Chris Brown vs Soulja Boy Boxing Match

Chris Brown and Soulja Boy are scheduled to fight in a pay-per-view boxing match after the two rappers spent the first few days of 2017 arguing on Instagram and Twitter. Details of the celebrity boxing match are still coming forward, but we know that Adrien Broner and Floyd Mayweather are stepping up to the table to promote the fight.

Even though information is somewhat limited, a ton of people in the boxing world and the music industry are talking about this. Even 50 Cent has been talking about throwing down some serious cash for the fight. This thing is turning into an absolute circus.

When Is The Fight Happening?

Details surrounding the fight are still developing, but Adrien Broner, one of the promoters in charge of the celebrity boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, posted an Instagram photo which says the fight will happen in March.

Chris Brown vs. Soulja Boy Boxing Match Details

Neither the time nor the location of the fight has been announced yet, but if we had to bet on the place that the fight would be taking place, it’d be in Nevada where both Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner have connections.

What we do know is that the fight is likely going to be a three-round amateur bout, meaning that both fighters will be wearing helmets and head gear.

Additionally, we know that Chris Brown will be trained by his friend Adrien Broner, who at one time was the biggest rising star in the boxing world.

Soulja Boy, on the other hand, will be trained by none other than Floyd Mayweather.

How Did The Fight Start?

According to those who know, the fight between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown began when Soulja Boy liked a photo of Karrauche on Instagram. Karrauche used to date Chris Brown, and her ex-boyfriend didn’t take too kindly to Soulja’s affection. Apparently he called up Soulja Boy on the phone and threatened to beat him up. That’s when Soulja Boy took to Twitter to tell his fans what happened.

Test This Guy Who Is Able To Eat 23 Ghost Peppers Because He Probably Has The Cure For Cancer In His Blood

Well, my mind is in an absolute pretzel. I’ve seen people act like they’ve got a combination of Alien and Satan himself coming out of them after eating one ghost pepper. Like that time those two smokeshows almost committed suicide after eating just one? Remember them?

Yeah, those chicks.

The bhut jolokia, also known as a ghost pepper, is considered one of the hottest foods in the world, so my brain can’t wrap my head around how one person can down about 25 of these and barely break a sweat while the rest of us take a single bite and we’re ready to Purge our own lives. Some people have just got it, I guess.

Via ABC:

Johnny, assistant scoutmaster for troop 137 in Fredericksburg, Texas, may have drawn the short straw when he ate 23, yes, 23 ghost peppers. The good news is that it was all for a good cause. The bad news is that he got incredibly sick afterwards.

“He’s doing this to bring light to the fact that we desperately need scholarship money,” troop scoutmaster Gayne Young said. “Money for our boys to get uniforms and to go on trips.”

Young and another member of the troop filmed Johnny eating the peppers. The peppers were so hot that they had to cover part of their faces.

Troop scoutmaster Gayne Young saying Johnny was “sick out both ends with quite a bit of blood” was the biggest relief of 2017 so far. Had he just walked away from this without any repercussion, we’d have a confirmed alien or demon spirit walking among us.

Brittany Love Broke Her Wrist Three Times & Fell Out Of A Second Story Window But NBD, She’s Tough AF

Brittany Love

I’ve broken a few bones in my day…OK just my nose once, but Brittany Love definitely has me beat. The Miss COED 2017 semifinalist snapped her wrist in half three times and even fell out of a second story window. Say what?!?! Luckily, the 22-year-old is still flawless AF and didn’t damage any brain cells because she’s now studying Kinesiology at the University of Kentucky. One day she hopes to become a pediatric oncologist and “save every child’s life that I can.”

Yet her life hasn’t been all smiles and rainbows – good friend and ex-boyfriend both committed suicide. With the help of her awesome mom, stepdad, and brothers, Brittany was able to push through it all and is now spreading the word about suicide prevention and awareness. In other words, this lovely lady is freakin’ amazing, and we’re proud to call her a semifinalist.

Get to know more about Brittany below and be sure to check back daily as we get to know each of our contestants a bit better.

What’s your favorite school tradition?

My favorite school tradition has to be State Street in March! I was told this doesn’t count as a school tradition because its only if we win, but lets be honest, I go to UK…. We always win. :) So during March Madness, after every win, we all rush to a street called State Street. It doesn’t matter how far away you are, there are literally just thousands of people who immediately start running to State! Once you’re there, there is a lot of chanting the CATS cheer and waving flags, etc. Freshman year I was so scared of it – there’s like 8,000 people going crazy and stuff burning! (Yes, we are the infamous couch burners!) But once you experience it, it is totally different. There’s nothing that brings thousands of college kids together like a Kentucky Basketball win!

Who do you look up to the most and why?

