University of Central Florida police have launched an investigation after an unidentified female student claims she was raped after a fraternity party.

The victim told university police that she and a friend drank at a party in the off-campus Sigma Pi fraternity house on Darwin Drive in January.

According to the incident report, they called another friend to come and pick them up. While waiting, the victim says a familiar member of the fraternity approached them.

The fraternity member, whose name was redacted from the report, helped get the two into the car when it arrived and then went back to their apartment with them.

The victim told police the suspect was supposed to sleep in the bathroom in her apartment, but as she was sleeping, the suspect got into bed with her, authorities said.

She asked what he was doing and told him to stop, but he said, “Just go with it,” a police report states.

That’s when he took off his pants and raped her, an incident report said. She told him no repeatedly and tried to get him to stop, but at some point she may have blacked out, police said.

According to police, the victim said that she had four drinks at the party but was unsure if someone slipped anything into one of her drinks.

Courtney Gilmartin, a spokeswoman for the school, said that while the suspect has not been charged, UCF police are still investigating.

Newly released video footage shows two white NYPD officers “taunting” a group of African-American students as they walked down the street.

During the video, one of the officers, armed with a taser gun, is heard asking the teens if they want to “ride the lightning.”

The video, which was posted online by an associate professor of sociology at Brooklyn College named Alex S. Vitale, shows the two officers trying to move a group of kid away from the corner of Bedford Avenue and Campus Road by Midwood High School in Brooklyn on March 16, 2017.

The cops, one of whom who is holding a baton, appear aggressive with the teens as they move them on with one cop asking a student, “What are you going to do about it?”

That’s when one of the officers is seen on video pulling out what appears to be his Taser.

“Do you wanna ride the lightning?” he asks on the footage, adding “you better walk away” as the rowdy youths cross the street.

CUNY Prof. Alex Vitale, who shot and uploaded the video, said that he didn’t know why the officers were there, but their actions appeared unwarranted.

“The whole interaction seemed like an abuse of authority,” said Vitale.

According to official New York City Police Department guidelines, tasers “should generally not be used on children.”

A spokesperson for the NYPD says they are aware of the video and are launching an investigation.

Whether or not you’re a fan of wrestling, there is something to be said and respected about longevity.

While I haven’t watched an ounce of wrestling for the better part of the last decade, the first wrestling match I ever watched was way back in the year 1999. The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Mick Foley, and of course, The Undertaker were leading the company to heights it had never seen.

While most of those names walked away from the sport — whether it be to pursue other passions or to just plain retire — one stayed. The Undertaker stayed.

After losing to Romain Reigns last night at Wrestlemania 33, with a Wrestlemania record of 23-2, the Deadman walked away after 27 years in the sport, leaving his hat and jacket in the center of the ring.

Just to show how much respect the Undertaker has garnered over the last couple of decades, even after the crowd was gone and the ring was being taken down, Taker’s gear remained in the center.

Aracely Arámbula is widely known from Mexico to Telemundo for her acting and singing talents. She has appeared in numerous telenovelas since the mid-90s. And she still looks phenomenal today at 42-years-old.

Arámbula is a true televnoevela superstar, but she had to earn her spot and climb up that cliched ladder of success. The young starlet first broke into the acting business in 1994, as she was cast in a few small roles for a few different telenovelas.

When she realized playing bit parts wasn’t paying the bills, she hit the books and enrolled in college. Aracely spent the next three years at Centro de Educación Artística, an entertainment educational institute set up by Televisa to train aspiring talent. This university helped this young actress go from minuscule parts to lead roles.

Even in 2017, Aracely is still a major star. She’s the title character of the show “La Doña,” a badass fiery redhead who seeks retribution against rapists. She rids the streets of all those sickos, keeping other women safe and bringing swift justice to the bad guys.

I’d be remiss not to mention her music career. Aracely has went from singing nursery rhymes to releasing an album entitled Sexy. In 2003, she was nominated for multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards for her first studio album Sólo Tuya.

Aracely has appeared on stage, starring in plays like Perfume de Gardenia (2010-2012) and Por qué los hombres aman a las cabronas (“Why Men Love Bastards,” 2015).

Am I forgetting anything? She’s modeled for a Mexican cosmetics and perfume company. Aracely also co-owns a spa with her brother in Mexico City. Is there anything this women hasn’t done? Well, she never walked on the moon, but you’ll probably agree that her photos are out of this world!

