WATCH: UFC President Dana White Responds To Meryl Streep Disparaging MMA During Her Golden Globes Speech

At last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Meryl Streep used her platform after receiving a lifetime achievement award to unleash an anti-Trump diatribe. While I certainly agree with some her criticisms and personally think Trump is a total assclown, it’s frustrating that people inside the Hollywood bubble still can’t get their heads around that Trump’s rise was largely fueled by a backlash against precisely this type of smug self-righteousness from people like Meryl Streep who are completely out-of-touch with the lives of ordinary Americans.

Amidst Streep’s moralizing, the 80-year-old Hollywood icon took shots from seemingly out of nowhere at the NFL and mixed martial arts.

“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders,” Streep said.  “And if we kick them all out, we’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts,” before sassily adding amidst growing applause from the audience, “which are not the arts.”

While it’s understandable why a Hollywood lifer would extol “the arts”, I don’t see the point of aiming her vitriol at the NFL and mixed martial arts.

You can like highbrow artsy films, and still enjoy watching athletes compete. But by demonizing sports fans- which, newsflash is an enormous part of the population- she’s giving ordinary Americans another reason to roll their eyes and tune her out.

While maybe football players and fighters aren’t “artists”, they are far more relatable heroes than Hollywood actors are, and we admire them for their toughness and dedication to their craft.

And unlike what Streep seems to think, the UFC and other fighting promotions are comprised of working class fighters from countries around the globe. And I’d bet the makeup of MMA’s fanbase is much more diverse than the group of people who pay to see Meryl Streep movies in theaters.

UFC President Dana White fired back to Streep’s comments by calling Streep and “uppity 80-year-old lady” who he wouldn’t expect to be in the UFC’s demographic.

White also called objected to her declaration that MMA isn’t an art. “Saying something stupid like that is like saying that she’s not a talented actress,” he said. “Which she is. She’s a very talented actress.”

Here’s the video of White’s full reaction, courtesy of TMZ Sports.

Scott Coker, president of UFC competitor Bellator, also chose to respond to Streep’s comments. Below is the statement he posted on Twitter.

In North Queensland Australia, a spearfisherman was minding his own business when he was attacked by a rude ass bull shark. Watch the frightening footage in the video below.

And that is why I am firmly #TeamDryLand, my friends. Just look at this GIF.

No f*cking thanks. That bloodthirsty shark was charging at that dude like he was shot out of a goddamn cannon. Looking like a deleted scene from Jaws or something.

I’m surprised the guy in the video can find scuba gear that can contain his gigantic cojones. He somehow stayed cool, calm, and collected under terrifying circumstances, looking death in the face and saying, “Not today, dickhead.” He gave that yellow-bellied shark a nice spear shot to the kisser and taught him a lesson that he’ll never forget.

This guy needs to meet Tyler McQuillen, so they can trade war stories about whipping sharks’ asses.

WWE Monday Night Raw: Results, Updates, & Must-See Highlights – 01/09/17 (HBK & Undertaker Return!)

WWE

WWE

Two legends are returning tonight! Time to eat some WWE-flavored member-berries! “The Demon of Death Valley” The Undertaker will show up to send chills down the spine of the entire roster. “HBK” Shawn Michaels will also return to delight of the crowd. I don’t know why these two legends are returning (probably a ratings thing). But who’s complaining?

WWE Monday Night Raw Results

Mick Foley calls out The Undertaker

Foley hypes The Undertaker, and asks for him to come out. He wants to face off against The Deadman one more time. He wants to relive those days where his hair stood on end whenever The Demon of Death Valley walked to the ring. The lights go out. And then Stephanie McMahon’s music hits. Lulz. Nice trolling, Stephanie. She looks upset and says she’s going to give Mick a poor performance review. She berates the Hardcore Legend. And then…the lights go out again and The Undertaker’s music hits.

Luke Gallows vs. Sheamus

Both men lock up early on (trading headlocks and holds). But Sheamus is a brute and fights back, runs into the ropes and propels himself into Luke with a shoulder tackle. Luke hits back hard. But Sheamus regains control with a sick kick to Gallows’ head.

Luke Gallows takes control and beats down the big Irishman. Karl Anderson spouts off on the mouth at commentary. Sheamus is lying on his ass as we go to commercial break.