As cliche as it sounds, I look up to my parents the most. I have went through a LOT in my 22 years, things that people should never have to experience in their whole lifetime and I’m still young. Many days, I begin to wonder how in the world I’m going to keep pushing and make it through, but every day, I look to my mom and I remember all of the things she’s been through, everything she’s overcome, which was way more than I could even imagine, and how strong she is today. She’s my strength, my guidance, my rock. My brother and I like to call her Superwoman. She taught me everything in life except how to live without her. I also look up to my stepdad a lot. Him and my mom got married when I was 7-years-old. My dad wasn’t really around much and my step dad stepped up to the plate big time. From the day we met, he took me under his wing and helped guide me through this crazy life. He made sure I had anything I needed or even wanted. He took care of my brothers and I like we were his own and we love him like we are his own too. He may not biologically be my father, but he sure stepped up to be my dad and I could not be more thankful for either of my parents!

Which organization on campus are you most passionate about and why?

DANCE BLUE! Every year, UK holds a Dance Blue marathon. It’s a 24 hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon used to raise money for children’s cancer care and research. I have been very passionate about helping these sick children my entire life, which is why I am going to school to be a pediatric oncologist. I am SO blessed to go to a University that hosts such a crazy fun event to raise so much money for research and care for these children. To date, they have raised over eight million dollars!

Give your BFF a shoutout! What’s his/her name and how long have you been besties?

Through the years, I’ve grown close to a lot of people and have many friends. However, throughout life, I would have to say my brothers, Tim and Shane, have always been my best friends! They’re the reason I’m strong today, the reason I know how to defend myself, and the reason I am a sports fanatic – really. When I was 5-years-old, they went up the street to play football and I was told I couldn’t go, so I snuck off while my mom was doing laundry and rode my little three wheeler all the way down to see them because “I wanted to watch my Bubby play ball.” I have always been able to go to them for anything and everything and know I’ll be okay! My favorite story is when I was 4-5, we were told to clean our rooms or we would be in trouble. I was your average kid who didn’t want to clean my room, which really just meant picking up my toys and putting them in the toy box. My brother wanted to make sure I didn’t get in trouble, so he rushed to clean my room first. What are best friends for, right?!

Do you have any secret talents?

I am 100% sure that my secret talent is being clumsy (and breaking bones). I’ve broken my wrist 3 times, including totally crushing it once on the monkey bars. Ya know, just normal stuff….. Oh, I also was sitting in my windowsill when I was 3-4 and fell out of my second story window. Thank goodness I landed in a bush! ha ha. Clumsy is definitely my talent! I would put singing as a close second though! I’ve loved singing since I was super young. Maybe one day I’ll sing for everyone to hear. :)

Something I’m super passionate about is Suicide Prevention and Awareness – I donate a lot to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. I have a very good friend and an ex boyfriend who both committed suicide. Its becoming more widespread in our culture and its a death that could be prevented much more often than it is. I would love to talk about this! I even made a video once to try to get suicide prevention education implemented in schools more regularly. You can find the video here:

The 2-seeded Clemson Tigers (12-1) will battle the 1-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide (13-0) in the National Championship on Monday, January 9, 2017. These two schools are the last teams standing once again, as this is a rematch of last year’s National Championship. In last year’s championship, Alabama prevailed in a shootout, beating Clemson 45-40. Both teams are stocked to the brim with NFL talent, so we should be in for another highly entertaining affair.

Let’s take a few minutes to get familiar with the Tigers’ roster. We’ve already covered the Crimson Tide’s depth chart, so it’s only fair to also take a look at Dabo Swinney’s squad. Courtesy of OurLads, here is Clemson’s entire roster, broken down into offense, defense, and special teams. All of their starters are listed, along with backups at specific positions.

So without further ado, here are your 2016-2017 Clemson Tigers.

Drake Seen Singing ‘Marvin’s Room’ Outside Of Nicki Minaj’s Window After Announcing She’s Single

Welp, it was only a matter of time before Meek Mill’s corny ass got dumped by Nicki Minaj. Now all we have to do is get Kylie to dump 150-pound-soaking-wet Tyga and the Earth’s natural equilibrium will finally be restored. Just as sure as the Earth’s rotation, Drake is going to pursue Nicki now that she’s single. The only question is this: How far will Drake go to close the deal this time? Will he write a song? Sing “Marvin’s Room” outside her bedroom window? Sacrifice a virgin goat to the gods? At this point, anything goes.

Early Thursday morning, Nicki took to Twitter to confirm that she and the walking meme that is Meek Mill, who have been dating since 2015, have broken up:

“To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon,” Nicki said. “Have a blessed New Year.”

