Shooters shoot and Vin Diesel just jacked up more ill-advised shots than J.R. Smith. Diesel is currently on a press tour to promote xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and in an interview with Brazilian YouTube personality Carol Moreira, Diesel repeatedly hit on her. The interview is going viral, as it’s super awkward watching Diesel try to make moves on a woman who is very clearly just trying to do her job.

The interview doesn’t start till approximately 1:15, as Carol makes an introduction in Portuguese. And the creepiness doesn’t really start until 4:23, when Diesel gets sidetracked during a question about Tom Hanks.

What a jerk. Judging by Diesel’s relentless pursuit of Carol, his atrocious sleeveless shirt, and his gigantic sunglasses, I’m guessing that he was drunk and/or high during that interview. I mean, he did compare The Fast and the Furious to Rebel Without a Cause, so it’s obvious he wasn’t working with a full deck of cards.

Via Uproxx, here’s what Carol had to say about Diesel’s aggressive behavior.

“He began to hit on me in the middle of the interview, say that I was pretty, and he interrupted the interview three times to talk about it. I was laughing, completely uncomfortable,” she explains in Portuguese, which has been translated. “I was not sure what to do. I just laughed because it was a very delicate situation. I did not like it. At the time I did not know how to react, but you will see that I was uncomfortable, it was not nice that he interrupted my work.”

At least one person was a professional in that interview. I wish The Rock came flying from behind the camera and whipped Diesel’s candy ass.

What’s your favorite school tradition?

Well, I go to UA so we have a lot of traditions. Whether it is attending football games, being involved in Greek life, or just hanging out with friends, it is all part of what makes UA so awesome. Anyway, my favorite tradition is singing “Rammer Jammer” after beating whoever we win. Considering we always win, it has become one of my favorite songs and memories of being a student here at UA!

Cliché, but where do you see yourself in five years? Ready, set, go!

I plan to attend nursing school in the near future. So, hopefully in five years I will be a Nurse Practitioner in a children’s hospital. I hope to be married and have children. I hope to be living somewhere along the coast, so that my weekends are full of beach days, sunshine and lots of shopping!

There are probably a good number of people who know Nellie Benner from the breakout YouTube show DrugsLab where Nellie, along with co-hosts Rens Polman and Bastiaan Rosman, safely experiments with various narcotics in the name of science. Even without Nellie’s looks, the show would probably be extremely successful because of the nature of the show–people taking drugs–but it definitely helps to have an attractive Dutch model on the show. I mean, check out these eyes…

Recently, Nellie has taken substances like cocaine and MDMA on camera to show her audience the real effects that these drugs can have and to discuss the dangers they come with. Other drugs consumed on the show include ketamine, space cakes, GHB, hash, pure caffeine, and others. Each time the hosts take a drug, they’re accompanied by a “trip sitter” who makes sure that things run smoothly.

Before Nellie started with Drugslab, she worked as a model and TV presenter/host for a number of Dutch television shows. I think it’s safe to say that her recent work with the Dutch viral show is her most popular. In addition to her on-camera work, Nellie also enjoys painting and art of all sorts.

No word yet on whether or not her recent trips have helped or hurt her artwork.

We’re heading into the meat and potatoes of bowl season, and we’ve got a good one on tap for December 31, as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will take on the Kentucky Wildcats. This is the 72nd edition of the TaxSlayer Bowl, making it the sixth oldest bowl in college football. It was previously called the Gator Bowl from 1946-2013, so this will be the third year it’s been known as the TaxSlayer Bowl.

Georgia Tech (8-4) is no stranger to the TaxSlayer Bowl, as this will be their eighth appearance in the game. They have gone 3-4 up to this point, with their most recent appearance resulting in a 38-35 loss to West Virginia in 2007. While Georgia Tech hasn’t had a ton of success in TaxSlayer Bowls, they’ve been one of the best teams in the country in bowl games. Through 43 bowl games, the Yellow Jackets have posted an excellent 24-19 record.

As for the Kentucky Wildcats (7-5), they will be making their first ever appearance in a TaxSlayer Bowl. Kentucky’s football program doesn’t have quite the same track record as Georgia Tech’s, as this will be just their 16th bowl game. The Wildcats have gone 8-7 up to this point, with their most recent bowl appearance resulting in a 27-10 loss to Pittsburgh in the 2010 BBVA Compass Bowl.

For the first time in its history, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will be one of the College Football Playoff’s Semifinals. While this is just the third year of the new playoff format, the Peach Bowl has been around since 1968, making it the ninth oldest bowl in college football. The Peach Bowl is always played in Atlanta, and it is one of the premier bowls in the country.

