Scarlett Johansson Photos: Must-See Pictures Of Actress

It’s no secret that women get the short end of the stick when it comes to equality in the working world. Surprisingly, that holds especially true in Hollywood where the gender pay gap has become a hot point of debate in recent years. But thanks to a handful of A-list actresses, the landscape is beginning to change for the better.

Scarlett Johansson is without a doubt one of the most powerful women in Hollywood. Her name alone can get a movie made and push it to surprising box office heights (see: Lucy‘s $469 million worldwide). She’s leveraged her beauty and talent into major bucks in the acting world. In 2016, Johansson was the third-highest earning actress at $25 million. Her salary for Ghost in the Shell is said to be an impressive $17.5 million. Between her, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson, the pay scale is coming closer to the sweet spot.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt Johansson’s earning potential that she is ridiculously gorgeous. She was named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive in 2013 and, well, it’s easy to see why.

In celebration of Johansson’s new film and her general amazingness, we’ve put together a gallery of some her most gorgeous and jaw-dropping photos. She truly is a beauty.

Enjoy.

A former contestant on America’s Next Top Model is one of four people who were injured during a shooting at a Houston apartment complex Sunday night.

What Happened?

According to TMZ, Rusher, who appeared on the fourth season of the modeling reality show, is in critical condition after the shooting which claimed the lives of two other women.

Police are currently searching for the suspect. Officials say the gunmen drove by the apartment complex and then opened fire using a high-powered rifle.

The shooting is said to have taken place after the victims got into an argument with a resident at the Haverstock Hill apartments around 6:30 P.M. ET. Three men were in a four-door white car, two of whom got out to argue with the victims. Then one of the men retrieved a semi-automatic rifle from the trunk of the car and fired 15 to 18 shots at the victims before fleeing the scene.

One person was announced dead at the scene while another died later at the hospital.

‘I’m just frustrated at the fact that here it is again at Haverstock Apartments,’ Edward Buford, senior pastor at Sunrise Community Church, told KHOU. ‘There needs to be more focus on places like this. There needs to be more money for ministries that are willing to be here Monday through Saturday and not just on Sunday.’

‘Haverstock Hills has been a project the Sheriff’s office had for several years now,’ Harris County Deputy Thomas Gilliand told KTRK. ‘We do have an office here, we do have deputies that work here overtime.’

At this time last year, Hillary Clinton may have thought she’d be in Washington D.C. full-time come 2017. As we know, that didn’t quite happen, but the results of the election aren’t going to keep her away from the nation’s capital.

Clinton will return to D.C. this Friday to make a speech at Georgetown University and give awards to four individuals who promoted Colombian peace efforts.

According to a Georgetown press release, her speech will focus “on the important role that women can play in international politics and peace building efforts.”

In addition to honoring the four Colombians – Humberto De la Calle, Maria Paulina Riveros, Elena Ambrosi and Jineth Bedoya who helped achieve a “historic peace agreement that ended over 50 years of conflict in Colombia,” according to the university – the former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential nominee is expected to discuss the annual Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards ceremony.

Clinton has largely stayed out of the public’s eye since she lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. “Secretary Clinton has been a strong advocate for the role of women in peace processes as an important means to end hostilities and achieve sustainable peace,” Georgetown said.

The Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security is collaborating with the Hillary Rodham Clinton Fellowship Program, which provides annual fellowship awards to master’s graduates who plan to spend a year working at the institute. The goal is examine and highlight “the roles and experiences of women in peace and security efforts worldwide through cutting edge research, global convening and strategic partnerships.”

Lonzo Ball, Blink Twice If You Need Rescuing

I have been on an absolute roller coaster of emotions with the Ball family over the last two months.

Eight months ago, I had no idea who LaVar Ball was. I barely knew who Lonzo Ball was. What I did know was that his little brother was calling his shots from half court. But other than that, the family rarely crossed my mind.

Then LaVar Ball burst onto the scene like a new WWE heel and I immediately started to despise the entire family. I went from not knowing who Lonzo Ball was to fully hoping his NBA career is a failure. Then I bet on UCLA a couple of times in the early rounds of the tournament, so I began to root for Lonzo while still totally despising LaVar. Then, after a while, I just found myself feeling kind of sorry for Lonzo. I mean, imagine having to walk around life with everyone on Earth knowing that man is your father. I don’t care what he’s like behind the scenes. Perception is reality and the national perception is that your father is a clown. Your father is supposed to be your superhero, not a source of embarrassment.