The Drake-Nicki Minaj dynamic has always been interesting to me because Drake honestly seems like the more feminine of the two, which, according to me, is f*cking hilarious. Drake croons about love lost and times past, while Nicki spits 15 straight bars about stealing money and getting laid. I love knowing that even for a dude like Drake, who could literally have about 78% of chicks in the world, there’s always going to be that one chick who will always have the upper hand on you. Can’t say I blame the dude either. Nicki Minaj would hypnotize the manhood out of me too.

In all honesty, I’m pulling for Drake with this one. No matter who you are, or what your status may be, every man deserves to capture their great white buffalo. I’m just hoping he pulls it off without pulling a thirsty Drake move like spilling his heart out on national television. Luckily, he’s already done that, so it’s unlikely he forces the world to cringe through that for a second time. Unless of course, he’s thinking about going back to back again.

Best Gaming Monitors 2017: Top 5 Must-Have Displays

Best Gaming Monitors 2017

Whether you are dumping a thousand or more dollars into a new gaming rig (and by dumping I mean investing in the most glorious of hobbies) or trying to step up your desktop game by finally upgrading from that 10-year-old LCD screen that came with your Dell, a high-end display is integral to the modern gamer’s hardware arsenal. With Nvidia and AMD cranking out more powerful graphics cards every season, there are faster displays and higher resolutions to take advantage of all that flawless graphical goodness.

With so many options, however, it can be hard to tell which monitor is truly the king of displays. Have no fear, as we have compiled a list of the top five best monitors that will make you the envy of all who gander at your desktop prowess.

Here is our list of the best gaming monitors available right now:

5. BenQ XR3501

BenQ XR3501

The fifth-place spot on our list is a powerhouse for its size and price. Featuring a 35-inch ultra wide display with a curved screen, this beast is designed from the ground up to cover your entire field of view. Having a 144Hz refresh rate also puts it at the front of the pack in terms of frame-to-frame fidelity. It would have been higher on our list if only it had a higher native resolution than its 2560 x 1080.

BUY: BenQ XR3501

4. Dell UltraSharp U3415W

Dell UltraSharp U3415W

I know that I totally made fun of Dell monitors in the intro to this article, but a stock monitor that comes with a $300 pre-built machine, this is not. This 34-inch ultra-wide curved display features a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Toss in a few more bells and whistles like its  height adjustability (harder to find than you think) and USB 3.0 ports and it is not difficult to see why Dell’s UltraSharp made the list.

BUY: Dell UltraSharp U3415W

3. Acer Predator Z35

Acer Predator Z35

Yes, another curved display. It’s the future, man. Get used to it. Acer’s Z35 has an ultra wide 35-inch screen with a 4ms response, 144Hz refresh rate (with overclocking capabilities of up to 200Hz) and a native resolution of 2560 x 1080. The Z35 (as well as the other top choices on this list) features one of the newer innovations in display-tech, Nividia G-Sync. G-Sync aims to do away with screen tearing and the need to enable processor-sucking software solutions like Vsync. This will boost performance and visuals by off-putting that process onto dedicated hardware rather than software. A great concept for a quality display.

BUY: Acer Predator Z35

2. Acer Predator X34

Acer Predator X34

While the X34 falls short of the Z35 in refresh rate (can only reach 100Hz if overclocked) and one inch of curved-screen real-estate, the X34 more than makes up for it with its 3440 x 1440 native resolution. On top of that, it has built in speakers and five USB 3.0 ports. It also has Nvidia’s G-Sync, which you will need at those resolutions. And in case you are still not sold, it’s the same monitor Terry Crews just used for his first build… and if it’s good enough for Terry, it’s good enough for you.

BUY: Acer Predator X34

1. Asus ROG PG348Q

Asus ROG PG348Q

If I didn’t know any better, I would say that this is the monitor to end all monitors. Asus’s 34-inch ROG is a beautiful piece of hardware. The ROG is truly a display meant for… display. Finished with the ROG Armor Titanium, Plasma copper color scheme and built in light effects on the frameless design, this monitor will look as ostentatious and glorious as the gaming-rig sitting next to it. The curved monitor can display resolutions of up to 3440 x 1440 with response times of as low as 1ms. This monitor also boasts a five-way OSD joystick for controlling and accessing extended display features and for using ASUS Game Plus modalities on-the-fly. Oh yeah, and it has G-Sync.

BUY: Asus ROG PG348Q

Tarak Underiner, OSU Concealed Carry Supporter, Found Shot Dead

Tarak Underiner Death Ohio State Student

Ohio State University student Tarak Andrew Underiner, a supporter of concealed-carry rights for OSU students on campus, was found dead from gunshot wounds on early Thursday morning. Police found Underiner’s body in a residence near OSU campus on Northwood Avenue. It’s the first homicide of Columbus, OH in 2017.

