As a regular guy, it’s hard for me to wrap my head around a super rich, world-famous golfer settling down in his 20s. Our man Rory McIlroy is worth about a cool $200 million at the age of 27. If that was me, I’d have one girlfriend for every million dollars in my bank account. Sorry, it’s just the truth. Love is eternal, but youth isn’t, so you gotta get your home runs in while you’re in your prime.

But I’m not Rory McIlroy, so it’s not up to me. Besides, when you’ve wifed up a girl like Erica Stoll, it’s hard to hate on the guy. I mean, the chick works for the PGA, she’s gorgeous and she obviously loves golf. If I were a golfer, I imagine I’d be looking for a similar combination.

The quick-thinking 27-year-old famously came to the golfer’s rescue at the Ryder Cup October 2012 when she noticed he was not on site for the final day of the competition.

Rory from Holywood, Co Down, narrowly avoided missing disqualification after mixing up his tee time and was given a police escort to the course after the blonde beauty came to his rescue.

“Rory and Erica obviously have been linked in the headlines for all the right reasons already but they seem to have hit it off even more since. It’s been kept quiet but they have stayed in contact and they meet up when he is in America.

“The fact that she has a big interest in golf is an important factor – and it’s not just a case that she has sparked an interest in the game since meeting Rory. In fact she is every bit as obsessed with golf as him.”

So, while I would never pull this move as a multi-hundred-millionaire, I can’t hate on the guy for doing it. Love is love, and besides, golf sucks, so finding someone who loves it as much as you do has got to be pretty tough.

Netflix

Today, Netflix dropped the official trailer for season 2 of Master of None. Aziz Ansari created and stars in the comedy-drama, which made its debut on November 6, 2015. The 10-episode first season was amazing, full of laughs and real talk about relationships.

When the first season ended, a newly single Aziz (Dev Shah) was leaving New York City to learn how to make pasta in Italy. Let’s take a look at the new Master of None trailer to see what kind of adventures lie ahead in the upcoming season.

It is definitely a bummer that there was no dialogue in the trailer, but I’m still getting positive vibes for season 2. For some more concrete details, here’s the YouTube description from the video.

Jessica Henwick is a gorgeous and talented 24-year-old actress from Surrey, England. Her mother is Singaporean-Chinese and her father is Zambian-English, which is a pretty unique combination that gives Henwick her distinctive good looks. After getting her start in show business, Henwick would soon find herself securing small but steady acting gigs. She’s also done radio work, playing Helen in North by Northamptonshire (2011-2012).

But Henwick’s true breakout role is her latest. She starred as Colleen Wing in the superhero series Iron Fist. The show’s first season consists of 13 episodes, and it made its debut on Netflix on March 17, 2017. Though the show failed to impress critics, Henwick was widely praised as Iron Fist‘s breakout star. It has already been announced that she’ll be appearing in Netflix’s crossover miniseries The Defenders, premiering in August. Henwick has been training in martial arts since she was 15 and it shows in her work as she is one of the more badass characters in the Marvel show.

Her next role will be in the FOX feature film Underwater.

Only 17 days prior to UFC 209, she was on her way to a shift at the restaurant on “one of the busiest, (expletive) days” – Valentine’s Day.

Then UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby instant messaged her offering a possible fight on the UFC Fight Pass prelims of this past Saturday’s event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. She was one month removed from her third professional fight and was pushing for another one in March.

But she wasn’t about to turn down this opportunity.

“He said, ‘Are you interested?’ I said, ‘Hell yeah. I said 100,’” Calvillo (4-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), 29, said backstage after submitting Amanda Cooper (2-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in the first round of her octagon debut.

In case you haven’t aware, my man Noah Syndergaard is taking over the world. At only 24-years-old, he may be the biggest sports star in New York this side of Odell and Eli. And not only is he one of the most talented pitchers in the league, he’s one of the ballsiest.

Back during the 2015 World Seris, Syndergaard essentially challenged the Royals to fight him, and at 6’6″, 250 lbs, it’s hard not to blame him. After opening Game 3 of the World Series with a fastball over the Royals’ leadoff hitter’s head, Syndergaard did not shy away from the pressure, saying:

“If they have a problem with me throwing inside,” Syndergaard said, “then they can meet me 60-feet, six-inches away. I’ve got no problem with that.”

While there will be many friendly faces in this year’s tournament, there is one you will not see, and that’s Tiger Woods. After withdrawing from the competition, it seems people have not gotten the clue and some bets are still placed on him. Lorraine Gilles is the former nanny to Mel B and Stephen Belafonte’s children. The singer alleges that Belafonte impregnated Gilles and gave her money. I have zero clue about who any of these three people are, but the internet does, so here we are. I’m here to serve.

The 25-year-old Gilles has been the couple’s nanny for years. Mel B alleges that her husband got Gilles pregnant and paid her over $250,000 for ‘nanny services.’

However, Mel B claims that Gilles also received another $240,000 for an abortion.

All of this comes after Mel B claimed that Belafonte beat her and subjected her to many years of physical and mental abuse.

