draft prospect Travis Rudolph, was killed in what police are calling an accidental shooting last Friday. He was 55.

What Happened?

Darryl Rudolph, a repairman, was working in a nightclub Friday morning. Police say that a club employee in an adjacent room moved a loaded gun off a shelf when it fired accidentally. Rudolph was struck and killed and while police are still investigating, officials say there is no reason to believe the shooting was intentional.

Rudolph was found with a gunshot wound to his back and neck area in a back storage room. He was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where he later died.

The incident occurred at Sugar D’s Adult Cabaret shortly before 9:30 A.M. EST on Friday, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Travis Rudolph

Travis Rudolph played three seasons at FSU and finished his college football career as a top 10 receiver in school history, with 153 receptions (seventh) and 2,311 yards receiving (eighth). He also scored 18 career touchdowns, tied for 13th on FSU’s all-time list.

Rudolph made national headlines last year for his kindness off the field when he visited a Tallahassee middle school and sat with an autistic student who was eating lunch by himself on day. Rudolph and the young boy, Bo Paske, kept in touch throughout the year and Paske’s mother wrote on Facebook how thankful she was for Rudolph’s kindness.

Rudolph is projected to be a fifth- or sixth-round pick in the NFL Draft, which begins Thursday in Philadelphia.

A 3-alarm fire has broken out in College Park, Maryland near the University of Maryland. Firefighters are on the scene to battle the blaze.

UPDATE 1:00 P.M. – The University of Maryland is closing school due to poor air quality resulting from the nearby fire.

What Happened?

Crews are responding to a three-alarm fire at a building in College Park, Md., said fire officials. The fire is reported in the 4700 block of Berwyn House Road. Fire officials say the building is under construction. Smoke was seen pouring from the fifth floor. Streets around the area have been blocked to traffic as emergency crews are responding.

One side of the building has been ordered to evacuate.

“This building is under construction so it doesn’t have an alarm or sprinkler system hooked up yet,” department spokesman Mark Brady said. “This fire was way ahead of us upon our arrival.”

Brady said a sprinkler system may have been installed at the time, but that it wasn’t functional, adding, “That’s one of the last things to be made functional [in construction].” Brady estimated between 120 and 130 firefighters are working to contain the fire. The Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Howard and Prince George’s County fire departments all sent units.

The fire broke out at a six-story, 275-unit apartment building, Fuse 47 apartments.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.

The prisoner who Aaron Hernandez wrote before his shocking suicide has been identified as 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy.

Kyle Kennedy, prisoner number W107335, was the last person to see the former New England Patriots tight end alive and is now on suicide watch inside the maximum security Souza-Baranowski Corrections Center. Kennedy is also the prisoner who Hernandez gave a $50,000 watch and other property shortly before his suicide. Kennedy is the son of a businessman from Uxbridge, Massachusetts.

According to the Milford Daily News, Kennedy was arrested in January 2015 after a robbery at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Northbridge, Massachusetts. He was wearing a black mask and carrying ‘a long butcher-style knife,’and only got away with $189.

An Uxbridge man accused of armed robbery tried to elude authorities twice in the past three days – first in a high-speed chase on Rte. 146 and later on foot, through suburban yards.

In both cases, police captured Kyle Kennedy, 20, of 81 Eber Taft Road, who was arraigned Tuesday on charges of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon, as well as escaping a municipal lockup, speeding and operating to endanger.

Kennedy was held on $15,000 bail on three different cases after the court entered not-guilty pleas on his behalf.

Daily Mail attempted to reach Kennedy’s parents for comments, however, they refused.

When approached at his home at the end of a leafy cul-de-sac, Kennedy’s stepmother Deborah, refused to comment and drove in through the automatic gates.

Within minutes his father Matthew, 42, ran out of the home, which is set on more than four acres of land, and furiously berated a DailyMail.com team sitting on a public road outside his house, yelling: ‘Get the f**k away and don’t f**king come back.’

Aaron Hernandez left three handwritten notes before he hanged himself in prison. The notes were for his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, his four-year-old daughter, and the final note was for Kennedy, who is also now on suicide watch.

Convicted murderer and former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his Massachusetts prison cell on the morning of Wednesday, April 19,  just days after he was acquitted in a separate murder case. Hernandez killed himself the day his former team, the New England Patriots, are scheduled to visit the White House for their Super Bowl Visit.