Our thoughts are with Tarak’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Who Was Tarak Underiner?

Tarak was a 20-year-old student at Ohio State University who also the treasurer for Buckeyes For Concealed Carry. As far as his studies are concerned, Tarak double majored in marketing and Spanish.

This past December, Underiner testified at the Ohio Statehouse in favor of passing Ohio House Bill 48, allowing concealed carry permits inside day care facilities and certain areas of police stations and airports. Within House Bill 48, there is also an “opt-in clause” that would allow public institutions such as Ohio State, to allow their students to carry or not.

In Tarak’s mind, the idea of concealed-carry wasn’t so much to stop mass shootings or attacks as much as it was to defend yourself from singular attacks. From The Lantern:

“It’s not really aimed at stopping mass shooter events,” Underiner said, instead listing defense against violent crime, such as armed robbery or assault, as more realistic. “If you have a late night at the library and … you live in dangerous parts of town, or are out late, being able to have, at least the option to carry a concealed weapon is an important right for Ohio State students.”

Below you can watch a video of Tarak discussing his opinions of concealed carry with Ohio State University’s newspaper The Lantern‘s video series Lantern TV.

What Happened?

Police responded to reports of a gunshot inside the residence where Tarak was found at 12:30 AM Thursday. He was found unresponsive and dead on the scene at 12:41 AM.

“Investigators do not believe this incident was random in nature nor has any connection to the University,” the police report states. There was no sign of forced entry. Police interviewed Underiner’s roommates but didn’t immediately consider them suspects.

Got To Respect This Curvy Blonde Chick Who Owns Up To Being A Sugar Baby

0
0

I’m a huge believer in calling a spade a spade. Nothing bothers me more than people blatantly doing something yet treating the rest of the world like a bunch of idiots by trying to hide it. For example, Martin Shkreli: His lone redeeming quality is that he is totally unapologetic about how much of an asshole he is. Kanye West, same thing. Go ahead and be a disgraceful person, but at least have the cajones to own it.

That’s why I’m in full support of  Jeanemarie Almulla, a former beauty queen who’s totally open and honest about the fact that she lives a lavish lifestyle due to the fact that she’s a total sugar baby. The 25-year-old Floridian (of course!) enjoys her baller AF lifestyle due to a gang of sugar daddies who take her out to dinner, buy her fancy clothes, take her on vacation, and even give her straight up cash. All because she’s moderately attractive. Nice life.

However, it gets even better once we introduce you to the irony of Jeanemarie’s situation: she describes herself as a feminist and champion of women’s rights.

Via Daily Mail:

She insists she is simply making the most of her looks and intelligence – something she urges other women to also do.

She said: ‘I have no problem with working hard but I’d rather work smart. Men are supposed to be caregivers and take care of women.

The sugar baby, who speaks three languages and has a degree in International Relations, doesn’t see any conflict of interests between her life as a sugar baby and her work with women.

She’s even written a self-help book on empowering women as well as working with Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and talking at Girl Scout meetings.

Okay, so the whole language and International Relations has me beyond impressed. Chick is hot, smart, and fearless. That’s a hell of a combo. Sure, she may be a little thick for my taste, but I’ll forget all about that while she’s on top of me explaining geopolitics in another language.

Word to the wise for all the rest of the Instagram “models”: we all know you’re actually high-end escorts, so just own up to it already.

Miami Football: Top 5 Best Hurricane Tight Ends Of All Time Ranked

Miami Football Best Hurricane Tight Ends

Sun Life Stadium on November 23, 2013 in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Maybe the football world has just been spoiled in the past decade or so, but the University of Miami is now a hotbed for making talented wide receivers and tight ends. There were skillful tight ends in the early glory days of the 1980s who didn’t put up gaudy statistics like the ones today but who’ve still helped shine the light on Miami as delivering some of the best players at the position. Young fans will recognize plenty of names on this list, as the success has only gotten stronger as the years have passed. Below are the top five tight ends to play for the Miami Hurricanes.

5. Bubba Franks (1996-99)

Born: Riverside, California
Height: 6’6″
Weight: 265 lbs

Bubba Franks Miami

Matthew Stockman/ALLSPORT

Franks redshirted his first season on campus, but that did not diminish the footprint he left on the program. Franks was well-renowned for his one-handed catches and menacing frame. While today it’s practically expected, standing at 6’6″ and weighing 265 lbs was still noteworthy in the late ’90s. This helped Franks earn Big East honors two separate times and break the Hurricane record for touchdowns by a tight end, recording 12. Things would only get better, as Franks was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers with the 14th pick.