In the 49th edition of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Washington Huskies for a chance to play in the National Championship. The winner of the #1 Alabama vs. # 4 Washington semifinal will face off against the winner of the #2 Clemson vs. #3 Ohio State semifinal for the whole ball of wax.

The Crimson Tide has been their usual dominant self this season, going 13-0 and being the top ranked team in the country. This will be Alabama’s first ever Peach Bowl appearance, but they are obviously no stranger to big games. Alabama has made the most bowl appearances and won the most bowl games in FBS history, compiling an amazing 37-24-3 record through 64 games. The Crimson Tide won it all last year, and they will be the heavy favorite to repeat as National Champions.

As for Washington, they have gone 12-1 and are currently ranked #4 in the AP Poll. The Huskies have never played in a Peach Bowl, but they’ve been in plenty of bowl games over the years. Through 35 bowls, Washington has posted a 17-17-1 record. In their most recent bowl appearance, they beat Southern Miss 44-31 in the 2015 Heart of Dallas Bowl.

Now that you know a little history on both of the teams, let’s break down the 2016 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

With Nocturnal Animals getting rave reviews and keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, let’s take some time to get familiar with Ellie Bamber. The 19-year-old actress from Surrey, England got her start in theatre, becoming the youngest member of London’s Players’ Theatre Company at the age of 12.

In 2012, Ellie would make her on-screen debut, appearing as Olivia in two episodes of the TV mini-series A Mother’s Son. Ellie would make her first film appearance in 2014, playing Schoolgirl in the British mystery drama film The Falling.

Ellie’s biggest year would come in 2016, as she acted in four different projects. In television, Ellie played herself in The Fashion Fund. But her most notable work could come in moves, with performances as Tittie Ellison in the short film Bring Back the Cat, Lydia Bennett in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and India Hastings in Nocturnal Animals.

It’s clear that the best is yet to come for Ellie, as she’s just getting started in the acting game. It’s awesome that Ellie has so much talent because she is most definitely easy on the eyes. Talk about a win-win scenario for the fans.

Amanda Fuller is a knockout on ABC’s ‘Last Man Standing.’ This California-born actress is truly stunning. She’s been on the screen since she was in grade school. Now, Fuller has blossomed into a very beautiful woman. There won’t be a new episode of ‘Last Man Standing’ until Friday, January 6, 2017. We’re 16 weeks into the NFL season and it’s still unclear who’s going to emerge from the crowded field to win the MVP. Ezekiel Elliot, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and Derrick Carr are the current odds-on favorites, but no matter who wins I think we can all agree that the Bills Mafia have been the real MVP this season.

And for the last home game of the season, and reportedly Rex Ryan’s time in Buffalo, the Bills Mafia truly brought the heat in the frigid cold this morning. Case in point, watch this guy dressed as Santa Claus jump off an RV through a table. ‘Tis the season to be rowdy.

To provide some in-game entertainment during last night’s Kings-Timberwolves game, Minnesota’s mascot Crunch the Wolf got into the Christmas spirit and handed out some presents to some children in attendance. The segment ended with an epic  troll move, with Crunch gifting a kid rocking a DeMarcus Cousins jersey a brand-new PlayStation 4 before quickly reneging and taking the PS4 back from the stunned child.

While some people might think it’s an asshole move to punk a child in this manner, that’s precisely why I like it. Participation trophies turn children into entitled pricks, and giving a kid a PS4 while wearing the opponent’s jersey would have been the ultimate participation trophy.

I get that he’s just a child but if you live in Minnesota, what the hell are you doing rooting for the Sacramento Kings? Like I get the Timberwolves have been downright dreadful for this kid’s entire life but if you’re going to abandon your hometown squad you might as well jump on the bandwagon of a team like the Warriors or Cavaliers. Not the goddamn Sacramento Kings, whose cumulative record since 2005 is worse than every team in the league besides for the Timberwolves.

And the child wasn’t just wearing any Kings jersey, but a DeMarcus Cousins jersey. You know, the guy who in the last week has been under fire after another incident in which he bullied a member of the media for doing his job. So basically this kid’s parents have him steadily on the path to being an inconsiderate jerk when he grows up.

So this child needed to be taught a lesson before it was too late, and it looked like Crunch had done it in legendary fashion.

But apparently the whole thing was a ruse, and the Kings fan was in fact eventually given the PS4, as shown in the tweet below by the Timberwolves official account. That’s pure softness on the part of the Minnesota franchise, and it’s no surprise that their disappointing 9-20 team lost to the Kings after this on their home floor.

It’s been a rough year for the Cleveland Browns. Sure, pretty much every season has been rough since the Browns were reincarnated in 1999 after Art Modell moved the original Browns franchise to Baltimore in the middle of the night, but this Browns team has been uniquely dreadful.