Now, after about six weeks of varying emotions towards the Ball family, I have decided that I just straight up feel bad for Lonzo and hope he succeeds despite his father’s antics. Having LaVar Ball as your father is as much of a punishment as any person deserves in life.

I mean, just look at the kid: he looks MISERABLE.

Lonzo, blink twice if you need rescuing. And if your dad ever pushes you too far, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline is 1-800-273-8255.

A new initiative called Howard West will bring one of the nation’s largest and most prominent historically black colleges to the Google headquarters.

Starting this summer, Howard will open a satellite campus at Google HQ in an effort to bring more African-American computer-science students into the industry.

According to Business Insider, approximately 30 junior and senior computer-science majors will spend three months taking classes at the Googleplex in Mountain View, California.

Via Business Insider:

Students at Howard West will learn from current Google employees and Howard faculty with the goal of establishing themselves in an industry where black engineers are largely absent.

In 2016, for instance, just 1% of Google’s technical engineering staff identified as black. Meanwhile, 37% identified as Asian and 57% identified as white.

“We’d like to see Howard West alumni matriculate into full time positions in tech, whether it’s at Google or other companies,” Dr. Wayne Frederick, president of Howard University, tells Business Insider. “We’d like to see Howard West alumni become the tech and business leaders of tomorrow.”

As a part of the program, students at Howard West will not need to pay any extra tuition to attend and will also receive a stipend to cover living expenses. The program will happen at pre-existing Google facilities.

According to the San Fransisco Chronicle, Howard declined to disclose their investment into the Howard West program. Furthermore, Google said that it is not paying Howard and that Howard is not paying Google for the new campus. Google said its only costs are physical space and the time of its employees who will serve as teachers.

Justin Terney, an Oklahoma cop, has died from his injuries after being shot while chasing a fleeing suspect after a traffic stop. 22-year-old Terney had just joined the Tecumseh Police Department last year.

Terney died from his injuries in the hospital on the morning of Monday, March 27, after suffering three gunshot wounds during the confrontation the night before.

The incident began when Terney pulled over a vehicle in Tecumseh around 11:30 P.M. on the night of Sunday, March 26.

Terney was patting down the unnamed suspect when the man ran off towards a wooded area near Benson Park in Oklahoma. Terney shot the escaping suspect with a taser but the shot had no effect on him, according to the Tecumseh Police Department. Terney then pursued the suspect on foot when the man opened fire, striking the 22-year-old three times in the stomach. Terney returned fire, hitting the suspect four times.

Both Terney and the suspect were brought to the hospital. Terney remained in critical condition until he passed away due to his injuries around 9:00 A.M. on March 27.

Via KOCO:

“Our departments need all the prayers we can get at this point. We got officers who’s never experienced this, never been through anything like this,” said J.R. Kidney, Assistant Police Chief for the Tecumseh Police Department.

The suspect remains in ICU.

A professor at the Iowa State University is facing backlash after he asked his students to write an account of the September 11 attacks from the perspective of Al-Qaeda member, an assignment that has angered many online. The professor, James Strohman, told his class, “Don’t worry about the fact you don’t agree with the terrorists, the point of the exercise is to consider completely different perspectives.”

Strohman, who has taught at Iowa State for more than a decade, acknowledged the attack was “heinous,” but advised his international relations students to consider “how the terrorist network or a non-Western historian may have interpreted the events.”

Via The College Fix:

“Write a paper that gives a historical account of 911 from the perspective of the terrorist network. In other words, how might Al-Qaeda or a non-Western historian describe what happened.”

“Don’t worry about the fact you don’t agree with the terrorists, the point of the exercise is to consider completely different perspectives,” the assignment adds.

Strohman’s students were asked to use their imaginations and make their papers as interesting as possible while following a 500-word minimum.

Maryland High School Shooting Plot Foiled By Suspect’s Own Father

A female high school student was planning to bomb her own school in Frederick County, Maryland, as well as to shoot people, police say.

What Happened?

Nichole Cevario, 18, gathered bomb-making materials and possessed a shotgun to attack Catoctin High School April 5, according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.

“[S]he had the means and equipment to have caused a significant life safety event at Catoctin High School if she had followed through with the threat,” police said in a statement.