Back from break, and Gallows got Sheamus in a headlock. But the big Irishman makes a comeback and starts kicking arse. He hits Gallows right on the bridge of the nose with his knee. He clubs Luke with his forearm on his chest at least 10 times. Karl Anderson reminds the audience on commentary that we have a hot Asian wife. Sheamus looks to be in control, but Gallows breaks out of the Irish Curse back-breaker and hits the Irishman with an intense kick.

It wouldn’t be long until Sheamus was back in control. He yells, “Fella!” He’s going for a Brogue Kick. But then over on commentary, Karl Anderson hits Cesaro over the head with a bottle. Sheamus is distracted. Gallows hits Sheamus with a high-impact move. He pins the Irishman. 1, 2…he kicks out! Cesaro regains control on the ramp, knocks Anderson on his ass, and now he’s swinging through the air. Now, Gallows is distracted. Luke turns around and eats a Brogue Kick.

Sheamus defeats Luke Gallows

Backstage in Stephanie McMahon’s Office

Some guy is messing around with a fern in her office. She tells him to get lost. Kinda random. Sasha & Bayley walk-in, acting hurt. Stephanie gets in their faces and schedules a tag team match: Bayley & Banks will face off against the imposing team of Nia Jax and Charlotte tonight. Stephanie says that she’s the real boss, and not Sasha. Stephanie looks like she’s going to pounce on Banks. I wonder if they’ll have a match someday. Sasha vs. Stephanie would definitely be something huge.

Neville vs. Lince Dorado

Dorado begins the match with two dropkicks, a springboard stunner, leg scissors and a dive over the top rope. The Golden Linx is going wild! Dorado hits a cross-body off the top rope. But Neville can’t be held down for too long. Neville fires back, and soon he’s in complete control over his opponent. Corey Graves calls Neville, “the most dangerous guy in the cruiserweight division.”

Neville is in control. He dominants Dorado with ease. Neville suplexes the smaller man and then locks him into a submission hold. Lince tries to fight back. But “The Man That Gravity Forgot” is way too intense and strong. He puts Lince into a variation of the Rings of Saturn. Dorado taps.

Neville defeats Lince Dorado by submission

Post-match: Neville continues the assault on Lince Dorado. He looks like he wants to kill the guy. Rich Swann’s music hits and he races to the ring. Swann kicks some serious ass and Neville retreats.

Big Cass vs. Jinder Mahal

We are back from commercial break and Big Cass is already in control of Jinder Mahal. Cass is in control early-on and Mahal is just trying to dodge and slip away from the big man. But Mahal is no wimp and levels Cass. Mahal chokes Cass on the bottom rope and later hits him with a double drop kick to the head. Mahal is in total control and is being a bit cocky about it.

Big Cass fights back and throws Mahal nearly across the ring. Rusev tries to distract Big Cass. But HBK fires back with a sweet chin music. Big Cass kicks ass in the ring. He hits Mahal with an East River Crossing elbow and that was all she wrote.

Big Cass defeats Jinder Mahal

HBK Returns!

Before the HBK comes out: Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley are backstage. She tells Mick he has one hour to lure The Undertaker to the ring. And she means business.

Shawn Michaels’ music hits. He hams his way down to the ring as the crowd goes wild. He grabs a microphone and the music dies down. The crowd chants “HBK.” He tells the crowd to keep chanting because he needs to catch his breath because of that run to the ring.

HBK talks about the Royal Rumble as the crowd chants for him to come back for one more match. HBK says he won’t crack to peer pressure. Instead he plugs his new movie hitting theaters January 20th called The Resurrection of Gavin Stone. Rusev music hits and he comes out to ringside with Jinder Mahal and his wife Lana. Rusev trash-talks Michaels, and says that everyone forgot about his career (obvious trolling lulz).

How ya doin’? Enzo & Big Cass’ music hit. Enzo comes out in a rinky-dink wheelchair. They come down to the ring, Enzo hobbles out of his wheelchair and limps to the ring like a true G. Cass & Enzo both pay their respects to Michaels. They then start roasting Rusev, Jinder and Lana. Big Cass makes a reference to the films Blow and The Pianist for today’s dose of sexual innuendo. Big Cass gets up in Rusev’s face and challenges him to a match. Rusev volunteers Jinder Mahal for the match. HBK says he’ll be hanging around at ring side. We go to commercial break.