Anyway, meet Dion Sims. Sims signed a three-year, $18 million contract with the Bears this offseason,  following a career year with the Dolphins where he caught 26 passes and four touchdowns in 14 games. The 26-year-old 6’4″, 271-pounder then signed with the Bears in the offseason. However, it looks like he won’t be able to enjoy his new found money for long.

At least ten people have been killed in explosions that hit St. Petersburg’s metro system on Monday. Early reports indicate that at least 50 have been injured.

What Happened?

Blasts in two train carriages at metro stations in St. Petersburg, Russia, killed at least ten and injured at least 50, according to emergency services. Another explosive device was later found and made safe at a station nearby.

UPDATE 12:50 P.M. ET – The Telegraph is reporting that two search warrants have been issued in relation to the St. Petersburg Metro explosion.

At least seven metro stations have been closed down: Victory Park, Electrosila, Moscow Gate, Frunzenskaya, Technological Institute, Sennaya Ploshchad, Gostiny Dvor. Evacuations are also under way. One report claims that at least one of the blasts involved a device filled with shrapnel. Another report says the blast was a suspected IED insive of a car at the station.

The explosion took place as the train was traveling between the stations Tekhnologichesky Institut and Sennaya Ploshchad of the St. Petersburg Metro.

“According to the very first preliminary information, about 10 people were killed in the explosion,” a source told TASS, though the exact number of victims is still being established.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to the families of those killed in today’s attacks. He also said that all possible causes for the blasts, including terrorism, are being considered. Putin was in St. Petersburg for a meeting and a speech at the time of the blasts. It is unknown if he still intends to meet with Belarus President Alexander G. Lukashenko.

UPDATE: 9:50 A.M. – The Russian prosecutor general has reportedly labeled the explosion a terrorist attack.

The Daily Mail is claiming that a suspected terrorist threw a backpack onto the train moments before it exploded.

Local prosecutors are on the scene investigating the blasts at this time.

A spokesman for the regional department of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry told the news agency it was checking reports on the smoke in the metro. “There is a complaint about the smoke, the staff members are going to the scene,” the official said.

According to Tass, one of the explosions took place at the Sennaya Ploshchad station, also known as Hay Square.

Hezbollah has already spoken out publicly to condemn the attacks, saying “We will stand with Russia.” At this time, no terrorist organization has taken explicit responsibility for the attack. However, pre-attack propaganda poster from ISIS has been unearthed. The image shows an ISIS fighter standing in front of the Kremlin with the caption, “Kill them where you find them,” according to the Daily Express.

Three days of mourning starting from tomorrow has been announced in St. Petersburg, according to an order issued by the city’s governor, Sergey Poltavchenko.

Opening Day is finally here, and since it’s inexplicably still not a national holiday, we’ve got all of the live stream details for you to watch baseball while at school or work. Taking the ball for the Mets will be 24-year-old Noah Syndergaard. The flame-throwing righty made his first All-Star team last season after going 14-9 with a 2.60 ERA and 1.15 WHIP while striking out 218 batters over 183.2 innings. With some elite lettuce flowing out of his cap and absolutely nasty stuff, Noah is more than worthy of his Thor nickname.

Obviously, Reigns has no issues paying the rent. He made $2 million in 2016 alone. He has main event three consecutive WrestleManias, and has won two. The Big Dog is a former three-time WWE World Champion. Roman Reigns’ real name is Leati Joesph Anoa’i. He was born into a wrestling destiny that produced names like The Rock, Rikishi, The Usos, The Wild Samoans, The Headshrinkers, and many more. But Roman didn’t start off his career in pro wrestling.

Way before Reigns stepped foot in a WWE ring, he was running around the football from high school all the way to the big leagues (in Canada). Yep, Roman couldn’t quite cut it in the NFL. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings only to get canned during the first month on the job. A few months later, the Jacksonville Jaguars gave this future WrestleMania headliner a phone call. He stayed with the Jaguars less days than an average work week.

After only one season with the Edmonton Eskimos, Reigns put his football career behind him. The next stop would be the WWE, who signed the up-and-coming athlete to a contract on July 2010. He was sent down to FCW (later re-branded as NXT), where he made his pro debut under the name Roman Leakee. During his time in FCW, he won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship with Mike Dalton. He also faced off against future Shield brethren Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins long before they made it big.