Cevario, an honor student, was pulled out of class on Thursday and taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The police first began looking into Cevario after her father notified the school on Thursday, school officials said.

Police then searched the family’s home in Thurmont, Maryland where they found weapons and a journal. Police say they found a shotgun with ammunition and bomb-making materials including magnesium tape, pipes with end caps, fireworks, shrapnel, and fuse material.

Cevario reportedly used the journal to write down her plan, with police saying she “spelled out a detailed shooting event that she planned to execute on a specific date in April.”

The journal included Cevario’s planned attack, information on the school’s emergency protocols, and the school resource deputy on duty.

“The journal was very detailed, including a time line that revealed how she was going to execute the plot, and her expectations at each stage of the event,” police said.

“I’ve never seen anything like this, to be honest with you,” Frederick County Sheriff Charles Jenkins said. “It shocks the conscious to see someone of that age could be thinking like that.”

Officers believed her father’s tip may have saved many lives.

“The Sheriff’s Office is extremely appreciative of the parent’s actions in bringing this potentially deadly incident to the proper authority’s attention, promptly, so that a positive conclusion could be achieved,” the statement said. “I truly believe what they did averted a catastrophe at Catoctin High School, and they continue right now to be extremely cooperative,” Jenkins said. His opinion was only bolstered after police went through Cevario’s diary.

“I feel, based on what I read and what my investigator concluded, we thought this was going to be carried out. There’s no doubt in our minds that we averted a disaster up there,” Jenkins said.

Superintendent Terry Alban recorded a message about school safety that was later posted to YouTube.

Who Is Nichole Cevario?

Nichole Cevario is an 18-year-old student at Catoctin High School in Maryland. She planned to set off a bomb at the school and shoot classmates and faculty with a shotgun. Police say that it was clear she had mental health issues.

Officials say she acted alone and once she is released from the hospital, she will be charged with possession of explosive and incendiary material with intent to create a destructive device.

“We had no prior indication before we got a warning from a parent,” Michael Dorrer, a Frederick County Public Schools official, said of the potential danger Cevario represented. “This is a great example of how communities come together with trusting relationships, open communication, to keep our schools safe, and that’s exactly what happened here.”

Daughter Of Parliament Terrorist Refused Father’s Orders For Her To Wear A Burqa

Teegan Harvey, the teenage daughter of Parliament terrorist Khalid Masood, defied her father’s orders to wear a burqa and headed to her prom night in a revealing backless dress.

While Harvey’s older sister converted to Islam, Teegan, 18, refused to follow Masood’s wishes.

Via NY Post:

Family friends said radicalized Muslim covert Masood, who killed four people and wounded more than 50 during an 82-second rampage in Westminster last week, demanded both his daughters become Muslims and don the veil.

Older sister Andi, now 24, converted to Islam six years ago and left her mum, Jane Harvey, and sister, Teegan, behind at their home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, to move in with her dad and his new partner in Luton, Bedfordshire, about 35 miles north of London.

They later moved to Birmingham, where Andi is said to have been persuaded by Masood to cover herself in a burqa. She is also reported to have changed her name to an Arabic one.

However, Teegan refused. Her mother Jane, a managing director of a chemicals company, desperately tried to prevent her daughter from joining her father.

Masood, born Adrian Elms, met Jane Harvey at Aaron Chemicals in Bodiam, East Sussex, the same chemical company that Jane now runs.

The two moved to Northiam in 1992 had their first daughter, Andi Jay, before Teegan was born in 1998.

Jane ended the relationship with Masood in 2000 when he was arrested and jailed for two years over a knife attack. After his release from prison, Masood moved 30 miles west to Eastbourne and was later charged with attempted murder in 2003. After being acquitted by a jury, he spent six months in jail, which is where he became radicalized.

‘True Detective’ Season 3 May Be Alive At HBO After All

True Detective Season 3

HBO

The first season of HBO’s True Detective unfurled an engaging serial killer mystery with gorgeous gothic undertones and imagery bolstered by phenomenal lead performances from Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The second season of True Detective…did not. In fact, it was flaming hot garbage.

As a result, HBO has been very skittish to continue with the anthology series and the series has lain dormant for the last two years. However, Entertainment Weekly is now reporting that True Detective season three may finally be moving forward.