In a set of court documents singer Mel B filed in Los Angeles this week, she claimed that her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte impregnated nanny Lorraine Gilles and had her get an abortion. She claims that Belafonte then paid her $300,000 for “nanny services” before Gilles was fired in 2015.

The allegations against Belafonte surfaced in a court declaration filed by Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Janine Brown, in Los Angeles. Brown married Belafonte in June 2007 and they separated in December 2016. They have a daughter together, Madison, and she has two older children from previous relationships.

TMZ reported that Brown’s lawyers succeeded in getting her a restraining order against Blafonte, who has been ordered to leave their home and to stay away from her children. The declaration includes shocking claims about trying to get Brown to participate in three-ways with other women and threats to release sex tapes.

Does any of this matter to anyone? No. But the internet seems to care, so here we are. Despite what you may think, this job isn’t always glitz and glamour.

In early April of 2017, it was revealed that over the course of the years, it was revealed that five women were paid a collective $13 million for agreeing not to file lawsuits or speak publicly about allegations that Bill O’Reilly had sexually harassed them.

According to The New York Times report, the women who made the allegations against O’Reilly were either employed by him or appeared on his show. The complaints detail wide range of inappropriate behavior, including verbal abuse, lewd comments, unwanted advances and phone calls in which it sounded as though O’Reilly was masturbating.

I’ve mentioned before that there’s not as much shock in the NBA, and you usually know who is going to make the finals before the playoffs even get going, but that still doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch the playoffs this year. It’s been a fun NBA season with Kevin Durant going to the Warriors, then getting hurt but probably coming back for the playoffs, Russell Westbrook averaging a triple double, Lebron James still being really good while continuing to do things that make me hate him, the Spurs winning 60 games again, and the Clippers being wildly overrated like they are every year.

I’ve personally enjoyed watching the NBA this season, as I do every season because I’m a basketball fan, so I can’t imagine I won’t enjoy the playoffs. Now as we’re a few weeks away from the start of the postseason, it’s time to do what sports writers around our country are doing, NBA playoff predictions! Please try and contain your excitement. My five predictions will most likely come across to you as pretty standard (they are), because I’m not much of a hot take artist like my man Skip Bayless. So without wasting any more of your time, here’s what I think is going to go down in the 2017 NBA playoffs.

1. Stephen Curry will be more crucial to Golden State than Kevin Durant in the postseason.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, hear me out. I think most people would agree that Kevin Durant is a better basketball player than Steph Curry is, but the Warriors are at their best when Steph gets it going. Before KD went down, he had taken over as the alpha dog in Golden State as Steph was suffering through the worst slump of his career. Then Durant went down with a knee injury and everyone thought that the Warriors were cooked, or at least as far as making a run at the Finals that is. Funny thing happened though, the two-time reigning NBA MVP found his shot back, has made sure the Warriors have held on to the one seed, and oh yeah, helped lead the team to their current 12-game winning streak. I know that the Warriors have been outstanding since Durant went down, but I’m not going to sit here and tell you that they don’t need him in the postseason. He’s slated to come back this Saturday, so it will be interesting to see how he plays his way back into the lineup.

2. Boston will go into the playoffs as the #1 seed in the east.

This doesn’t mean that I think they will represent the east in the finals, but this is my hot-ish take of these predictions. As much as I’d love to see Isaiah Thomas getting buckets in the finals, I don’t see any way they could beat the Cavs in the playoffs. I think Boston is going to get the one seed because it seems to matter more to them than it does to Cleveland, and it should. Tonight’s game with the Cavs will be very telling to see if my prediction turns out to be true, but I’m a man of my conviction, and I believe the Celtics will be top seed in the east come playoff time.

3. The Clippers aren’t getting out of the first round.

This is kind of a HUGE postseason for the Clips, because if they don’t make a run to the conference finals, it may be time to break up the band of Doc, CP3, Blake, and DeAndre. Now, I’ll admit that I’ve never really been a huge Clippers fan, but I think it may be time for a fresh start in Los Angeles because I don’t see them getting out of the first round. This is the sixth (it may be seventh and if it is I apologize) of that core four, and they’ve never made it to the conference finals, and notoriously blew a 3-1 lead to the Rockets two years ago in the second round. For whatever reason, they can’t seem to figure it out in the postseason and I don’t see any reason as to why that should change this time around. Also, Doc Rivers is kind of an overrated coach if we’re being honest. After his run with the Celtics, which would have ended a lot sooner if he didn’t get KG and Ray Allen, his time with the Clippers has been disappointing, to say the least. Brace yourself for another early exit for the Clippers, NBA fans.

4. The Rockets are going to the conference finals.

It’s been a roller-coaster of a ride with James Harden and I. I loved him when he came into the league with the Thunder and was coming off the bench with Westbrook and Durant, but got a little bit (unfairly) salty towards him when he was traded to Houston, just because I wanted to see that Big 3 stay together and run the league for years. I absolutely hated him when Dwight Howard joined him on the Rockets because Dwight Howard is a bitch, so that was probably a bit unfair of me to not like Harden for that as well. But now Dwight is gone and Harden is playing out of his goddamn mind this year, and this Houston team has been so much fun to watch. They’re running the Mike D’Antoni uptempo offense, and draining threes left and right. I think they’ll most likely play the Spurs in the second round, and I think that they can take them. They can definitely give the Warriors trouble in the conference finals, but I still see Golden State coming out victorious in that series.

