Keri Russell, 41, is an American actress. She broke out as the lead role of Felicity Porter on the popular series Felicity, which ran for four seasons from 1998 to 2002 and earned her a Golden Globe Award. Today, she stars in the critically acclaimed FX drama The Americans, where her role as undercover KGB agent Elizabeth Jennings has earned her a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nomination.

Since Felicity aired so long ago and The Americans is criminally underrated, y’all may have been sleeping on Keri Russell. But I’m here to wake you clowns up. This MILF is an absolute smoke show and, for anyone who has watched The Americans, a complete badass.

In addition to her notable TV roles, Russell has also appeared in popular movies such as Mission: Impossible III (2006), August Rush (2007), Extraordinary Measures (2010), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) and Free State of Jones (2016).

Russell grew up a dancer (mental picture, mental picture) and even had roles in Honey, I blew Up the Kid (1993) and every ’90s kids favorite show Boy Meets World. On top of all that, she also voiced heroine Wonder Woman in the 2009 animated feature of the same name which sets my little nerdy heart a flutter.

Sadly, Russell has been dating Americans co-star Matthew Rhys since 2013, meaning she’s off the market. Alas, maybe one day.

I would say that roughly 75% of the useful knowledge I’ve learned in my life came from Mr. Feeny, which is why I’m so happy to see him still doling out life lessons. William Daniels, the actor who played Fe-fe-fe-feeeeeeeny on the dopest show of all time Boy Meets World and its not-so-dope Disney Channel sequel, is back with a few kernels of wisdom in this video from BuzzFeed.

Here’s what Daniels had to say to the younger generation:

“Pay attention to the politics,” he said. “I’m worried about where we are right now. These are difficult times and young people have gotta form an opinion and they’ve gotta act on it. And by act on it, I mean they have to vote when there’s a chance to vote and use their own judgments about what’s going on these days because, I think, these are difficult times, you know? Without getting into it too much.”

Daniels is celebrating his 90th birthday. The man, the myth, the legend even reprised his Mr. Feeny role for the Girl Meets World finale in order to help Topanga make a major life decision. He told BuzzFeed that his favorite piece of in-character advice ever given was, “‘Dream, try, and do good’…Boy, I was close to tears, frankly – it had been seven seasons. But that was it, that is what I’ll always remember, yes.”

Boy Meets World went off the air 17 years ago, yet Mr. Feeny has lived on thanks to clutch memes and a general love of the character, something Daniels still can’t believe.

“I remember we were in New York and we were coming out of the theater after a matinee and there was a bus full of kids,” he recalled. “They came out of the bus as I passed them going down Eighth Avenue, and they started yelling, ‘Feeny! Feeny!’ Well, the brave one that I am, I ran around the block just to get away from them.”

Feeny is the OG of the ’90s and I will fight anyone who says differently.

Last week, we brought you the news that the Coastal Carolina University cheerleading team was suspended indefinitely as school officials investigated a multitude of allegations.

According to a cheerleader who spoke to WMBF News, an investigator with the CCU Department of Public Safety came to the team’s practice Wednesday night and informed them that an anonymous letter was mailed to school president David DeCenzo on March 7. The letter alleged that certain cheerleaders were involved in a “long list of things” that were against the law, including prostitution, purchasing alcohol for underage team members, and paying others to do their homework for them.

A week later, the investigation has begun to shed some more light on the situation. According to The Charlotte Observer, the criminal investigation alleges that some members of the CCU cheer team worked as strippers and escorts, with some cheerleaders involved in the escort services being paid between $100 and $1,500 per date.

Cheerleaders also would receive goods such as Michael Kors purses, as well as shoes and clothes, according to the investigation. One cheerleader was offered $800 to escort a male to New York Prime, according to the report. The cheerleaders would not engage in sexual favors, the report stated, but the investigation found “evidence of an escort service.”

The cheerleaders ran the operation through the website seekingarrangement.com, according to the report. Text messages between cheerleaders advised team members working at the strip clubs, including Thee DollHouse, to quit their jobs until after a national cheerleading competition taking place in Dayton Beach, Fla., according to the report.