Franks would play nine seasons in the NFL with the Packers (2000-07) and New York Jets (2008) making three Pro Bowls from 2001-2003. He caught passes from one of the best ever in Brett Favre, who quarterbacked Franks for every one of those seasons. Franks would record seven or more touchdowns in three seasons, being emphasized mainly in the team’s run game as a blocking tight end. Despite the heavy lifting, Franks played in all 16 regular season games for seven of his nine seasons, proving himself to be durable. He retired after the 2008 season after playing in only eight games that year and the season prior.

4. Kellen Winslow Jr. (2001-03)

Born: San Diego, California
Height: 6’4″
Weight: 240 lbs

Kellen Winslow Jr. Miami

Winslow, the son of San Diego Charger Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow, didn’t burst onto the scene when he arrived in South Florida, but that was due largely to having an established teammate ahead of him. He still contributed in roles on special teams and played a role on a team that won the 2001 BCS National Championship. Winslow would live up to the bill in his next two seasons, catching 57 passes for 726 yards for eight touchdowns. Those set single-season records for Miami tight ends. He would have a monster performance in the 2002 BCS title game with 122 yards receiving on 11 passes and scoring a touchdown. In his final season, his production dropped noticeably, recording just 605 yards on 60 receptions and only one score. He still received the John Mackey award, given to the best college tight end, and was unanimous first-team All-American.

Winslow would be drafted by the NFL’s Cleveland Browns with the sixth overall pick in the 2004 draft. He would play five seasons with the team (2004-2008) before heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2009-11), Seattle Seahawks (2012), New England Patriots (2012) and New York Jets (2013).

He made the Pro Bowl in 2007 but otherwise has been a large disappointment from where he was drafted. For a career that’s currently on hold, he has 469 receptions for 5,236 yards and 25 touchdowns.

3. Jimmy Graham (2009)

Born: Goldsboro, North Carolina
Height: 6’7″
Weight: 265 lbs

Jimmy Graham Miami

The Oklahoma Sooners and the Miami Hurricanes at Land Shark Stadium on October 3, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Graham’s career has been well-documented. Playing just one season of football at Miami, he spent four seasons as a basketball player at The U before taking his gifts from hardwood to gridiron. The lone season was good enough to get Graham drafted by offensive genius and head coach of the New Orleans Saints, Sean Payton. The team took Graham in the 2010 NFL Draft with the 93rd pick in the third round. It was a pick chosen strictly on athletic prowess, as Graham only recorded 213 receiving yards on 17 balls in 13 games in 2009. However, in that short time, he proved to be a red zone threat, scoring five touchdowns.

Graham shoots up the list largely because of NFL success. Spending his first five seasons in the Big Easy (2010-2104), Graham was traded prior to the 2015 season to the Seattle Seahawks. In his seven seasons, he has been a Pro Bowler three times and has posted a pair of 1,000-yard seasons. He has played in no fewer than 11 games in any year and has scored 59 touchdowns on 499 receptions for 6,280 yards. When all’s said and done and Graham calls it quits, he could very well be higher on this list.

2. Greg Olsen (2003-2006)

Born: Paterson, New Jersey
Height: 6’5″
Weight: 255 lbs

Greg Olsen Miami

Like Graham, Olsen is still writing his football story, so his future success will only catapult him higher. Graham originally enrolled at Notre Dame but then transferred to Miami in 2003. He was a part of some down years at Miami, a program that was fresh off a pair of National Championship appearances. Olsen stumbled out of the gate, redshirting his first season due to a shoulder injury and then sitting behind Kevin Everett in 2004. By 2005, the starting tight end position was his and he amassed 1,235 receptions and six touchdowns in just two seasons. The limited action was still good enough to be taken in the first round 31st overall by the Chicago Bears in the 2007 NFL Draft.

From 2007-2010, his time in Chicago, Olsen made his name as a precise route runner. Ridiculed often for not bringing traditional tight end skill, Olsen made up for it with a vote to the All-Rookie team in 2007. The Bears didn’t think Olsen was worth paying big bucks to prior to free agency, so the team traded him to the Carolina Panthers where he has earned three Pro Bowl nods (2014-16) since his first season in 2011. Additionally, Olsen was voted second-team All-Pro for the 2015 season.

In a career that started off slow in both college and NFL, Olsen is finally reaching his stride having received 7,365 career yards on 622 receptions and 52 scores.

1. Jeremy Shockey (1999-2001)

Born: Ada, Oklahoma
Height: 6’5″
Weight: 250 lbs

Jeremy Shockey Miami

3 Jan 2002: Jeremy Shockey #88 tight end of Miami makes a catch during the Rose Bowl National Championship Game versus Nebraska at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Shockey set the standard of what was to come at the tight end position for Miami. Following Franks, he established himself as a very good blocking tight end after sitting most of the 1999 season. In 2000, he was proven worthy of receiving more passing opportunities after recording just 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns but also rewarded with Big East honors from coaches. In 2001, Shockey received 519 yards and seven scores in just 11 ballgames. He would be taken by the New York Giants in the 2002 NFL Draft with the 14th overall pick.