5. The Warriors will win a grudge match with the Cavs in the finals.

I don’t know how confident I am with this prediction, it’s more of a hope, but I’m going with it anyways. They’re clearly the two best teams in the league, and with the way the Warriors are playing and with how lackluster the competition is for the Cavs in the East, it’s pretty hard to imagine another finals matchup. This goes back to my point that there isn’t any parody in the NBA, but at the same time, this is the matchup that we all want to see. I want to see if Golden State can right the wrong from last year when they blew a 3-1 lead, as well as if Lebron can take his game to another level and possibly claim the title as “Greatest Basketball Player of All Time.” You’d have to imagine that the series would go seven games, and I want the Warriors to win because I hate the Cavs, but man it’s pretty hard to bet against Lebron. I’m going to go with Golden State though, because I think they’ve been wanting this rematch for a year now, and they won’t make the same mistakes that they did last year. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Bonus Prediction: Lebron won’t make any douchey comments in the playoffs.

Kendall Lucas, a 25-year-old softball coach, has been charged after reportedly having up to ten sexual encounters with a 17-year-old student.

Lucas, 25, allegedly had sex with a female student between March and May of 2016 while she was the head coach of the Taylor High School softball team in Austin, Texas.

Lucas faces up to 20 years in prison after being charged with an improper relationship between an educator and a student. The investigation was launched after the unidentified teenager confided in friends who then tipped off school officials.

According to the CBS report, Lucas turned herself in to confess after the school found out about the relationship.

Investigators say on Wednesday, school officials learned of a possible improper relationship between Lucas and a student and reported it to police. Taylor Police say their detectives discovered Lucas and the student had a sexual relationship from March of 2016 to May of 2016.

Taylor Police say Lucas confessed to detectives to having a sexual relationship with a female student who was on the varsity softball team. If convicted, Lucas faces up to 20 years in prison.

The Taylor School District released the following statement:

The Taylor Independent School District has been made aware of a possible inappropriate situation involving a high school student and an adult employee. TISD administration responded immediately and an investigation involving the Taylor Police Department is in progress. The employee has been placed on administrative leave, and the district is cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities. Due to the ongoing police investigation into this matter, the district cannot comment further on this incident.

Kylie Nielsen, a Utah student, has won $100,00 from her school district after she broke her ankle wearing ‘drunk simulation goggles’ during her health class.

Nielsen, who was 13 at the time of the injury, was forced to undergo two surgeries after her foot got stuck in a desk during an ‘alcohol impairment simulation’ at the Centennial Junior High School in Kaysville, Utah, back in 2014.

Nielsen, who is now in high school, will now receive $61,000 from the Davis School District, as well as another $39,000 — $13,000 for medical expenses, and $26,000 to legal fees.

Nielsen was 13 when she participated in an exercise to simulate alcohol impairment at Centennial Junior High School north of Salt Lake City. Her teacher, Rick Smith, encouraged students to play tag and run around a classroom while wearing ‘drunk goggles,’ according to court documents.

Nielsen’s foot got stuck in a desk, and she broke her ankle in multiple places. She underwent two different surgeries, but one of her legs ended up shorter than the other, her parents said. The former track star was no longer able to complete, and the teen still experiences pain and swelling with any physical activity, according to the personal injury lawsuit.

The teacher ‘breached a duty owed to [Nielsen] by failing to act with reasonable care,’ according to the school district’s statement in court papers.

Smith, the teacher involved in the incident, no longer works in the district, although it is unclear why.

Shauna Luna, a spokesperson for the school district, it was ‘tragic accident’ and ‘We are sorry for all Kylie went through as a result of it.’

And I haven’t even mentioned that fact that Paulina, at only 28-years-old, is probably the hottest MILF in the world.

So while Dustin Johson, the alleged #1 golfer in the world, is missing out on the biggest tournament in the sport because he hasn’t mastered staircases (or was wasted), let’s admire his wife, the daughter of The Great One, for consistently being one of the badest chicks on the planet.

Well, it looks like one of the world’s (top 4) greatest living actors has eyed his next role, as rumors suggest that Bale, Amy Adams, and Steve Carrell are circling Adam McKay’s upcoming biopic about Dick Cheney.

Sources tell Variety that Christian Bale, Steve Carell, and Amy Adams are in talks to star in McKay’s untitled Dick Cheney biopic for Paramount. Sources say Bale is on board to play the former vice president, Carell would portray Donald Rumsfeld, and Adams would play Lynne Cheney.

McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions and Brad Pitt’s Plan B is on board to produce.

McKay will direct from his own screenplay with the studio and producers aiming to shoot the movie in the spring for an awards-season push, similar to “Big Short.” Producers are Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner through Plan B along McKay and his Gary Sanchez partners, Will Ferrell and Kevin Messick.

I think it’s safe to say that transforming himself into the infamous Vice President will be enough to earn Bale his second Oscar win.