Amy Lawrence, an attorney who represents five of the 11 accused cheerleaders, called the suspension “unprecedented.”

“I am shocked and saddened to see these girls become victims of these baseless claims from an anonymous source,” Lawrence said in a news release. “Even more disheartening is that these girls were not permitted due process in their own defense to show just how outlandish and ridiculous these allegations truly are.”

Last year, Harvard threatened to ban all fraternity members from holding athletic captaincies and any university leadership position if they remain a single-gender social group by 2021…despite the existence of sororities. In addition, these chapters would not be eligible from receiving endorsements for top fellowships like the Rhodes and Marshall scholarships even though the school doesn’t have an official affiliation to Greek life.

To be clear: even though Harvard does not formally recognize greek life around campus, they are still enforcing a gender-neutral precedent.

Female organizations tied to Greek Row protested and were granted a three to five year grace period after the 2021 deadline. The male organizations did not receive the same treatment. Since then, there’s been no movement from school fraternities or the university. Unfortunately, that standoff ended when former home of Mark Zuckerberg, Alpha Epsilon Pi, crossed the picket line.

“Ultimately, fraternity members voted in support of an open rush, meaning that it will have to break its affiliation with Alpha Epsilon Pi because the national leadership would not allow the fraternity to retain its chapter status while also admitting women.

“This is not what we wanted; ideally we would remain a part of AEPi and nationals would recognize us breaking down the discriminatory barriers to joining our chapter,” chapter president Jake Ascher said in a statement. “Though this is not the case, we remain resolute with our goal and we can say that all of our members will leave AEPi to form a new group.”

According to undergraduate chapter president Jake Ascher, the Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter at Havard University plans to disaffiliate from the organization to form a gender neutral social group.

The Harvard Chapter of AEPi, the Eta Psi chapter, is the first of Harvard’s 9 Greek Life organizations to become COED following the announcement of Harvard’s penalties on members of unrecognized single-gender organizations.

According to The Crimson, beginning with the Class of 2021, the school’s policy will ban undergraduate members of these groups from certain leadership positions, athletic captaincies, and postgraduate fellowships.

In a written statement released to The Crimson Tuesday, current members of the chapter announced they had “voted to become a gender neutral organization” and will hold a gender-neutral rush next fall. In order to do so, the group has been forced to disaffiliate from AEPi’s national organization.

“Beginning next semester our rush process will be open to all Harvard undergraduates, regardless of gender identity,” the statement reads. “Our chapter has long debated the issues of gender inclusion and neutrality, but the announcement of the sanctions certainly spurred our decision,” it continues.

Ascher said Harvard’s Eta Psi members first discussed going gender neutral in May 2016 at a chapter-wide meeting held just after University President Drew G. Faust announced the College’s penalties. He said that meeting, intended to “take the temperature of the group,” largely decided the chapter’s future course.

After the university’s imposed the new sanctions, AEPi held discussions among fraternity members. Conversations amongst the fraternity members continued until the chapter held a formal vote to decide whether or not to have an open rush in the fall 2017 semester.

They eventually voted to have an open rush, forcing them to break its affiliation with Alpha Epsilon Pi because the national leadership would not allow the fraternity to retain its chapter status while also admitting women.

Rachel Nichols, 43, is a very knowledgable and talented sports journalist and TV host for ESPN. She also happens to be a hot red head. Much respect.

Nichols was born in Potomac, Maryland, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University (she’s a smart one if you couldn’t tell from her ace reporting). Early in her career,  Nichols worked for the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel (1995-1996) and the Washington Post (1996-2004) where she covered the NHL’s Washington Capitals.

In 2013, Nichols began hosting Unguarded with Rachel Nichols on CNN. But in October 2014 the show was reduced from a regular series to an occasional special.

The hard hitting reporter currently hosts ESPN’s The Jump while also appearing on CBS’ NCAA Tournament broadcasts and TNT’s NBA coverage. Obviously, she’s had a very successful career in broadcast thus far.

What I like most about Nichols (besides, you know, her being hot) is her fearlessness. She didn’t back down when questioning NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the botched Ray Rice suspension back in 2014 and confronted Floyd Mayweather about his lengthy history of domestic violence. That takes serious cajones.