Shockey only improved with time, making the Pro Bowl in four of his first five seasons (2002-03, 2005-06). After spending the first six seasons in New York, Shockey went to the New Orleans Saints (2008-10) where he won a Super Bowl and then the Carolina Panthers for the final season of his career (2011).

Shockey was often controversial for his brash comments both on and off the field, but he possessed the best traits in both run and pass responsibilities for tight ends. In an NFL career that totaled nine seasons, Shockey received 547 passes for 6,143 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Overall, he has been the most impactful Miami tight end product at both the collegiate and professional level.

New Documentary Is Claiming An Iceberg Did Not Cause The Titanic To Sink

What a crock of shit. Next thing you know they’ll be telling us that Jack isn’t real, Kate Winslet’s boobs are fake, and that Bruce Ismay didn’t tell the captain to speed up. Righttttt. I’m all about staying woke, but this is just one step too far.

Ever since the Titanic sank, killing more than 1,500 men, women, and children, intrigue has always surrounded the tragedy. And here we are, 104 years later, and people are still churning out new theories, one of which claims that a problem that started before the ship left England is actually what caused it to sink.

A new documentary suggests that the sinking of the great ship may have been accelerated by a giant coal fire in its hull that appeared to have started as long as three weeks before it left port to New York from Southampton, England.

Via NY Times:

In the documentary, which was broadcast on Channel 4 in Britain on New Year’s Day, Senan Molony, an Irish journalist who has spent more than 30 years researching the Titanic, contends that the fire, in a three-story-high bunker next to one of the ship’s boiler rooms, damaged its hull, helping to seal its fate long before it slammed into the iceberg.

“It’s a perfect storm of extraordinary factors coming together: fire, ice and criminal negligence,” he argues in the documentary, “Titanic: The New Evidence,” which will air in the United States on the Smithsonian Channel on January 21. “The fire was known about, but it was played down. She should never have been put to sea.”

I’ll be the first to tell you that I want absolutely no part of this theory or documentary. Where are all my fake news truthers? They should be up in arms about this propaganda nonsense.

Cressida Bonas is a 27-year-old actress from Winchester, Hampshire, England. She is a granddaughter of Edward Curzon, 6th Earl Howe, which is pretty damn cool. Cressida made her on-screen debut in 2009, playing a cheerleader in an episode of the television series Trinity. She would make her second television appearance in 2016, taking on the role of Patience Oriel in two episodes of Doctor Thorne.

Cressida is also a talented stage performer, as she’s had roles in two editions of There’s a Monster in the Lake (2014 and 2015), The Importance of Being Earnest (2015), and An Evening with Lucian Freud (2015).

Even though Cressida has had plenty of success up to this point in her career, 2017 might be the year where she blows up. She has parts in two upcoming films, playing Mrs. Steen in Tulip Fever and Sasha in The Bye Bye Man. Cressida has a starring role in The Bye Bye Man, and the horror movie will hit theaters on Friday, January 13, 2017.

As far Cressida’s personal life goes, she used to date Prince Harry back in 2014. If she’s good enough for that dude, you know that a gallery of her hottest photos is going to be a treat. Enjoy!

WATCH: Chucky Returns With Trailer For ‘Child’s Play’ Sequel – Cult of Chucky

Cult of Chucky trailer

Universal

That’s right, folks! Everyone’s favorite killer doll is back in action to unleash hell in his new feature film Cult of Chucky. This will be the seventh film from the Child’s Play franchise. The last time anyone saw Chucky was back in 2013 for the direct-to-DVD film Curse of Chucky. Now, he’s going back to DVD and will introduce a whole new audience to his infamous brand of puns and violence.

Most people have childhood memories watching Barney. I do too, but I also remember watching the Child’s Play films while I was still a young boy. And now, whenever I watch those films, I usually laugh more than jump. But let’s see if Cult of Chucky will be any different. Maybe it’ll end up scaring the crap out of us (probably not, though). This film takes place four years after the events of the last film Curse of Chucky. In the last film, Nica (played by Fiona Dourif) is blamed for her parents’ murder and is sent to a mental hospital. Now, the real killer is back in the sequel to once again raise hell and seriously make things sh*tty for the main character. Check out the trailer below.