The 27-year-old former NFL star hung himself with a bedsheet attached to a window in his Souza-Baranowski prison cell in Shirley, Massachusettes. Hernandez’s body was found at 3:05 AM on Wednesday morning.

The corrections department released a statement on Hernandez’s death saying, “Lifesaving techniques were attempted on Mr. Hernandez, and he was transported to UMass Leominster, where he was pronounced dead at 4:07 A.M.”

If you’re a fan of quality television and you don’t know who Carrie Coon is than you’re not a real fan, my friend. Coon is one of the most talented actresses on the small screen right now and elevates any show she’s in. It also doesn’t hurt that she’s uniquely beautiful.

Coon, 36, is best known for her role as Nora Durst in HBO’s The Leftovers (third season airing now and it’s fantastic) where she absolutely crushes it (and gets naked a couple times in the first season). Though The Leftovers is unrelentingly depressing, Coon manages to liven things up with her deft performance and downright hotness. Double thumbs up for pulling that off.

The actress has also dabbled in big screen work as well. Coon played Margo Dunne (Ben Affleck’s sister) in Davind Fincher’s Gone Girl. Appearing in a Fincher film definitely qualifies as a resume builder.

Coon is also playing one of the lead roles in the third season of FX’s Fargo. The critically acclaimed drama is one of the best shows on television, giving Coon a foothold in two of TV’s top offerings at the same time. Basically, 2017 is the Year of Carrie and we absolutely love it.

Police have shut down part of 16th Street NW because a man called and said there was a bomb in a building Monday morning, according to a report.

What Happened?

UPDATE 12:15 PM: Police may be investigating a suspicious package as well in the area of 16th and I streets near the AFL-CIO building, according to a Fox 5 reporter.

According to The Washington Post, police are investigating in the 800 block of 16th Street NW, which is located near the White House and Lafayette Square.

Police say that a man called and claimed that there was a bomb in a building.

According to reports, up to three people were shot by an unknown assailant at a building on the 8300 block of 635LBJ Freeway, between Skillman and Royal Lane. Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that two ambulances were dispatched to reports of people shot at the same address.

Dozens of officers have responded to the scene. The exact conditions of those who have been shot are unknown at this time.

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said police and firefighters were dispatched to the building on the Interstate 635 service road near Schroeder Road at about 10:45 A.M.

Y’all heading to the movie theater to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2? What am I saying? Of course you are! The Marvel movie is the official kickoff of the summer blockbuster movie season and everyone should be hyped. More specifically, everyone should be hyped to see Zoe Saldana once again.

Saldana, 38, is the absolutely drop dead gorgeous American actress and dancer who plays the role of Gamora. But you probably know Saldana from a bunch of different big time movies. She’s had starring roles in Avatar (2009), Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Star Trek Beyond (2016). Yeah, she’s no stranger to tentpoles in Hollywood.

Saldana was born in New Jersey and spent her early childhood growing up in Jackson Heights, New York before moving to the Dominican Republic when she was nine. She made her professional debut in 1999 in an episode of Law & Order. Her first film role came in 2000’s Center Stage and she followed that up with roles in Crossroads (2002), Drumline (2002) and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).

Her true breakout was 2009’s Star Trek where she took on the iconic role of Nyota Uhura. In fact, 2009 was a huge year for the actress as she also starred in James Cameron’s Avatar, which is the highest-grossing film of all time with $2.7 billion at the worldwide box office.

Saldana is married to Italian artist Marco Perego.

Carmelo Anthony has been the subject of trade talks for quite some time now, with whispers suggesting he could’ve been moved at the trade deadline just a few months ago.

Anthony’s future with the New York Knicks is in serious doubt, and a move this offseason seems likelier with each passing press conference. Phil Jackson has not been shy with his opinion on the matter, even going as far as saying Anthony “would be better somewhere else.” Clearly, there’s no love for Melo even as he’s kept the floundering Knicks somewhat relevant during his New York tenure.

Anthony might not be the player he used to be, but he can still serve as a key piece on a competitive team trying to make some noise in the playoffs. With that, let’s take a look at the top five teams that should trade for Carmelo Anthony this off-season.