According to EW, creator and showrunner Nic Pizzolatto has written at least the first two episodes of a possible third season. There are also rumors swirling that Emmy-winning writer-producer David Milch – who HBO purists know from his Deadwood and NYPD Blue days – will be joining to work with Pizzolatto. This is good news considering all of the behind the scenes drama Pizzolatto was rumored to be involved in.

It is unknown how accurate EW’s unconfirmed report is or the extent of Pizzolatto and Milch’s rumored collaboration at this time. Milch’s writing and showrunning track record is impressive, though he is not expected to assume showrunning duties for season three. In fact, Pizzolatto isn’t signed on as showrunner either, leaving a potentially lucrative and attractive vacancy for anyone brave enough to try and right the ship after season two’s letdown.

It’s also important to remember that HBO has not officially greenlit a third season of True Detective. All of this is just playful conjecture until the network releases an official statement.

By now, fans of the show are familiar with its rise-and-fall first two seasons (though both performed well in the ratings). Talk about a potential third season has gone both ways since the second ended. In July 2016, HBO head of programming Casey Bloys said “…both Nic and HBO are open to another season. I don’t think Nic has a take and he’s working on some other projects. We’re open to somebody else writing it and Nic supervising it. It’s a valuable franchise, it’s not dead, we just don’t have a take for a third season yet.”

We’ll leave the long-running saga of Milch’s potential Deadwood reunion movie for another day. For now, we’re intrigued by the combo of Milch and Pizzolatto collaborating on a third season of True Detective. Just please leave out any and all bird masks.

Oregon High Schooler Drowns After Log She Was Taking Selfie On Pinned Her Underwater

Aurora Genai Sheffel, a high school cheerleader from Eugene, Oregon, died while taking a selfie on the beach with her friends during spring break.

Sheffel, 14, and her friends were standing on a log taking selfies before the log they were playing on rolled on top of her, trapping her underwater.

While bystanders were eventually able to pull Sheffel free from the log, she eventually died at a local hospital soon after.

Via Register-Guard:

David Wederquist said during an emotional phone conversation Sunday that Sheffel and two of her friends were playing on the log and taking selfies at the start of spring break. Her two friends jumped off; she didn’t.

“They were just taking pictures and posing,” he said. The tide was receding heavily, according to a news release from Sgt. Kyle Hove of the Oregon State Police. Bystanders were able to pull her out from under the log and call for help about 4 p.m. Saturday. A Bandon police officer administered CPR, and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but Sheffel died at Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center in Bandon soon afterward.

Wederquist also told the Register-Guard that Sheffel was celebrating her recent selection to North Eugene High School’s varsity cheerleading squad,  a rare feat for a freshman.

“She was really mostly a nerd,” he said, affection in his voice. “Straight As. But she thought she’d give cheerleading a try.”

The North Eugene cheerleading team released the following statement on their Facebook page:

Sadness in the loss of an amazing highlander cheerleader. Aurora left us yesterday after a terrible and unexpected tragedy. She was only a freshman but was already such an amazing person and cheerleader. Aurora was a happy person and her excitement for life was truly contagious. You couldn’t help but smile when you were around her. She was a great big sister and she loved loved loved her little ones.

To my squad: let us remember that although Aurora was small in size she always made a big impact on each of us and the ripple of her loss will create waves of love we will have to let wash over us. We will share in the memories and the sorrow because no one person can handle it all.#flyhighlilone #foreveraflyer #squadstrong.

A GoFundMe page was created to cover Sheffel’s funeral expenses and has exceeded the $5000 requested in less than 10 hours.

NIT Tournament 2017: Bracket, Game Times, Dates & TV Channels

$

March Madness exists in more than just the NCAA Tournament, as the NIT has also been pretty wild. For the first time ever, an eight seed, CSU Bakersfield, has gone all the way to the semifinals. To put that into perspective, the eight seed is essentially the 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The NIT Final Four is set to kick-off tomorrow, with all the action taking place at Madison Square Garden.

The NIT Tournament offers teams that felt they were snubbed from the NCAA Tournament to prove the country and the selection committee wrong. The last remaining teams are Georgia Tech, CSU Bakersfield, UCF, and TCU. The NIT has surpassed expectations, and there is not one top seed that made it to the Final Four.

To no surprise, the NIT gets overshadowed by the Big Dance, but if you’re praying for more great basketball to watch to get you through this week, look no further than the NIT. The first matchup features the Cinderella of the league, the CSU Bakersfield Runners, taking on the six seed Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Yellow Jackets know a thing or two about stiff competition from playing in the ACC.