We’ve got a championship bout taking place across the pond today, as Terry Flanagan will put his WBO lightweight belt on the line against Petr Petrov in a match scheduled for 12 rounds. Flanagan is the favorite and he’s fighting in his backyard, so Petrov will need the performance of a lifetime to score the upset.

We’ll get to see the man who many boxing pundits consider to be the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet tonight, as Vasyl Lomachenko will put his WBO junior lightweight title on the line against Jason Sosa in a bout scheduled for 12 rounds. This is Lomachenko’s (7-1, 5 KOs) third fight at junior lightweight, as he fought his first six pro matches at featherweight and held the division’s WBO title from 2014 to 2016. At least 32 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in two separate Palm Sunday bombing attacks at Coptic Christian churches in Egypt.

UPDATE: 9:04 A.M. ET

What Happened?

Two explosions at separate Coptic Christian churches is Egypt have killed at least 32 and injure at least 100. The first explosion took place at a church in the Nile Delta town of Tanta, where at least 26 people were killed and 71 were wounded.

Television images showed the inside of the church, where a large group of people gathered around what looked to be dead and bloody bodies covered with papers.

A second attack was reported in Alexandria which left at least six dead and 33 injured.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

UPDATE 8:47 A.M. ET – Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the church bombings.

“Either a bomb was planted or someone blew himself up,” provincial governor Ahmad Deif told the state-run Nile TV channel, Sky News reported.

Another explosive device was found at another church later. Bomb squads were on the scene to dismantle it.

These attacks, which come just a week before Easter, mark another in a string of incidents targeting the country’s minority Christian population (around 10% of the country). Islamic extremists are thought to be behind many of these attacks.

Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, head of Egypt’s Al-Azhar — the leading center of learning in Sunni Islam — condemned the attack, calling it a “despicable terrorist bombing that targeted the lives of innocents.”

One Islamic State affiliate claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing at a church in Cairo in December that killed 30 people, mostly women, in addition to a string of killings in the Sinai Peninsula. The group has threatened future attacks as well.

A militant group called Liwa al-Thawra claimed responsibility for an April 1 bomb attack that  targeted a police training center in Tanta, which wounded 16 people. The group is believed to be linked to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood but has largely avoided attacks on Egypt’s Christian population.

The country has seen a significant rise in extremist militancy since the 2013 military coup that overthrew an elected Islamist president.

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, one of the best fighters in the UFC’s light heavyweight division, shocked everyone in the MMA world when he announced his retirement after his submission loss to UFC champ Daniel Cormier Saturday night.

Johnson, 33, was a slight favorite heading into UFC 210 and his rematch with Cormier despite losing their first tilt. Many experts predicted the heavy hitter would use his power and striking to claim the Light Heavyweight championship this time around. But Johnson chose to wrestle with Cormier, who was able to control him with his grappling and ground skills before scoring a submission victory via rear naked choke at 3:37 of the second round.

But the real stunner was Johnson’s retirement despite his 22-6 record and victories in 12 of his past 14 fights. If he truly does retire, he’ll be walking away from a potential big-money fight against former champion Jon Jones.

“This is my last fight,” Johnson said in the Octagon. “I didn’t even tell [UFC president] Dana White. My coaches knew. My family knew. My friends knew. I have to thank you all for being there for me. I gave my commitment to something I’ve wanted to do for a while. It’s not MMA-related. It’s just time to move on.

“I’m tired of getting punched by other guys. There’s nothing fun about that. I enjoyed it, though. I enjoyed the UFC.”

Cormier (18-2) spoke about Jones in his post-fight interview. The two squared off for the belt in 2015, before Jones was stripped os his title due to legal troubles. They were supposed to meet again at UFC 200 last July, but Jones was suspended for failing a drug test. His suspension ends July 6.

“Don’t talk to me about a guy that’s ineligible,” Cormier said as Jones stood cageside. “When you get your s— together and are ready to fight, I’ve been waiting for two years.”