5. Toronto Raptors

Could you just imagine that backcourt next season? The Raptors could elevate themselves from a solid Eastern Conference playoff team to possible conference champion favorites. DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry, and Melo could become a lethal trio.

Anthony even mentioned back in 2016 during the NBA’s all-star weekend that he was a big fan of Toronto. This also wouldn’t be the first time the three mentioned joining forces, as they all won a gold medal together in the 2016 Olympics. Trading for Melo would completely change the Eastern Conference and offer a strong competitor to take down the Cavaliers come playoff time.

4. Cleveland Cavaliers

There isn’t a blatant need for Anthony’s talents in Cleveland, but we all know Melo wants a ring. LeBron James and Anthony have been long-time friends and former teammates on previous Olympic teams. And we can’t completely ignore this year’s trade rumors involving Kevin Love for Anthony.

Supposedly, James was the one pushing for that trade to get Melo in February, but that was never confirmed. Either way, the Cavs would have a lot of top-end talent with Anthony. Melo has suffered through some miserable Knicks teams in recent years and deserves a chance to compete somewhere.

The Eastern Conference contenders would be absolutely terrified of this trade, as James, Anthony, and co. would be clear favorites to once again appear in the finals.

3. Washington Wizards

This scenario makes a ton of sense. If Anthony doesn’t want to make it seem like he’s running to LeBron for a title, he could try to take him down with the Wizards. Washington has been one of the main threats in the East this year and Melo would be able to push them to the next level.

John Wall has continued his ascension this season and has been playing lights out in the playoffs so far. Add Melo into the mix with Bradley Beal, and you’ve got yourself one scary lineup. The Wizards are one star away from being real contenders.

One last thing: Melo grew up in Baltimore, so there could be some hometown love there.

2. Boston Celtics

Who would’ve thought the Celtics would claim the top seed in the East? Now, picture Carmelo Anthony pairing up with Isaiah Thomas. Despite the incredible regular season, the Celtics have been having a tough time in the playoffs due to their lack of a true star.

Overall, the Celtics have a good lineup, but it’s not great. Boston has been led by Thomas, who has performed unbelievably this season. He needs some help though, and that’s where Melo comes in. Despite having the better record, experts still have Cleveland as the favorites in the East. Snagging Anthony could change that next year.

The Celtics have a lot of young talent and are set to receive a top draft pick from the Brooklyn Nets this summer. Add an elite talent from the college level and Melo to this already stout team and all of a sudden the East gets a lot more interesting.

1. Los Angeles Clippers

This was a potential trade situation that almost happened this past season, and it would be awesome. There has always been one piece missing from the Clippers that has held them back in the playoffs each season. That missing piece is an elite small forward.

Some will say Melo’s best basketball is behind him, and that’s probably true, but he’s still pretty damn good. All the other spots in the starting lineup are set with Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, and J.J. Redick. The Clippers need a more capable three to take them to the next level.

That starting lineup would be nasty, and Chris Paul and Melo already have some chemistry. Back around the trade deadline, Anthony also said that he would agree to decline his no-trade clause for Los Angeles. The biggest question would be how the whole team would mold together, but on paper, this team could be a powerhouse in the West and finally make the next leap in the playoffs.

North Korea has continued to test their missile capabilities despite pleas from Washington and China to stop. All the while, anti-US rhetoric on state-run North Korean television has made it abundantly clear, that “don’t f*ck with North Korea because we got missiles and we know how to use ’em.”

As a result of this international hostility, the US conducted military defense drills with the Japanese and South Korean Navies. The United States is making their military presence clear in East Asia. They sent their newest F-35 stealth fighters to train with our South Korean allies. The US and South Korea conducted the second largest military exercise, known as “Max Thunder,” which sorta sounds like an ’80s action film.

The United States has also sent the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson to the Korean Peninsula. Meanwhile, North Korean state-run media outlet Korean Central News Agency described the deployment of this carrier as “nothing but a reckless action of aggression to aggravate the tensions in the region.”

President Trump believes that China’s leadership can help curb North Korea’s military and nuclear developments. He met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in early April. But right before their meeting, a ballistic missile was fired off of the Korean Peninsula into the Sea of Japan.

North Korea asserted their military might once more last Saturday during the military parade, as they publicly showed off their yuge missiles during the Day of the Sun parade.