Jack Gallagher vs. Drew Gulak

Drew Gulak is surprisingly intense in this contest. He tosses Gallagher into the ropes like a rag-doll. Gallagher is also gifted on the top rope and with submission. But Gallagher is a true showman. Jack makes a comeback and makes it look easy. He’s a real character. He’s funny how he moves around in the ring. Jack headbutts Drew, and then charges his opponent in the corner with a double drop kick. 1, 2, 3 and Gallagher wins!

Jack Gallagher defeats Drew Gulak

Post-match: Gallagher invites Ariya Daivari to parlay with him tomorrow night at WWE 205 Live. And if Daivari declines his offer then they’ll have to settle it with fistycuffs.

Shawn Michaels is seen speaking to someone backstage.

Backstage Segment

Bayley and Sasha Banks are talking backstage. Bayley is just so excited that she’ll have a match against Charlotte at the Royal Rumble. Sasha has her back and is hoping to get a shot at Bayley’s championship after she defeats Charlotte. The now-reigning Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte appears on screen, clapping with a dead-pan look on her face. Hilarious. She discredits both Sasha and Bayley. Asks how would Sasha know how to defeat the Queen when she loses against her at each big event? Good point, Charlotte.

But then out of nowhere, Nia Jax comes in and goes ape sh*t on almost everyone. She attacks Sasha’s hurt leg, and even presses the Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte. The Queen look shook. Nia is a she-beast.

Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman

Rollins starts off hot with a drop kick and then attacks Braun in the corner. Rollins controls much of the match early on, successfully blocking Braun’s offense. But Braun is just too strong, and one shot from him has Rollins laying. A clubbing blow to the back of Rollins’ neck has got the Architect down. Braun is like a wrecking ball charging Seth into the corner. Strowman hits Braun with a “wicked clothesline.” Braun is solidly in control as the crowd chants “Let’s go, Rollins!”

Braun drops an elbow right into Rollins heart. But Seth is very resourceful, and he’ll even grab at Braun’s beard to gain the upper-hand. Seth fights back with a flurry of kicks, but Braun is too much of a beast to stop. Braun charges Seth, and Rollins falls outside the ring while we go to commercial break.

And back from the break, Rollins is rallying back. Seth hits many high impact moves including a suicide dive to the outside onto Braun. He’s trying to slay the beast. Braun is a monster who almost crushes Rollins. But Seth is a fighter, and can really kick ass. However, his pride may be his downfall, as he may have bitten off more than he can chew. Rollins attempts a dive from the top rope to Braun, whose slouched over the barricade. But Strowman moves, and Rollins crashes in epic fashion.

Braun messes up Seth and tries to drag him back to the ring before the referee makes the 10 count. But they can’t make it, and the match ends with a double count out.

Neither man wins. A double count-out for Rollins and Strowman

Post-match: Braun is pissed for the double count out. He grabs a steel chair. But Seth is able to take it away in the ring, and the big man backs off as Rollins starts swinging. Strowman walks to the back as Seth’s music plays. Seth stands in the ring, with an intense look on his face. He’s still holding that chair.

WWE United States Championship handicap match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho

Before the match, Braun Strowman came out and beat up Reigns. Reigns goes in the ring to try and fight back Owens and Jericho. But then Braun gets into the ring, and there’s a three-on-one gang assault onto Reigns. But then “Crossfit Jesus” Seth Rollins comes in to save the day. All of a sudden, Reigns and Rollins are on top, chasing away their three foes. Then Stephanie McMahon comes out to announce the handicap match for later in the night. Meanwhile, up next, we get to see Braun Strowman fight Seth Rollins in the ring.

No Contest

Intro: In Stephanie McMahon & Mick Foley’s Office

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon talk about Foley’s performance review and the rumors of The Undertaker appearing tonight. Then Rollins comes in, announcing his involvement in the Royal Rumble match. Then Braun Strowman burst in, asking for either Roman Reigns or Goldberg. Both Reigns and Goldberg are not in the building. Braun gets Rollins instead, who stares down the big man. Seth throws the first punch, and they fight it out. Stephanie screams for security.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview

Roman Reigns is also set to put his United States Championship on the line in a handicap match against the devious and hilarious duo of Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho. Can two people share one championship? Probably not most people. But Owens and Jericho are the best of friends. So, they may just be the exception.

Again, why are HBK and The Undertaker coming back? I’m genuinely interested in why. Is Shawn Michaels going to announce his return to the ring after nearly seven years in retirement? And isn’t The Undertaker a member of SmackDown? Why is he showing up on Raw? Doesn’t the brand split matter? Is The Undertaker switching brands? Or does he have another big announcement to make? It’s probably to announce his participation in the Royal Rumble match on January 29th.

