Skylar Russell, a 23-year-old False River Academy teacher, turned herself into the New Roads Police Department Wednesday morning and is being charged with attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile. New Roads Police Chief Kevin McDonald said investigators received a complaint Monday night of two suspicious vehicles in a parking lot on Olinde Street in New Roads, Louisiana. False River Academy, just off Main Street in New Roads, has students in grades Pre-K through 12.  The school said Russell was fired Tuesday.

According to McDonald, via WAFB, Russell and an unnamed student at the False River Academy had been together in one of the cars when the officers arrived, hence the charge of attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Russell was issued a misdemeanor summons Wednesday morning for the charge, however, the police chief said charges could be upgraded as investigators are going through the phones of both Russell and the student.

However, Chief McDonald said there was no sexual conduct:

“We were able to determine that there was no sexual conduct between the two,” McDonald said.

I can’t wrap my brain around how nothing could have happened. Russell was already in the car, meaning she knew the risk and was still down for the cause. So, does that mean it’s the student who backed out? But how?

Let me tell you something, if you’re a 17-year-old kid and a 23-year-old smoking hot teacher comes on to you, and you AREN’T about it, then you’re clearly a f*cking alien. Not the aliens that Trump hates, like an actual, not-of-this-Earth alien.

If you’re an alien and you’re going to be residing on our planet, you need to play by our rules, and our rules are clear: if you’re a teenage boy, you best pounce when a hot teacher wants to sleep with you.

Not only is it the American way, it’s the human way.

Does anti-doping mean steroids? Being from America, whenever I hear the term ‘anti-doping,’ I think of a dude sticking a syringe in his ass. However, given the BRIEF statement released by the FA, it doesn’t appear that steroids are involved (unfortunately):

Manchester City Football Club has been charged by the Football Association for allegedly breaking anti-doping rules.

 A short statement released by the FA read: “Manchester City have been charged in relation to The FA’s Rules on Anti-Doping.

“It is alleged the club failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).

Manchester City has until January 19 to respond to the charges.

It has yet to be determined how this will affect the club and the remainder of the Premier League season. Manchester City, 13-3-4, currently sits fourth in the Premier League table, behind Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham.

Jesus Christ, that was intense. I haven’t seen so much blood since Stone Cold got his forehead busted open at WrestleMania 13. The shirtless guy had some success, but at the end of the day, the man in the wife beater had a size advantage that was just too much for him to handle.

I loved how they hugged it out at the end of the fight, though. I’ve seen so many fight videos over my blogging career that it’s tough to surprise me, but seeing those two embrace was a shocking turn of events. The dude in the wife beater even wanted a kiss, which I thought came with a mandatory 3-5 year prison sentence in the south. Sportsmanship: don’t leave home without it.

By far the worst part of the video was that jackass lady behind the camera. Yelling at them to stop fighting while recording it all on her phone??? What a goddamn hypocrite. Either put the phone down and try to break it up or call play-by-play of the savage violence. You can’t have it both ways, toots.

10 students are being treated for minor injuries after a school bus rolled over a guardrail on Route 95 south, south of Route 20 in Waltham, Massachusetts. The bus was carrying 22 students, grades six through eight, from the Curtis Middle School in Sudbury.

Of the 22 students, ten were taken to Children’s Hospital with minor injuries. The other 12 are also being taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons. However, not all of the students are going to the same hospital. Some students are being transported to Children’s, while others are headed to Newton-Wellesley and St Elizabeth’s hospitals.

A number of ambulances were seen lined up along the side of the highway and several people were seen on stretchers at the scene. Firefighters and state police are on the scene.

Only left lane on Route 95 is open at the scene, as all the other lanes closed to facilitate medical response and the crash investigation. The investigation is ongoing.

A fire broke out on the 13th floor of the famous Watergate Complex in Washington, DC. The fire happened on the 700 block of New Hampshire Avenue Northwest around 1:45 P.M. The fire department is on the scene and the fire has since been put out. The DCFD is dealing with smoke conditions on several floors.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the fire. Fire officials said there is water on the fire but smoke has impacted several floors. There were no injuries.

The Watergate Building is one of the most infamous buildings in America. Back in 1972, the Democratic National Committee offices were located on the sixth floor of the Watergate Hotel and Office Building. Operatives from Richard Nixon’s campaign broke into said offices while Nixon attempted to cover it up. This led to information about the break-in and the cover-up being leaked to the press by the anonymous source known only as “Deep Throat.”

Although Nixon was ultimately re-elected, the Watergate scandal forced him to resign from office in August 1974. Nixon is still the first and only American president forced to resign.

Is it ironic that a building famous for and synonymous with American government corruption caught fire on the 13th (!!!) floor on the day of Trump’s first press conference since winning the election? That’s for you to decide.

The T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia is being evacuated due to a bomb threat. T.C. Williams is famous for being the school portrayed in Remember The Titans, which was a dramatization of the consolidation of Alexandria’s three public high schools into one during the fall of 1971. The school is located at 3330 King St. in Alexandria, Virginia.