Trump has made it clear that the United States is willing to act alone on North Korea. But it doesn’t look like the US is alone with their North Korean military concerns. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman from Beijing feels gravely concerned with North Korea’s growing military threat. Spokesperson Lu Kang said, “China’s position on opposing a nuclear-capable (North Korea) is firm, clear and consistent.”

What’s going on in North Korea?

Recently, a musical was conducted in North Korea, celebrating the birth of their founding father Kim II Sung. The musical ended with a video clip, which shows missiles hitting US cities and ends with a burning American flag.

North Korean state media tells their audience that the United States and South Korea would be “completely destroyed in an instant” if a preemptive military strike is ordered against their communist country.

How is China responding to this hostility?

Last week, China put their cruise missile bombers on high alert, possibly in preparation for a military altercation with North Korea. A great number of Chinese military aircraft has been brought up to full readiness.

“China firmly opposes any words or actions that would escalate rivalry and tension,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang.

Earlier this year, China played negotiator between the U.S. and North Korea. China wanted each country to each give up something that the other side finds antagonizing. For example, Chinese leadership said that US and South Korea should suspend annual military exercises that bothers Kim Jong Un’s regime. In exchange, North Korea should halt its nuclear program.

Last Saturday, Kim’s country launched a failed missile test. In the last five years, that country has launched more than 50 ballistic missiles. That is more than double the amount of missile tests his father Kim Jong-il conducted during his entire reign as supreme leader of North Korea.

What is Russia doing?

Meanwhile, Russia has moved its military equipment towards its border with North Korea. On Saturday and Sunday (April 15-16), heavy military equipment was seen heading south of the Khabarovsk-Vladivostok highway. Helicopters and armored personal carriers were on the move, according to Vostok Media.

Sex in college is like drinking beer or eating Ramen noodles. It just happens and there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s going down. While most colleges try to accommodate this phenomenon by handing out condoms, UC Davis is taking it one step forward. The Cali school has installed a vending machine on campus that sells Plan B.

Plan B is a much better alternative to both condoms, which suck, and unprotected sex. No one wants to be sweating a pregnancy test at 18 and no freshman wants to drunkenly wrestle with a condom during a 2:00 A.M. booty call. UC Davis just changed the whole pick up game with this move.

Don’t expect to find filling snacks or thirst quenching drinks inside UC Davis’ newest vending machine.

Instead, the university is offering a quick fix for that late night or early morning contraceptive need.

The vending machine inside the campus Activities and Recreation Center offers the morning after pill for $30, along with an assortment of other contraceptive items like condoms and pregnancy tests.

UC Davis senior Parteek Singh came up with the idea after a friend was unable to buy the morning after pill in a timely manner.

“They were all out of emergency contraceptives and they weren’t going to get anything until Monday,” Singh said.

The vending machine is open 18 hours a day and is only inaccessible when the building shuts down between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

The only other place contraception is sold on campus is in the Student Health and Wellness Center, which is only open during business hours.

The university also deserves credit for that $30 asking price, with the average morning after pill running around $50. Not only is the school throwing out alley-oop lob passes to the sex lives of its students, but it’s also lessening the pressure on these youngins’ wallets.

Melissa Fumero is a 34-year-old actress best known for her roles as Adriana Cramer on One Life to Live, Zoe on Gossip Girl and Amy Santiago on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Fumero was born in New Jersey and attended New York University, graduating in 2003. The Cuban-American actress is married to her her One Life to Live co-star David Fumero. The couple got hitched back in 2007 and had their first child together in March 2016. In what has been a fairly tight series so far, the Atlanta Hawks are looking to even things up at two apiece tonight at home against the Washington Wizards. After falling behind 2-0 on the road, Atlanta came away with a decisive 116-98 victory over Washington in Game 3.

The Hawks offense was clicking on all cylinders in the last game, as they were led by Dennis Schroder and Paul Millsap. This series has featured some tremendous play from the point guards on each squad with Schroder and John Wall going head to head.

The Wizards would love the chance to take a 3-1 lead and have the potential to end the series on their home court. Washington has continued to look to Wall to bring it home, who is now averaging 31 points through the first three games. The Wizards will need guard Bradley Beal to bounce back after a sub-par showing in Game 3.