Imagine the prospect of HBK returning. WWE is in serious need of more established stars on Raw, Michaels would easily fill that void. We can get dream matches like HBK vs. Seth Rollins, HBK vs. Kevin Owens, HBK vs. Roman Reigns, etc.

Neville has brought new life into the floundering cruiserweight division. What kind of excitement will he bring tonight? And how will Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann be able to stop “The Man That Gravity Forgot?”

And this may be the hottest topic of them all: when will Emmalina make her debut? We’ve been seeing her video packages for a long time now. Give the fans what they want, Vince! Apparently, she’s coming soon in the new year. But when? When?!?

A real slick criminal pulled off a monumental heist in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The robbery footage was recently released by police, but the caper took place all the way back on November 11, 2016. Watch a man pretend that he’s packing heat under his shirt to successfully rob a convenience store.

I really want to criticize the convenience store workers for getting bluffed so badly, but I would’ve done the same exact thing. Even if I’m 99% sure that guy is lying, I’m not risking being wrong for minimum wage. Hell, that guy could’ve came in there with a f*cking Nerf gun and I probably still would’ve handed over the dough.

If anything, this video just shows the importance of confidence. You bark out a few intimidating threats, rock a sweet fedora and jean shorts combo, and do some menacing finger gestures, I’m going to believe that you have a gun. It’s like the sage George Costanza once said…

This crafty bandit made off with approximately $300 and police are still looking for him. I’m not sure if they have any promising leads, but if I were them, I’d check every ballet studio in the area. Graceful displays like that don’t grow on trees.

This is one of those posts where I have so much I love about it that it’s easier for all of us if I just rip bullet points:

  1. What an eclectic gang assembled by ESPN. Walton, Jay Bilas, Marcellus Wiley, Rachel Nichols, Beadle and… is that Keyshawn? Keyshawn! How you been man? Good too see he’s still kicking after getting fired from the NFL show.
  2. Gotta love when Jay Bilas loves life. Gravity, taxes, and when Jay Bilas is happy, you’re happy.
  3. Bill Walton, big marijuana guy. Needless to say, we’re Bill Walton lifers over at COED.
  4. Beadle’s a hard 7.5  look wise, but probably a 10 overall. Yes, she’s not quite as hot as Charissa Thompson or Erin Andrews, but she also seems wayyyyy more down to Earth, which is worth an easy two points on the Italiano scale.
  5. For the virgins in the room, that’s not tea — Beadle’s getting drunk and said it’s going to make her live forever.
  6. Bill Walton, 64, proving that shooters will forever shoot.

In conclusion, since ESPN is airing about 38 different versions of the national championship tonight, I need to figure out which channel this one’s airing on. I’d much rather watch these six savages get drunk for three hours then see Sab Against The Machine squeak out another national championship.

This Is The Face Of A Man Who Boxed Himself Into Paying Donald Trump A Compliment

Look, not to get all Loose Change (Google it) on you people, but real quick: I don’t know if it was the Russians or the DNC or the democratic population themselves who screwed it all up for Bernie Sanders, but I’ll tell you this: we were ALL robbed. Republicans, democrats, those people who vote for the other people — ALL of us missed a golden opportunity. Let me drop a quick truth bomb on your forehead: a Bernie-Trump debate would have been ALL TIME television. Two old New Yorkers arguing about politics for 120 minutes? Just picture it: intense nonverbal communication, hand gestures, facial expressions, cutting each other off, dueling Brooklyn-Manhattan accents — it would have been electric. There would have been some hands.

During his democratic group cry session town hall event on CNN, Sanders was inevitably asked to say something nice about Donald Trump because some inverted Ken Bone thought he was slick.

Bernie did what he does best by saying what we’re all really thinking: whether you like to admit it or not, Trump campaigned his ass off and connected with a majority of Americans. Given how divided we clearly still are, that ain’t no easy feat, and for that you have to give the guy credit.

So, please just take a quick second to pour one out for the idea of a Bernie-Trump debate. God only knows the memes and gifs that would have given us.

After Alabama quickly marched down the field to retake a 31-28 lead with over 2 minutes remaining, Clemson was able to return the favor to win the game when Deshaun Watson completed a 2-yard touchdown pass to slot receiver Hunter Renfrow with a single second left on the clock.