Reigns spent a couple years in development until the time was right for his call-up to the main roster. Who knew the type of impact he’d make in the WWE?

2012 – 2014

At the 2012 Survivor Series, The Shield officially made their official debut. They immediately interjected themselves into the main event, costing both John Cena and Ryback the WWE Championship. At WWE TLC 2012, they won their first pay per view match, defeating the likes of Kane, Daniel Bryan and Ryback in a tables, ladders, & chairs match. For almost two whole years, The Shield ruled the roost. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose were practically untouchable.

At Extreme Rules 2013, Roman received his first championship, alongside Seth Rollins. They defeated Team Hell No for the WWE Tag Team Championship. For almost five months, Reigns and Rollins dominated the tag team scene.

The Shield, as a trio, are undefeated at WrestleMania. No one could stop The Shield, except…someone from within The Shield. On a June 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins attacked both Reigns and Ambrose, effectively putting an end to the group.

2014 – Present

The Shield breaking up was a true blessing in disguise for Roman Reigns. Why’s that? It’s because WWE turned Reigns into a main event star right off the bat. Getting hit in the back with a steel chair really paid off for Roman (though, personally, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone else).  The Big Dog was booked in two consecutive pay per view matches for the WWE Championship. Roman was well on his way to the top.

Many fans weren’t too fond of Roman’s success. The 2015 Royal Rumble is a prime example of the audience’s displeasure towards Roman’s rise. Reigns won the Royal Rumble match that year, as fans pelted him with jeers. Not even The Rock could quit down this angry crowd.

Reigns’ next stop was the main event of WrestleMania 31, where he faced off against “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and a sly opportunist in the form of Seth Rollins. Roman may have lost the match, but 2015 was still a great year for Reigns. He ended up winning the WWE Championship twice that year, in November against Dean Ambrose and then in December against Sheamus.

By the way, this guy is also a former WWE United States Champion, as he defeated “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev at Clash of Champions 2016. That championship reign is just another notch in Roman’s belt.

A lot of fans may hate on Roman Reigns. But The Guy delivers. He’s main evented three consecutive WrestleManias. At WrestleMania 32, he ran threw “The Game” Triple H to win his third world championship. And at WrestleMania 33, he defeated The Undertaker, in quite possibly The Deadman’s last match. Despite what any hater may say, I believe that Reigns has earned his keep in the main event scene. And what can only image what fortune the future holds for the juggernaut of WWE.

If you’re wondering what the illustration represents, you’ve come to the right place. Please say hello to Falzur Rahman Khan, who would be celebrating his 88th birthday today. Khan is best known for designing Chicago’s Sears Tower, known today as the Willis Tower, and for his humanitarian spirit.

Here’s the full story about Khan.

What Happened

Khan was considered the “Einstein of structural engineering” and an innovator in his field. One of his most significant contributions to architectural design of tall buildings was his “tube” design system. Mental Floss expands on this idea, but essentially, Khan designed buildings to be supported by its face, as opposed to the concrete and steel inside.

Khan designed the John Hancock Center in 1965 using a “trussed tube” structural system that differed from the standard practice at the time. The design gave the 100-story building its iconic X-brace along the exterior.

Khan also helped popularize the “framed tube and the tube-in-tube, the trussed tube, the bundled tube, the composite system” and other structural design practices.

The Chestnut-DeWitt buildings holds the honor of being Khan’s first completed building, opening its doors in 1964. Other buildings on Khan’s resume include: the U.S. Bank Center in Milwaukee, One Shell Square in New Orleans, 140 William Street in Melbourne, Australia and the Hajj Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saui Arabia.

However, the architect’s true claim to fame is the Sears Tower, completed in 1973 and owning the title of tallest building in the world until 1998. In 2009, the building became known as the Willis Tower. It stands 1,450 feet tall, but if you include the antennae, it reaches 1,729 feet tall. Khan used his famous “bundled tube” design for the Willis Tower. This means that the building has several connected tube frames, giving it a unique design and an economical building cost.

Khan’s tube designs are still commonly used today.

Who Is Falzur Rahman Khan

Khan was born in Dhaka, what is now in Bangladesh, on April 3, 1929. He dies on March 27, 1982 at age 52 of a heart attack.