Nica, the protagonist of the film, is actually the daughter of the person who plays Chucky (Brad Dourif). The doll who kills her parents in the film is actually her dad in real life. Who would’ve thought? In the new film, professionals have her convinced that she was the one who killed her parents, until “her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic ‘tool’ to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar ‘Good Guy’ doll with an innocently smiling face.” According to the press release, Academy Award winner Jennifer Tilly will reprise her role as the Bride of Chucky. Don’t remember Tilly’s character? Here is how she turned into Chucky’s most unholy bride.

Excited for Chucky’s return? He’ll be back with his bride to cause even more chaos and end even more lives. The killer doll is back in action! You can catch him this fall when he comes straight-to-DVD. He may not be hitting the big screen anymore, but he’s sure to give us all a healthy dose of horror nostalgia in this new film.

Haters Will Say This Llama Strolling Down A Georgia Highway Is Photoshopped

Does anyone know why llamas exist other than their ironic value? Or why someone would own a llama in the first place? I’m gonna go ahead and estimate that if you’re a llama owner, there’s about an 80% chance you’re also a serial killer. Or at the very least down with a cult. There is no way that the dude who loves himself a llama doesn’t also dabble in the occasional murder or the occult. Ladies, if you’re ever on a date and you head back to the guy’s house and he has a llama in his backyard, get the hell out of there as fast as you can.

Via CNN:

Hannah Martin and her boyfriend, Matt Bridgers, had stopped in traffic Wednesday when they saw the llama casually wandering along Epps Bridge Parkway, a busy thoroughfare outside Athens, Georgia.

I first spotted the llama about 100 yards away crossing the road and initially thought it was a person,” Martin said. “Never would’ve expected a llama until it started galloping down the median toward us.”
Other drivers were also quick to notice the animal native to South America, which seemed unperturbed by the flashing blue lights from a police car. “It’s a good day for (Oconee County) cops,” one onlooker tweeted.

Samara Weaving: Hottest Photos Of The Australian Actress

Samara Weaving is a 24-year-old actress from Adelaide, Australia. Her uncle is Hugo Weaving, so it’s not surprising that she has a knack for acting. Samara made her on-screen debut in 2008, playing Kirsten Mulroney in 48 episodes of the TV series Out of the Blue. She would make her film debut in 2009, taking on the role of Fran in the short film Sprung.

Along with her work on Out of the Blue, some of Samara’s most notable roles have been as Peggy in Mystery Road (2013), Heather in Ash vs Evil Dead (2015-2016), and Indi Walker in Home and Away (2009-2013). She’s probably best known for her performances on Home and Away, as she appeared in a whopping 336 episodes of the Australian soap opera.

While Samara has already had plenty of success in the acting game, 2017 might be her biggest year yet. She voiced Brianne in the animated movie Monster Trucks, and she starred as Bee in the horror-comedy film The Babysitter. Monster Trucks will hit theaters in the U.S. on Friday, January 13, 2017, while The Babysitter’s Netflix release date has yet to be announced. Bella Thorne will also be in The Babysitter, so even if it’s a silent film I’ll still be absolutely captivated.

Now that you know a little bit about Samara, let’s take a look at some of her hottest photos. Pour yourself a Foster’s, grab a Vegemite sandwich, fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the gallery below.

No Wonder The Rock Is So Jacked, He Has A Toilet In His Gym, Duh

OF COURSE, The Rock pukes when he throws up. Straight up. Tell me The Rock isn’t the type of dude who doesn’t work his body out to the point of vomit and I’ll tell you that you’re missing the point. If The Rock pukes when he lifts, you bet your ass I’m going to start doing that. Quick fun fact for you: San Andreas, f*cking San Andreas, that movie where it’s essentially The Rock vs. Mother Nature, made almost half a billion dollars. You know who else on earth can do that? Nobody. Absolutely nobody can take on Mother Nature, win, and make $475 million dollars in the process.

So, when you wake up in the morning, look yourself in the mirror, and ask yourself if you smell what The Rock is cooking? Because it’s probably throw up. And if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for the rest of us mere mortals.

Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Kyle Korver has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are reportedly trading PG Mo Williams and a protected 1st round pick to the Hawks in exchange for Korver. Furthermore, former second round pick Cedi Osman, who’s currently playing in Turkey, could be a part of the package.

Korver, 35,  is averaging 9.5 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game during the 2016-17 season. Korver, who played college basketball at Creighton, holds the NBA record for the highest three-point field goal percentage in a season with 53.6%. Korver was drafted 51st in the 2003 NBA draft by the New Jersey Nets and became an NBA All-Star for the first time in 2015. He previously held the NBA record for most three-pointers in consecutive games with 127.

The Hawks, who are in the thick of the playoff race at 19-16, currently occupy the fifth seed. As for the reigning NBA champions the Cleveland Cavaliers, they are sitting comfortably in the East’s top overall seed with a record of 26-8.