Ben Affleck has been the big swingin’ dick of the Affleck family for the better part of two decades now. But while Ben has been busy directing movies and being Batman, younger brother Casey has been making quite the name for himself, so much so that the 41-year-old is the odds-on favorite to win this year’s Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Manchester By The Sea.

Affleck gave a predictably subdued and standard acceptance speech, thanking the staff of Manchester, his friends, his family, and of course his kids. However, there was one glaring omission from his speech.

His brother Ben, the Academy Award-winning writer and director who probably gave Casey his first role, is completely missing from Affleck’s speech. Maybe it’s an age old case of sibling rivalry.

Needless to say, big brother Ben was having none of it.

University Of Kansas Is Giving Out Buttons To Make Gender Pronouns Easier Because 2017

$

I’m totally down with the cause and equality and all of that, but the whole pronoun thing kind of warps my mind. For example, when Tinder introduced 37 new gender identities in their latest update. I truly don’t understand how there can be that many, and if that makes me ignorant, so be it, but I’m sorry, I feel like 37 choices seems a little excessive.

And that’s why I don’t understand this move from the University of Kansas, as they are now offering students buttons through the school’s library system meant to make their preferred gender pronouns clear.

via NBC:

The buttons come in three versions: “He him his,” ”She her hers” and, for people who don’t identify themselves as male or female, “They them theirs.”

“Because gender is, itself, fluid and up to the individual,” a sign at the libraries reads. “Each person has the right to identify their own pronouns, and we encourage you to ask before assuming someone’s gender. Pronouns matter! Misgendering someone can have lasting consequences, and using the incorrect pronoun can be hurtful, disrespectful, and invalidate someone’s identity.”

Again, maybe I’m being ignorant, but I thought we were trying to normalize, not ostracize, those with gender identity issues. I feel like walking around with a big ole’ button slapped on your chest is kind of the opposite of that. People haven’t worn name tags since kindergarten, and anyone who does as an adult looks frankly ridiculous. Can’t say I agree with the logic here.

Neither can Costanza.

Former NFL RB Warrick Dunn Gave Deshaun Watson His Childhood Home

Deshaun Watson is the man of the hour after leading Clemson to a 35-31 National Championship victory over Alabama. Watson went nuts in last night’s game, throwing for 420 yards and three TDs and adding 43 yards and a TD on the ground. The game’s offensive MVP even threw the winning touchdown with just one second left on the clock.

So with everybody talking about Watson, we’ve learned quite a bit about the young man. For instance, he got his Miss Cleo on in 2012, tweeting that he would “go ham” if he ever played in a National Championship.

Another cool story that has been getting attention today is that former NFL running back Warrick Dunn gave Watson his childhood home. Dunn has donated hundreds of homes for single-parent families through his work with Habitat for Humanity, and Watson’s family was a recipient of Dunn’s generous ways. When Watson was 11 years old, Dunn moved his family into a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home that was fully furnished with a television, a computer, furniture, and a fridge stocked with food.

Here’s a photo from move-in day.

Warrick Dunn is the man, and Watson has had himself one helluva journey. He went from living in a cramped apartment in a rough part of town, to hoisting the National Championship trophy. I can’t wait to see Watson light it up on NFL Sundays.

Police are responding to a reported hostage situation at the Alabama Credit Union on Paul Bryant Drive. The police are referring to it as an “emergency situation” on the University of Alabama campus.

The University of Alabama issued an official alert around 8:30 A.M., saying local law enforcement and UA Police are at a robbery/hostage situation at the Alabama Credit Union, located at 220 E. Paul W. Bryant Drive. According to reports from NBC, an armed man entered the credit union and took hostages before it opened this morning. At this time, it is unknown how many people are being held hostage or the exact nature of the suspect’s motives.

According to Tuscaloosa police Lt. Teena Richardson, a gunman entered the building and took the employees inside hostage. “It didn’t come in as a robbery. We don’t know what the issue is,” Richarson said.

The FBI confirmed that hostage negotiators and the SWAT team are on the scene. Paul Bryant Drive is currently closed.

The hostage situation comes just hours after Alabama fell to Clemson in the College Football National Championship, 35-31.

Where Is The Alabama Credit Union?

The Alabama Credit Union is located at 220 E. Paul W. Bryant Driveand is right next to the UA Law School.