Yasmin Sabina Khan, his daughter and author of Engineering Architecture: The Vision of Fazlur R. Khan, told Google the following:

A humanitarian in his personal as well as professional life, he was inspired by the belief that his work had a positive impact and he encouraged other engineers not to lose track of the purpose of their profession. When he was named Construction’s Man of the Year, he reflected, ‘The technical man must not be lost in his own technology. He must be able to appreciate life, and life is art, drama, music, and, most importantly, people.’

Khan arrived in the U.S. in 1952 after extensive studies at the Bengal Engineering College Shibpur in India and at the Ahsanullah Engineering College, University of Dhaka, which is now the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Within three years of his American arrival, he had two master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a PhD in structural engineering.

Nathaniel Joseph Rosa, a 31-year-old teacher’s aide, was shot dead by a homeowner after breaking into a house and using the shower on Saturday, April 1.

Rosa was killed inside the bathroom of a home in Belfair, Washington. The unidentified property owner has been charged with murder.

Police said the homeowner called 911 shortly after 8:00 A.M. on Saturday and told the dispatcher he had just shot an intruder.

The shooting occurred shortly before 8:00 A.M. at a residence on the 1500 block of Trails Road. The homeowner called the Sheriff’s Office to report the incident and cooperated with the investigation, Lt. Travis Adams said.

The suspect owns adjoining properties, one of which is his home, one he uses for a home-based business. He found the door of the home business property kicked in and the intruder, a white male, taking a shower inside. Words were exchanged, but the intruder did not leave.

The homeowner went next door, retrieved a handgun and returned, shooting the intruder multiple times, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Rosa, of Bothell, Washington, was reportedly visiting his mother in North Mason. The homeowner, who has been arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, was arraigned in court on Monday, April 3.

Mason County Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter on Saturday to comment on the situation:

“Lots of reactions to the arrest. There is more to the story that can not be released yet. You may reserve your judgement until facts are out.”

According to his Facebook, Rosa was a teacher’s aide at Woodmoor Elementary School in Bothell, which is about 80 miles from where he was shot dead.

So, AMC’s The Walking Dead wrapped up its lackluster seventh season last night and while most media outlets are using adjectives like “explosive” and “shocking” to describe the episode, I have an alternative descriptor: dumb.

I’m all for suspension of disbelief when it comes to entertainment; it’s necessary for viewing pleasure. But some of the choices made by the characters last night were so braindead it made the walkers look smart. Lets discuss a few of them.

Rick’s Plan

The entirety of season seven has revolved around Rick’s attempts to recruit neighboring communities to fight the Saviors, yet our hero hasn’t displayed a single ounce of foresight when it comes to these loose alliances. His handshake deal with those weird garbage people was a red flag from Day 1 (Side note: why the hell do these weirdo’s talk in abbreviated sentences? This is Virginia and we’re just a few years into the apocalypse, we haven’t yet reached whatever si-fi dystopian era The Walking Dead is going for here). Obviously, Rick has few options but to trust these zombie punk rockers, but perhaps he could’ve taken a few precautions in the worst-case-but-plausible scenario that they betray him. After all, they did push him down a garbage mountain to fight a gladiator zombie; maybe that should’ve clued Rick in to expect the unexpected. He placed a lot of faith in a group that he didn’t have a preexisting relationship with, as he did (somewhat) with the Hilltop.  So color me unsurprised when the punk rockers drew their guns on the Alexandrians to help Negan.

Then there was the choice to trust Dwight. I realize he was unaware of Negan’s plan, but listening to him was still idiotic. Rick, Daryl and company really only know him as a double-crossing murderer and Negan’s right-hand man. I know his information – Negan is coming tomorrow – scared the Alexandrians, but their strategy the entire season was to mount a joint attack with multiple groups. Expediting that plan with little manpower and without alerting the Kingdom or the Hilltop was stupidity at its fined. If Rick has learned anything from his run-ins with Shane, The Governor, Nicholas, Dawn Lerner, Tomas and every single other villain it’s to not believe a word they say. Better safe then sorry, even if Dwight was trying to help.

Negan’s Judgement 

Negan absolutely deserves credit for thinking ahead and cutting a deal with the garbage people. Unlike Rick, he’s playing the long game. But his decision to let Sasha out of his sight and into the coffin was questionable at best.

The leader of the Saviors prides himself on his judge of character. To the naked eye, Eugene is a coward and easily controlled but Sasha, as Negan observed himself, is a hardened and dignified badass who has been resistant to his plans. She’s also been a prisoner locked up in a closet for several days. Don’t you think it’s kind of odd that she would request to be locked in a coffin for several hours? And given that this is Sasha’s first assignment under the Saviors regime, wouldn’t it make sense to keep a closer eye on her until she earns their trust? The whole sequence seemed like a haphazardly put together plot convenience.