After a year the Cavaliers won Cleveland’s first championship since forever ago, it appeared that the Browns were going to miraculously spoil 2016 for Cleveland by going 0-16, but today the Browns gave their fans an unexpected Christmas present, winning their first game of the season with just one game left next weekend.

With 19 rookies currently on their 53-man roster and a poo-platter of  RGIII, Josh McCown and Cody Kessler as their quarterbacks, the Browns had been as pathetic as any team in NFL history coming into today’s home game vs. the Chargers. But sometimes it’s better to be pathetic than apathetic, as the San Diego team who arrived with a 5-9 record showed today.

In the end, the Browns were able to squeak out a 20-17 victory after Chargers kicker Josh Lambo missed a 45-yard field goal attempt wide left as time expired.

Truly a Christmas miracle. Congratulations to the Browns, and all their fans. Especially these poor guys.

Christmastime is always pretty awkward for us Jews. The sight of Christmas lights everywhere, Christmas tunes on the radio, and people dressing up like Santa Claus remind us of just how small minority we actually are in this country. On the one hand we’re happy for the majority of Americans for whom Christmas is the most joyful day of the year, but on the other hand we feel completely left out as we glumly eat at our local Chinese restaurant.

But this year, thanks to a coincidence caused by the fact that Jews still use a lunar calendar for unclear reasons, Christmas Eve and the first night of Hanukkah are actually on the same night.

For those who don’t know, Hanukkah is an 8-day Jewish holiday that we light the menorah, play dreidel, eat latkes, and exchange presents. It’s formally a celebration of the Maccabee Revolt that happened way before Jesus Christ ever hit the scene, but the main reason Jews celebrate it in America these days is so their kids don’t feel so bad about missing out on Christmas that they ask their parents to convert to Christianity.

Regardless of whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or neither, you should get a kick out of these Hanukkah memes.

Blade Runner

Blade Runner is the latest classic movie to get an unexpected sequel, and with Ridley Scott directing and Ryan Gosling starring alongside Harrison Ford, Blade Runner 2049 looks like it’ll be more than just a cash-in on 80’s nostalgia. Unfortunately, we’ll have a while to wait before we find out if they did the original justice because Blade Runner 2049 won’t be in theaters until October 6th, 2017.

The Emoji Movie

How you feel about this movie will probably be strongly correlated to how you feel about emojis in general. The first trailer for The Emoji Movie features a “meh”, which happens to be how I feel about it. But just based on how much a lot of people love emojis, this animated flick will probably be a hit. T.J. Miller, Ilana Glazer and James Corden are confirmed to have lent their voices to The Emoji Movie, which hits theaters August 4th, 2017.

How to be a Latin Lover

I’m not sure how I feel about this movie. I didn’t find the trailer particularly funny but I like everybody in the cast that includes Salma Hayek, Rob Lowe and Kristen Bell. In all likelihood I won’t see this one in theaters, but you can beginning on April 28th, 2017.

The Lost City of Z

Based on true events from the 1920’s, The Lost City of Z tells the tale of British explorer Percy Fawcett’s quest to find an ancient lost city in the Amazon. Given that setting, it’s fitting that the film is produced by Amazon Studios. There aren’t any A-listers in the cast that has Charlie Hunnam in the lead role, but Brad Pitt is one of the film’s producers.

The film debuted at the New York Film Festival in October to mostly positive reviews, and is scheduled for a wide release on April 21st, 2017.

Every year, the NBA treats its fans to some of the best matchups in the league, and this year is certainly no different. Front and center is the marquee matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers–a rematch of the 2016 NBA Finals. Since the Cavaliers won the Championship last year, it’s only right that they get to play in front of the fans and family on Christmas Day, so the Warriors will have to travel to the Quicken Loans Arena to get the win.

Although this is just a regular season game, this will be a big test for the Cavaliers who will be without JR Smith for up to 14 weeks. But if they can get the win without JR against the Warriors, that bodes well for the rest of their season.

As for the Warriors? Well they are pretty excited to show the Cavaliers how they’ve improved with the addition of Kevin Durant. This will be the first of two times that the Warriors and Cavaliers will play each other, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of plays and schemes they try against each other.

There will be a Christmas Day invasion of the Boston Celtics in MSG. The number three in the Eastern Conference stepping on the home-turf of the New York Knicks, who are number five in the same conference. Both are extremely talented teams in the NBA, and the Knicks are just coming off of an impressive victory against the Orlando Magic with Thursday night’s game ending with a score of 106-95. Another victory for the Knicks will surely push them up the ranks of the Eastern Division and knock the Celtics down a peg or two.