The season one finale of Crashing is set to air tonight, and if you’ve been keeping up with the show like I have, this news is bittersweet. On one hand, I’m pumped to see how the eight-episode season is going to conclude. But on the other, I’m bummed that I’m going to have to wait roughly a year for season two to begin.

With Pete single and homeless, he crashes on couches while chasing his dream. He gets help from lots of famous friends along the way, as comedians such as Artie Lange, T.J. Miller, and Sarah Silverman have recurring roles as themselves on the show.

Sheridan Tihista, a former Miss Montana who is now a special education teacher at Liberty Middle School in North Dakota, is facing backlash after her students’ parents discovered that she was tweeting about them.

Tihista, who won the 2013 Miss Montana pageant, is now a middle school special education teacher in West Fargo, North Dakota. On Friday, April 7, a group of parents emailed over 20 pages of her printed tweets to both school officials and a local news outlet.

The tweets in question, which were sent to ABC affiliate WDAY, show Tihista referring to the mothers of autistic students as “monsters” and mocking students for seeking “attention.”

She also disclosed and described interactions with students, sometimes dismissively. For instance, in one post she said the best part about teaching autistic students is she never has to change up her classroom routine because “we loooove routines!” In another, she posted an image of a text exchange showing someone saying they wanted “attention” as their Christmas gift, then wrote “Basically all my students.”

Tihista’s Twitter account had been public, meaning anyone could read the posts. But on Friday, April 7, she briefly made it private, only allowing approved followers to view her posts. Then she deleted the account entirely.

Tihista sent a text to WDAY News, acknowledging that while the tweets were inappropriate, they do not represent her as a teacher overall:

“My tweets may have been distasteful but don’t illustrate what kind of educator I am,” she said.

While the West Fargo School District policy on social media notes that such statements of this nature may be protected by the First Amendment, teachers can still be disciplined for off-duty conduct or posting unbecoming content.

Michaella Surat is the Colorado State sorority girl who was slammed to the ground outside of a bar by a police officer.

Surat, 22, was thrown to the ground outside Bondi Beach Bar in Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, April 6, after allegedly attempting to hit one of the officers. Police were called to the Bondi Beach Bar after reports of a fight that involved Surat’s boyfriend.

According to Kate Kimble, a Fort Collins police spokeswoman, while the responding officers were gathering information from Bondi Beach employees about the fight, Surat allegedly “shoulder-checked the bouncer and an officer and then pulled her boyfriend from the area.”

Kimble said that while the officers told Surat her boyfriend was not free to leave, she was allowed to go. It was at this time that she remained at the scene and “physically obstructed and struck an officer.” Kimble said this is when the still-unidentified officer used a “standard arrest control” to subdue her.

The officer has not been publicly identified.

A bystander captured part of the incident on video and shared it online. The succinct clip shows what appears to be a scuffle between the woman and an officer in Old Town Square. A few seconds later, the woman and officer grapple before he brings her to the ground.

The incident was also captured on body-worn cameras. All District 1 police officers wear the devices, and Fort Collins Police Services is in the process of outfitting every uniformed cop in the city with the cameras.

 “As this is still an open case, body camera video is not being released at this time,” Kimble said. A police supervisor will review the use of force to ensure the actions are within policy and training.

Surat, a junior at CSU, was arrested and put into the Larimer County Jail. She subsequently posted her $1,750 bond and has been formally charged with third-degree assault and obstructing a police officer. She is due in court Wednesday.

In case you haven’t heard in the last six or seven months, that Russell Westbrook guy is having himself quite a season.

Recognizing what Westbrook has done this season is truly historic in every sense of the word. NBA stars came out in droves to pay their respects to the all-world Oklahoma City point guard.

Of course, The King had to weigh in.

And so did the rest of the league.

I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again: contrary to popular belief, Kevin Durant leaving the Thunder was the best thing that could have ever happened to Westbrook.

Think about it. Russell Westbrook can do no wrong these days. Does the fact that he’s the most dominant force in the NBA help his case? Sure. But marketing wise, brand wise, there is not a single player in the league more likable than Russell Westbrook. He’s the guy who stuck it out, the guy who stayed.

He’s the guy who just averaged a triple-double for the entire season.