Battle Action

I’m glad Maggie, Ezekiel and everyone came to the rescue, but couldn’t AMC have given showrunner Scott Gimple a bigger budget for this climactic battle? More importantly, couldn’t they have staged a better action scene?

The entire garbage clan had the drop of the Alexandrians, but allow them to pick up their weapons before firing because…reasons. The Hilltop/Kingdom forces ride in to save the day, but are shooting in open fields and running around without any cover or plan of attack. They looked like a group of sixth-graders at a paint ball party. The action in this pivotal episode was uninspired and poorly crafted. On top of all that, it still seemed like The Saviors had more than enough manpower to clean the good guys out.

This entire “fight” was just like this entire season: boring.

I acknowledge that, overall, I’m nitpicking with my complaints. But The Walking Dead has never been a clever or subtle show with quality writing and fully formed characters. It’s at its best when it’s operating at a frenetic pace of pulpy noir action (and not lazy and poorly choreographed action like last night). It’s not the type of show that can afford serious creative misfires like this bloated and dragging season finale.

Beta Theta Pi, a fraternity at Washington State University, has announced plans to make its chapter house wheelchair accessible after a brother was paralyzed in a January accident.

Back in January, five members of Beta Theta Pi were in a car crash along I-90 that killed one and injured four. Two of the passengers, twin brothers John and Justin Crawford, were both injured, and John was left paralyzed.

As a result, in early March, the fraternity chapter voted unanimously to make the house wheelchair accessible.

The Beta Theta Pi fraternity decided to dedicate its annual Mom’s Weekend Auction to fund interior and exterior ramps to accommodate John’s wheelchair. While Mom’s Weekend auctions are usually not open to the public, this year, Beta Theta Pi decided to open it to everyone.

As John improved, his fraternity brothers said his optimistic outlook motivated them to make improvements at the Beta house that would ultimately allow John to live at the fraternity.

“When we heard about the accident, our house took it pretty hard,” Bailey Erickson, Beta Theta Pi’s Special Events Chairman said.

John and Bailey went to the same high school and played on the basketball team together.

“John is one of the most well-spirited guys. It would’ve been easy for him to just give up but he has been so optimistic,” Bailey said. “We were ecstatic when we heard that John wanted to return”

Crawford recently completed physical therapy at a rehab center in Colorado. The wheelchair ramps will be completed over the summer so Crawford can return to school in the fall.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will kick off their season with an Opening Day home date with the San Diego Padres. The Dodgers are one of the favorites to win the World Series this year, as they won the NL West last season with a 91-71 record and they are returning the lion’s share of their roster. But while the Dodgers have championship aspirations, the Padres are just looking to move out of the cellar. In 2016, the Padres finished in last place in the NL West with a 68-94 record.

Taking the mound for the Dodgers will be the untouchable Clayton Kershaw. The 29-year-old southpaw is the best pitcher on the planet, as he’s a three-time Cy Young Award winner and a six-time All-Star. Last season, a back injury limited Kershaw to 21 starts, but he was still dominant when he was able to toe the rubber. Kershaw went 12-4 with a microscopic 1.69 ERA and 0.73 WHIP while striking out 172 batters over 149 innings.

Trying to stifle the dangerous Dodgers’ bats will be Jhoulys Chacin. This will be the 29-year-old righty’s first start with the Padres, as he previously played for the Rockies, Diamondbacks, Braves, and Angels. Chacin had a brutal 2016 campaign, going 6-8 in 22 starts (34 appearances) with a 4.81 ERA and 1.44 WHIP while striking out 119 batters over 144 innings with the Braves and Angels.

At least eleven people have been killed in explosions that hit St. Petersburg’s metro system on Monday. Early reports indicate that at least 50 have been injured.

What Happened?

Blasts in two train carriages at metro stations in St. Petersburg, Russia, killed at least ten and injured at least 50, according to emergency services. Another explosive device was later found and made safe at a station nearby.

UPDATE 12:50 P.M. ET – The Telegraph is reporting that two search warrants have been issued in relation to the St. Petersburg Metro explosion.