Last night did not go quite as planned for Alabama fans, as their beloved Crimson Tide fell to the Clemson Tigers 35-31, in one of the most thrilling National Championship games of all time. Fortunately for Bama supporters, they’ll probably be back here next year because they keep bringing in top talent year in and year out, so keep your chins up.

Although the Tide may have lost, sophomore running back Bo Scarbrough had his coming out party this year by rushing for 812 yards and 11 touchdowns, putting him on the shortlist for next year’s favorite to win the Heisman. If he does end up winning the Heisman next year, he’d have to be considered one of the all-time greatest running backs in the history of Alabama.

Although Scarbrough has a ways to go, his success has me wondering: Who are the five best running backs in the history of Alabama football? Naturally, I went ahead and ranked who I feel are the five best to ever play at the running back position for the Crimson Tide:

5. Bobby Humphrey (1985-88)

Born: Birmingham, Alabama
Height: 6’1″
Weight: 201 lbs

If it wasn’t for a foot injury that cut his senior season short, Humphrey could have very well been the first Heisman Trophy winner in the school’s history. After a freshman season where he averaged 5.0 yards a carry, Humphrey had very strong showings in his sophomore and junior seasons. His freshman season was followed up by a stellar sophomore season where he rushed for 1,471 yards and 15 touchdowns, and then 1,255 yards and 11 touchdowns his junior season. Humphrey left Alabama as the school’s all-time leading rusher.

Career Stats: 3,420 yards rushing, 33 TD; 523 yards receiving, 7 TD

4. Trent Richardson (2009-11)

Born: Pensacola, Florida
Height: 5’9″
Weight: 229 lbs

No, Trent Richardson was not a good NFL player, like at all, but while he was running for the Tide he was DAMN good. Richardson had big shoes to fill as he took over the starting running back role for Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, and he surely did not disappoint. Although he got a fair amount of playing time his freshman and sophomore seasons as the second back behind Ingram, Richardson took college football by storm his junior season as he rushed for 1,679 yards to go along with 21 touchdowns. He won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s best running back, was a Unanimous All American, and finished third in the Heisman voting. Not to mention he also left school as a two-time National Champion. Too bad his NFL career didn’t pan out.

Career Stats: 3,130 yards rushing, 35 TD; 730 yards receiving, 7 TD

3. Shaun Alexander (1996-99)

Born: Florence, Kentucky
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 228 lbs

I really only knew Alexander as one of the best running backs in the NFL when he played for the Seattle Seahawks, but little did I know he was awesome when he was running wild for Alabama. After he was relatively quiet his first two seasons for the Crimson Tide, Alexander’s final two seasons at Alabama were something special. As a junior, he ran for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns, followed up by an even better senior season where he went for 1,383 yards and 19 touchdowns, and was first-team All-SEC. Unlike the aforementioned Trent Richardson, Alexander went on to have a pretty great NFL career, including being named the 2005 MVP of the league.

Career Stats: 3,565 yards rushing, 41 TD; 789 yards receiving, 8 TD

2. Derrick Henry (2013-15)

Born: Yulee, Florida
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 247 lbs

You could make the argument that Henry should be ranked #1 on this list, but he’s coming in at the #2 spot, which is nothing to be ashamed of by any means. Although he only had one season where he ran for over 1,000 yards, Henry did more than just that in his junior and final season at Alabama, during which he rushed an astonishing 2,219 yards and 28 touchdowns, to go along with numerous awards including becoming the second Heisman Trophy winner in the school’s history. To top it all off, Henry helped lead the Crimson Tide to a victory in the 2015 National Championship Game against Clemson and left as the school’s all-time leading rusher.

Career Stats: 3,591 yards rushing, 42 TD; 285 yards receiving, 3 TD

1. Mark Ingram (2008-10)

Born: Hackensack, New Jersey
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 215 lbs

I think it’s only fitting that the first Heisman Trophy winner in school history (which is crazy to think that Alabama didn’t have a Heisman winner until 2009) is the best back in school history. Ingram had a strong freshman season at Alabama scoring 12 touchdowns, and he followed that up with a sophomore season that included 1,678 rushing yards, 17 touchdowns, a Heisman Trophy, and a National Championship. His numbers during his junior and final season dipped a little as he missed the first two games after undergoing minor knee surgery, but he still ran for 875 yards and 13 touchdowns. Needless to say, Ingram set the bar pretty high for future Alabama running backs to come.

Career Stats: 3,261 yards rushing, 42 TD; 670 yards receiving, 4 TD