The second matchup of the semifinals pits the fourth-seeded TCU Horned Frogs against another four seed, the UCF Knights. If you forgot, TCU stunned Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals and have carried that momentum into the NIT.

Below is the fully updated NIT Bracket, along with scores, dates, times, and channels.

Introducing The Las Vegas Raiders

Raiders Move To Vegas: Full Story & Must-See Details

Getty Images

A historic decision has been levied at the NFL’s annual spring meetings. The league has voted almost unanimously 31-1, (Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross voted against the motion) to move the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report on the move as he was live at the spring meetings.

Via ESPN, Raiders owner Mark Davis stated:

“The Raiders were born in Oakland, and Oakland will always be part of our DNA. We know that some fans will be disappointed and even angry, but we hope that they do not direct that frustration to the players, coaches and staff.”

It is a big step for a franchise that has faced a lot of unknowns heading into the future. Davis wanted a new stadium for the franchise, especially as the team grows and becomes a bigger Super Bowl contender.

What Happened?

The amount of revenue generated by the archaic Oakland Coliseum cannot match the amount generated by more advanced stadiums and this has hampered the Raiders organization for quite some time. The team attempted to sell the city of Oakland on building a new stadium but the city declined the idea. It also did not help that the Raiders shared the stadium with the Oakland Athletics.

This vote signifies a turning point in the history of the Raiders organization, a franchise that has spent 45 of its 58 seasons in Oakland.

The team attempted to make a move to Los Angeles, but the Rams and the Chargers beat them to the punch. It appears the NFL has finally gotten over the stigma that Las Vegas continues to hold as the gambling capital of the world, something that they did not want NFL teams affiliated with.

What Now?

In the immediate future, the Raiders will return to the Coliseum and will continue to play there on a year by year basis. Until the team actually moves to Las Vegas (which seems to be when the new stadium is complete), their names will not change. Once they move, they’ll be known as the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 16-week camp is absolutely grueling, featuring drills and discipline training that I couldn’t even imagine completing. But if you can survive the program, it’s benefits are crystal clear. According to HBO, “The program reports a recidivism rate under 15%, while the national rate of prison recidivism is approximately 70%.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars and serves as an executive producer for Rock and a Hard Place, which will follow 38 convicted felons’ journey for redemption. ‘MLB The Show 17’ Review: Must-See Details & Screenshots

Where do you go once you’ve stomped the competition into oblivion and achieved your wildest dreams? The developers at SIE San Diego face the same quandary as the Chicago Cubs entering this season. While it remains to be seen how the Cubbies will handle the heavy crowns they wear, the code monkeys behind MLB The Show 17 show they can rock success with ease. Having long since perfected the baseball sim to the point that their rivals stopped even trying, the devs keep pushing their game forward with the urgency of a team locked in a pennant race. The only baseball game in town somehow keeps getting better.

Games: MLB The Show 17
Consoles: PS4 (reviewed)
Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
Developer: SIE San Diego Studio
Release Date: March 28

Start with the wholly revamped Road to the show mode, which lets you live out your fantasies of catching on with a minor league club and working your way up the farm system. You guide your player through the struggles of BP, benchings and off-field distractions in a dramatic climb to the top with genuine emotional impact. If you’re the type of player who likes to slog through an entire season, the game wastes less of your time with interactive sim modes that let you blast through a game in less than five minutes, making a few crucial managerial calls that often mean the difference between victory and defeat. What amounts to a text-based baseball RPG never speeds things up so fast that control slips away. You can jump in any time to swing away at a crucial at-bat or take the mount to lock down a save.

The visuals and animations get noticeable upgrades, with uncanny facial gestures, locked-in batting stances, windups and throwing motions. The announcer team peppers its running commentary with relevant side stories, stats and opinions, and the stadium and crowd renders are authentic enough to show off the deep-dive scouting that went into nailing every aspect of the feel and ambiance of MLB. With the promise of continually updated rosters and player ratings promised as the endless season rolls on, the game will shape and grow in real time as the long march to October goes on. Online franchise geeks and roster-tinkering micromanagers will find plenty to appreciate here.