Seven metro stations have been closed down: Victory Park, Electrosila, Moscow Gate, Frunzenskaya, Technological Institute, Sennaya Ploshchad, Gostiny Dvor. Evacuations are also under way. One report claims that at least one of the blasts involved a device filled with shrapnel. Another report says the blast was a suspected IED insive of a car at the station.

The explosion took place as the train was traveling between the stations Tekhnologichesky Institut and Sennaya Ploshchad of the St. Petersburg Metro.

The Russian Prosecutor general labeled this incident as a “terrorist attack.”

The suspect is said to have entered Petrogradskaya station roughly 20 minutes before the bomb detonated.

Hezbollah has already spoken out publicly to condemn the attacks, saying “We will stand with Russia.” At this time, no terrorist organization has taken explicit responsibility for the attack. However, a pre-attack propaganda poster with ISIS roots has been unearthed. The image shows an ISIS fighter standing in front of the Kremlin with the caption, “Kill them where you find them,” according to the Daily Express.

Three days of mourning starting from tomorrow has been announced in St. Petersburg, according to an order issued by the city’s governor, Sergey Poltavchenko.

Evan Jimenez, a 15-year-old baseball player at San Pedro High School, was attacked by gang members as he walked home after a game in Los Angeles.

Jimenez was left with serious injuries and was beaten beyond recognition when two men attacked him a few hours after his team won a baseball game by a score of 20-0 against nearby Gardena High School.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Tony Del Pinto said Jimenez was on his way to a friend’s house after the game on the night of Thursday, March 30, when he was attacked with an empty Jack Daniel’s bottle around 10:00 P.M.

Jimenez was walking a female friend home near the area of 2nd and Bandini streets when two men suddenly approached Evan.

“They approached him and asked him where he was from. He said that he wasn’t from anywhere. A Hispanic guy pushed him and my nephew fell and got back up. Then the Hispanic guy grabbed a bottle from the floor and hit him in the face with it,” aunt Debra Alvarado told ABC.

The suspects fled the scene after beating Jimenez. He was left unconscious in the street after the attack, found by a passer-by, and taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California. He was later transferred to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he is being treated in the ICU.

No suspects have been arrested in the case and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who has information on the suspects to contact police.

A GoFundMe page that was set up to help pay for Jimenez’s medical expenses has raised over $56,000 in one day. Its target goal is $100,000.

I cannot imagine the financial worry she must have and it is the last thing she needs to think about right now. Julie Roginsky, born April 25, 1973, is a Democratic strategist, television personality, and contributor to the Fox News network. Roginsky appears mainly as a co-host on Outnumbered and an occasional co-host of The Five.

Roginsky, who was born in Moscow, Russia, was primarily raised by her grandparents until she and her parents were allowed to leave the Soviet Union in 1980. Prior to settling in the United States, Roginsky and her family lived briefly in Paris and London.

While in the United States, Roginsky was raised in New York City and Plainsboro Township, New Jersey. She graduated from Princeton Day School and was awarded both her B.A. and M.A from Boston University. Prior to working at Fox News, Roginsky was a contributor at CNBC. Her columns have appeared on FoxNews.com, CNBC.com, Politico, Forbes and the Star-Ledger.

According to New York magazine writer Gabriel Sherman, Roginsky recently filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the network, former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and current co-president Bill Shine.

Spokespersons for Fox News Channel and 21st Century Fox were not able to offer immediate comment on Roginsky’s suit, which was filed Monday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York. The suit was filed against Fox News Channel, Ailes and Bill Shine, a longtime staffer who is currently co-president of the network.

“We look forward to a public trial in front of a jury in New York City,” said Nancy Erika Smith of the Smith Mullin law firm in Montclair N.J.  Smith represented Carlson in her lawsuit against Ailes. Carlson was awarded as much as $20 million in a settlement after alleging Ailes had subjected her to sexual come-one and other unwanted behavior. Her lawsuit sparked an internal investigation that resulted in lurid disclosures from several current and former Fox News employees about Ailes’ behavior. Since that matter was resolved, 21st Century Fox has offered settlements to other female staffers. In an unrelated matter, The New York Times reported Saturday that Bill O’Reilly, the network’s star anchor, has also faced allegations of unwanted and inappropriate behavior from female employees.

The lawsuit comes on the heels of a New York Times report that claims the cable news giant has paid five women a total of $13 million in sexual assault settlements due to allegations the women made against the network and its star host, Bill O’Reilly.