The Cavs, who already appeared to have a cake walk back to the NBA Finals, are now all but a lock with the addition of one of the most effective and efficient three-point shooters in NBA history.

Plea Deal In The Works For Woman Who Drove Into OSU Parade, Sure Sounds Like She’s Pleading Insanity

Because we live in a world where absolutely nothing makes sense, a possible plea deal is in the works for the woman who drove her car into a crowd at a homecoming parade at Oklahoma State University. Adacia Chambers, who is charged with four counts of second-degree manslaughter and more than 40 (FORTY) counts of assault and battery, pled not guilty.

Back in October 2015, Chambers drove her car through police barricades and into a crowd at Main Street and Hall of Fame Avenue, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, home of the OSU campus. Four spectators died and dozens were injured in the crash. Chambers claims it was a suicide attempt.

via KOCO:

Chambers, now 26, of Stillwater, is charged with four counts of second-degree murder and 42 counts of assault and battery by means or force likely to produce death. All counts carry possible sentences of up to life in prison.

Her attorney, Tony Coleman, doesn’t dispute that she was the driver who crashed through police barricades and into a crowd.

Coleman, though, had given notice that he planned to raise the question of mental illness or insanity at the time of the offense. The defense attorney didn’t return phone messages Thursday.

I get that this is what lawyers do, but using the suicide/mental illness card is a cowardly move. If you want to commit suicide, you don’t feel the need to bring others with you. That’s not suicide. That’s murder.

Chambers’ trial is scheduled to start on Tuesday.

Mickey Wilson, A ‘Professional Slackliner,’ Just Saved Someone’s Life On A Ski Lift

Mickey Wilson Rescue

Skiing or snowboarding with backpacks is extremely helpful when it comes to hitting the slopes and not having to keep stopping at your locker or at the mid-mountain lodge. But anyone who knows anything about the mountain knows that skiing with a backpack isn’t without its own risks. Not only can a bag dislocate your shoulder if you fall improperly, it can also get stuck on the ski lift, causing potentially serious issues. And a ski lift accident that could have gone south fast is exactly what happened earlier this week at Arapahoe Basin in Keystone, Colorado.

If it wasn’t for Mickey Wilson (pictured above), a skier would have almost certainly died.

What Happened?

Mickey Wilson was in a ski lift at A-Basin in the chair behind a “friend of a friend.” As the “friend of a friend” tried to get off the lift, their backpack got caught on the lift and kept them on the chair. Even worse, the accident happened in such a way that they actually wound up choking by the neck on their backpack straps (presumably the cross-buckle that goes across your chest.)

Wilson, still on the chair behind, raced up the tower lift before he knew what he was doing. The thing is, Wilson is a “professional slackliner” (if there is such a thing) so he knew that if anyone would have a chance to save this person it would be him. Wilson literally slacklined downhill on frozen wires to reach the lift where this man was hanging.

“It was one of the most scary things I’ve ever seen, honestly,” said Mickey Wilson, as he recounted the rescue to the Denver Post. “Just seeing a person get the life sucked out of them. I kind of stopped thinking and just started acting.”

By the time he reached the hanging man, the man was unconscious. Without a knife and running out of time, Wilson began kicking the backpack with his boots, trying to break the man free. Thankfully the Ski Patrol had also arrived, and threw Wilson a knife with a perfect toss. Wilson cut the straps and the man fell about ten feet into the Ski Patrol who had to perform emergency CPR on the victim.

The craziest part? It’s that Wilson showed up to A-Basin to ski alone, but ran into some friends when he arrived and decided to join them. That’s why he was in the chair. Had he not shown up to ski solo, there’s a very good chance someone could have died that day at A-Basin.

You can watch the video of the rescue below.

These Are the Hottest Booth Babes of CES 2017

CES Booth Babes 2017 Photos

At the Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas 2017, it’s pretty much a given that you’re going to trip over CES Booth Babes everywhere you go. It’s a trick as old as time: get the eyeballs with the promotional models and hope that your technology or products can finish the sale. The only problem was that some members of the CES community actually were for the banning of booth babes from the convention altogether, considering that a large number of women in the tech field see it as demeaning and sexist.

The issue is that 1) promotional models are something that has been used for years and years in all different industries and 2) some companies are never going to shy away from the practice. The term “sex sells” exists because, well, sex sells. How else is a foreign drone maker or a flash card company supposed to compete against the hundreds of others in the same room as them? They can’t. In the world of business today, everyone needs an edge. And that’s why we think (and hope) that booth babes at CES are here to stay.

Check out some of the hottest women from the CES sales floor in the gallery below.

**CES 2017 just started on Thursday, so we’ll be updating the gallery as time goes on. Keep checking back for more**