In a hilarious mix-up, a Catholic church in Sri Lanka posted the lyrics to Tupac Shakur’s hit ‘Hail Mary’, which was released posthumously months after the iconic rapper’s September 1996 death.

Tupac, or Makaveli as he was calling himself then, begins his first verse with the iconic line,”I ain’t a killer but don’t push me/ Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting p**sy”. That strikes a slightly different tone than the Catholic prayer it is named after, which begins, “Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.”

According to the Daily Mail, Catholic 2016 Joy to the World Festival, which was held at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, and over 1,000 flyers with the lyrics were printed.

The reigning Super Bowl Champions are once again the underdogs. But if Denver gets their Christmas wish, they’ll finally be able to overcome the Kansas City Chiefs. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are only one win away from securing their spot in the playoffs. If the Chiefs once again beat the Broncos then they’ll be on the path to their own Super Bowl year. But the Broncos aren’t going to give up so easily; they still have a shot, and they’ll look to run through the Chiefs to survive in a highly competitive league.

The rivalry between the Broncos and the Chiefs dates all the way back to  October 30, 1960. They’ve been feuding ever since the Chiefs were known as the Texans and played out of Dallas (they changed their name to the Chiefs in 1963 when they moved to Kansas City). I discussed the long-standing history between the Broncos and Chiefs in last month’s live stream between these two teams, so I won’t really get into it over here.

The Chiefs may be ranked higher than the Broncos when it comes to their win/loss record this season, but both teams have been struggling with their offensive. Both teams are also coming off a recent defeat. The Broncos were crushed last Sunday against the New England Patriots, ending the game with a score of 16-3 (ouch!). Earlier that same day, the Chiefs fell to the Tennessee Titans with a score of 19-17 (despite a 14-0 early lead by the Kansas City team). In the second half of last Sunday’s game between the Titans and Chiefs, the Kansas City team’s offensive completely evaporated. Now, both teams are looking to make up for last week’s disappointing defeat. The Chiefs are looking towards making the playoffs by defeating the Broncos tonight. Meanwhile, the Denver team is looking to build momentum and make up for last month’s defeat against the Chiefs. The Broncos have went from being Super Bowl Champions to being total underdogs against this Kansas City team. Will the Broncos be able to pull off a huge upset against the Chiefs? Or will the Chiefs conquer the Broncos and move onto the playoffs?

The first trailer for Alien: Covenant was released today, and it’s absolutely wild.

Ridley Scott is back in the director’s chair just as he’s been for every movie in this storied franchise. It’s a follow-up to the 2012 hit Prometheus, the first in the series’s modern reboot, and Michael Fassbender again plays the lead role. Danny McBride and James Franco are among the actors not in the Prometheus who are apart of the cast.

If you haven’t yet seen Prometheus, or the old Alien movies for that matter, watch the trailer below and then get on that before this hits theaters on May 19th, 2017.

Captain Underpants is coming to the big-screen and, because I’m basically a six-year-old boy in a 23-year-old man’s body, I can’t flipping wait.

For those of you unfamiliar with Captain Underpants, I’m sorry about your childhood. Oh and here’s a brief description via the Entertainment Weekly article that provided an exclusive first look.

Based on Dav Pilkey’s long-running and frequently banned kids’ books, the animated Captain Underpants follows George Beard (Kevin Hart) and Harold Hutchins (Thomas Middleditch), two fourth graders who hypnotize their tyrannical principal (Ed Helms) into stripping down, tying a curtain around his neck, and declaring himself Earth’s newest defender.

I’m not really that into typical superhero movies, and that’s probably because I never read any superhero comic books when I was a kid. Instead I spent my time devouring all the Captain Underpants books I could get my hands on, and laughing my ass off all the way through.

In fact, I was such a massive Captain Underpants fan in first grade that when we had to decorate pumpkins for Halloween to display in entrance to the school, I made mine into Captain Underpants complete with my dad’s tighty-whities. And because I have the worst luck, within a few days my pumpkin started rotting and it looked like my Captain Underpants had pissed himself.

Anyway, they made some great choices in having Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch and Ed Helms voice the main characters, and I really hope I still find bathroom humor as funny as I did back in the days.

If you find yourself working on Christmas Day then you’re either a) a Jewish internet writer or b) a professional athlete. Either way, you have to juts make the best of it to earn your paycheck.

Because Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, most of the week’s NFL games were played yesterday to avoid upstaging the NBA on its marquee day. But there still was an NFL doubleheader scheduled for today, beginning with the Ravens and Steelers renewing their blood feud.

Pittsburgh running back DeAngelo Williams made the best of having to go to work today by bringing the Christmas spirit to the workplace. As you can see in the picture above, the veteran arrived at Heinz Field wearing an outstanding full elf costume.