While all the innovations that push the game toward more realism grab most of the attention, the update that most entranced me was the guilty-pleasure retro mode. Dressed down with the controls, sound effects and exaggerations of 1980s and early 90s-style baseball sims, the mode brings along current graphic models and animations, forging an awkward but irresistible combination of old school and new. With cover player Ken Griffey Jr. shouting out encouragement and trash talking, and a slide whistle accompanying fly balls, I wished you could play through the entire game that way. Alas, retro mode is exhibition-only.

More than just about any sport other than hockey, baseball is a divisive game that you either love with all your might or avoid at all costs. What lifts MLB The Show 17 to the heights it achieves is that it makes no effort to pander to casual fans, instead focusing on feeding the beastly appetites of sabermetrics-obsessed superfans who devour every nuance of the old-fashioned game. By ignoring the haters and going all-in on the joyful oddities of MLB — connecting its historical charms with modern-day bombast — this year’s game runs fast and fearless on the basepath.

The Americans Live Stream

FX

FX’s The Americans continues its fifth season tonight with episode #4, “What’s the Matter with Kansas?”

Last week saw Philip and Elizabeth travel to Oklahoma to do a little more digging on America’s suspected attack on Russia’s wheat supply. While this is the first time The Americans has very clearly presented the U.S. as the bad guys, the unlucky lab director who met his end may still weigh on Philip’s conscience. Earlier in the episode he lamented how the Soviet Union has more land than America, yet still cannot feed their people. Elizabeth – always the patriotic of the two – brought him back around. But though the couple may be making headway on their investigation, their issues with Paige are continuing to grow.

Looking for how to live stream tonight’s episode? We got you covered.

Amanda Ayres Kerwin, a 37-year-old Florida woman, was arrested at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, March 24, for charging into a restricted Secret Service area while intoxicated. Kerwin entered the area a couple of hours after an appearance from First Lady Melania Trump.

Kerwin, 37, was charged by West Palm Beach Police with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence over the incident on Friday, March 24. She was reportedly so intoxicated she was “talking to empty cars.”

First lady Melania Trump made an appearance a couple of hours prior at the Palm Beach County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day fundraising dinner. It is unclear whether Kerwin was attending the event or if she is a club member.

Via WFTV:

Kerwin rushed toward a Secret Service restricted area, “which was perceived as a danger to another person,” the report stated. After Kerwin tried to rush into the security zone, Secret Service agents escorted her outside and police were summoned.

When Officer Alexander Tfank arrived shortly before 11:00 P.M., he smelled alcohol on Kerwin’s breath, according to the report. Kerwin was yelling profanity at one of the security guards, was talking to unoccupied vehicles, and was making “incoherent statements,” the report said.

At 11:23 P.M., officers took Kerwin to the Palm Beach Police Department, where she refused to get into a holding cell, according to the report. They eventually shut the door and later took Kerwin to the Palm Beach County Jail.

According to records from the Palm Beach County Jail, Kerwin was released on her own recognizance on Saturday, March 25.

This Chick Has Her Tinder Matches PayPal Her $5 Before Promptly Blocking Them

I know ‘savage’ has been a trendy slang word for a couple of years now, but this may very well take the cake for the most savage thing I’ve ever seen on the internet.

Meet Maggie Archer, who at first glance, seems like your standard 20-year-old from St. Louis. Well, you know that saying about ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’? I don’t, but I feel like it would apply here.

Archer has essentially weaponized Tinder by tricking thirsty dudes into sending her money. Her profile simply reads, “Send me $5, see what happens.”

And, well, unsurprisingly, a bunch of dudes have:

Archer tells Buzzfeed News that because she’s not actually promising anything, it’s a foolproof plan:

“It’s really a foolproof plan, because I’m not actually promising anything, I just say ‘see what happens.”

“Some men get creepy and assume if they offer a lot more, like hundreds, something will actually happen, which of course it doesn’t,” she said.

While she has gotten mostly positive reactions from women, she says that she has received some negative responses from ‘mostly men,’ to whom I say this: grow the f*ck up. If a chick wants to take advantage of all the straight MORONS out there who think with their cylindrical brains, not only is that her right, but I respect the hell out of it. Hustle never sleeps, especially when all you have to do is put a mysterious caption in your Tinder bio and let the idiots come flocking.

Also, Maggie, ‘sup? I’m not stupid enough to send you money, but I’d definitely take you out, so if you read this, peep my bio and hit me up.