Authorities evacuated T.C. Williams Wednesday afternoon around 1:50 P.M., Alexandria City sent out an alert about the bomb threat at 1:57 P.M.

At this time, there is no further information about the incident other than there was an evacuation due to a perceived bomb threat, but the students are returning to class.

The Butler Bulldogs will head to Omaha, Nebraska to take on the Creighton Bluejays in a Big East clash on Wednesday night. The #12 ranked Bulldogs have gotten off to a fast start, posting a 14-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. Butler has rose to the occasion when facing ranked opponents this season, going 4-0 against teams in the top 25. Their biggest win of the year came last week, as they beat the top-ranked Villanova Wildcats 66-58 in front of a raucous Hinkle Fieldhouse crowd.

It won’t be an easy task for Butler to extend their record to 5-0 against ranked opponents for two main reasons. Number one, all four of their previous games against top 25 teams took place at home. And secondly, Creighton just happens to be really damn good.

After beating both St. John’s and Providence on the road last week, Creighton was ranked #8 in Monday’s AP poll. It’s the highest ranking the school has ever gotten, and they are clearly very deserving of being placed among the country’s elite teams. The Bluejays are 15-1 overall and their 3-1 record in conference play ties them with Butler and Xavier for second place in the Big East.

For Michigan senior guard Andrew Dakich, the scare of his life turned into the best moment of his life, as campus police entered a team meeting on Monday and approach Dakich with a pretend warrant before sharing the news that he was a recipient of a scholarship for the winter semester.

“I was thinking, the last three and a half years what could have possibly happened (to require police) and I didn’t come up with anything luckily, so I thought I was in the clear,” Dakich said to the Detriot Free Press.

As the officers walked towards him, Dakich thought about asking to talk in private or if he was being punked, however he ended up deciding it was real, so he let the police do their job.

 “They came out with a document, some warrant to get out of there, so it was really scary for me,” he said.

The semester scholarship for Dakich was a staff decision, a year after fellow walk-on Sean Lonergan got it for a semester last year.

Let the countdown begin. Nintendo has confirmed that its Nintendo Switch event will stream live on January 12, 2017, from Tokyo, Japan. Highly anticipated and somewhat mysterious, the Switch has had speculations swirling all over the internet ever since its trailer reveal. We did learn that Yooka Laylee has been confirmed but as for that Skyrim port and the unnamed Mario title with Samba De Amigo vibes? Only time can answer.

Nintendo previously announced a list of confirmed video game developers in partnership for the Nintendo Switch. It’s quite a list and certainly worth reading, especially for those looking to build up the excitement and refresh our memories.

Come January 12, we’ll have all the updates, but until then let’s watch that Switch trailer just… one more time. Just one. (Man, Nintendo sure has a knack for picking out music.)

News broke late last night that the San Diego Chargers plan to announce that they are moving to LA as early as Thursday, ending their 55-year stint in San Diego. The Chargers played their inaugural season in Los Angeles in 1960 before moving to San Diego in 1961.

Wednesday night, the Chargers notified NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that they plan to move to Los Angeles for the 2017 season, according to sources.

As one league source cautioned Wednesday night, Chargers chairman Dean Spanos had yet to send a formal relocation letter to the NFL or notify public officials in Los Angeles or San Diego of the team’s move — or even tell the members of the Chargers organization about his plans. The source insisted nothing is final.

But unless Spanos unexpectedly changes his mind at the last moment — and there certainly have been enough plot twists in this San Diego stadium saga — the Chargers will be moving to Los Angeles.

A team employee told The Associated Press that the Chargers have scheduled an 11 a.m. ET staff meeting for Thursday, the topic of which hadn’t been divulged.

It has yet to be determined where the Chargers would play home games over the next two seasons while their stadium is being built. One possibility is the StubHub Center in Carson, where the LA Galaxy play. The stadium can hold about 27,000 fans.

The Chargers finished the 2016 season last in the AFC West with a 5-11 record.

This kid is half my age and he’s out making the world a better place while I just sit around on my fat ass writing about it. I’m not sure I’ll ever do something this kind in my LIFE, while this kid’s not even a teenager and he’s already a one man charitable army. I’ve got a lot to learn from this little dude right here.

Ben, 7, was diagnosed with leukemia in December 2015, while Landen, 9, was diagnosed Jan. 8, 2016 with glioblastoma — a grade 4 brain tumor. The tumor was removed two days later and MRIs have shown no evidence of a progression, Landen’s mother said.

After Brady learned of his friends’ battle with cancer, he asked his parents if he could sell his baseball cards to help, Kahle said.

The Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, a youth development agency, allowed Brady to set up a table at its facility. He calls his project “Cards for a Cause.”

Since last year, Brady has sold thousands upon thousands of cards, bobbleheads, signed hockey sticks, autographed baseballs, photos, and original “Cards for a Cause” T-shirts. He even once sold a Mickey Mantle card for $150. Because of his cause, the trading card company “Upper Deck” inducted Brady into its Heroic Inspirations campaign, and printed a card with his very own face on it.
