Truth be told, this guy is a walking paradox: He’s walking around trying to preach about God, except the hideousness of his face is enough to make anyone doubt the existence of a higher power.

Also, shout out to this squad of dads for not dropping this guy. Remarkable restraint if you ask me. If I were the father of these kids, I can promise you I’d gladly set a HORRIBLE example for my kids by absolutely popping this dude.

If you follow my writing, you know I shit on McDonald’s every opportunity I get. They’re a cancer to this nation that does far more harm than good. I don’t know why people aren’t more woke to this and it’s honestly infuriating. Google the phrase “stuff found in McDonald’s chicken nuggets” and tell me that’s a place where a child should be eating.

With yesterday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, LA Rams head coach Jeff Fisher clinched his 11th losing season as an NFL head coach. On that same note, the Falcons have scored more touchdowns in Los Angeles than the LA Rams. The Falcons only played one game in Los Angeles, whereas the Rams have played six. And the icing on the poop cake that is the LA Rams is that their running back, Todd Gurley, who might be one of the best RBs in the game if his team was worth a damn, was recorded telling reporters that his team was running a “middle school offense.”

So if you’re an LA Rams fan, right now you’re probably thinking to yourself that Jeff Fisher needs to be fired. But who would they hire to replace Jeff Fisher? Well if you believe Albert Breer of The MMQB, the number one name on the list is Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh. Breer did an interview on Colin Cowherd’s radio show last Friday (before their game against the Falcons) to discuss the Rams extremely toxic situation. The interview itself was pretty pedestrian, mostly because he laid out everything that people could see with their own eyes, but the talk did end with a pretty big statement.

“By the way, Albert Breer on the way out said that Jim Harbaugh to the Rams rumor is a very real thing,” Cowherd said at the end of Breer’s segment.

Are the Rams even on Harbaugh’s radar? Probably. And what’s more is that the LA Rams probably want Jim Harbaugh. But the biggest question is whether or not Jim Harbaugh even wants to go back to the NFL. He’s got a really good thing going in Ann Arbor, MI and the fans really love how he’s turned the team around. Obviously the Maize and Blue want to see the Michigan Wolverines in the College Football Playoffs every year, but Harbaugh’s done a great job returning the Wolverines to the Top 10.

The upside for the Rams is that their owner, Stan Kroenke, is like mad rich. In fact, he’s one of the five richest owners in the NFL. So it wouldn’t be out of the question for Kroenke to offer an animal like Harbaugh $10 million a year to help bring back the sparkle of a team in arguably the biggest market in the NFL.

I was this close, THIS CLOSE, to changing my opinion of Kylie Jenner and deciding she’s not all that, that she’s too fake, blah blah blah, yada yada yada, etc etc. But, nope, she comes out with maybe the hottest photoshoot of her life and now my world is flipped upside down. But does that change the fact that I find her attractive? No, unfortunately, it does not. I’m still under the Kardashians’ voodoo curse and I still find Kylie Jenner to be crazy, other-worldly attractive.

Maybe one day I’ll break this curse. Today is clearly not that day.

Jeff Fisher has been fired from his position as the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams. Fisher, since taking over in 2012, has gone 31-45-1 as the Rams head coach. As of his last game as head coach, a 42-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, 42-14, Fisher now has 165 losses on his career, which means he is tied with Dan Reeves for the most losses in NFL history. The loss secured a fifth straight losing season for the Rams. The firing comes one week after the surprise announcement that the Los Angeles Rams had signed Fisher to a contract extension through 2018.

Jeff Fisher, whose job security became baffling as he led the Rams through years of mediocrity, was fired today as the team’s head coach. The team announced the move this afternoon.

Fisher was fired after perhaps the single ugliest loss of his coaching tenure, a brutal blowout at the hands of the Falcons on Sunday that ensured he would have his fifth consecutive losing record at the helm of the team.

Now the question is who Rams owner Stan Kroenke will find to lead his team in Los Angeles going forward. Kroenke is more focused on building a stadium than on building a football team, but if he can’t find someone who can help his team win, he’s not going to fill his stadium.

Fisher clearly wasn’t the answer, and now he’s out.

If you think about it, it’s actually nice of the Rams that they fired Fisher before Thursday’s game against the Seahawks. You know they’re going to lose that game, and that loss would have pushed Fisher ahead of Reeves of the NFL’s all-time losingest coach. Assuming he never gets another head coaching job (and he shouldn’t), Fisher ends his career one loss shy of infamy.

“Making a decision such as this – especially during the season – is one of the most difficult in sports. I have great respect for Jeff as a coach, person, father and friend.

One of the best traditions of the college bowl season are the gifts and presents that college football players receive just for making it into a bowl game. Every bowl game and their sponsor are responsible for creating gift packages (not exceeding $550 in value) for the 125 players per school to take home.

There’s no doubt that some bowl game gifts are better than others, but I’m of the opinion that the best gifts are actual things to help you remember the game–not just Beats headphones, Oakley sunglasses, or an Amazon Echo. Obviously all those things are awesome (and relatively expensive to buy) but making it to a Bowl game and playing in one are memories that these students should try to preserve years down the road. In ten years, all that technology will be obsolete.

But anyways, we digress.

The way that the bowl game gifts work is one of two ways. The first is that you get the gifts that the bowl game decides you get. The second is that you’re eligible for a gift suite, wherein the actual prices of the gifts are removed and replaced by a point system. The players walk through the gift suites, choosing which gifts they’d like, and then make their choices based on the number of points they’re allotted. Recently, Nintendo announced that they will be partnering with Universal Studios in an effort to create their own portion of the park. It seems that most of the park will consist of Mario-themed set pieces, but they have stated that they will also incorporate other popular Nintendo characters. Possibilities are seemingly endless here, and as a fan, I can only hope that the park turns out to be what everyone hopes it to be.

Nintendo also released a statement that Super Nintendo World of Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan will be finished in time for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, and they still plan to bring Super Nintendo World to both parks in the United States. No confirmation has been made about whether the stateside parks will be finished by 2020, but it is to be expected that we will have to wait a little bit longer.

What Can We Expect?

In a tweet made early this morning, Nintendo posted a teaser showing their vision of the park:

Here we can see Peach’s castle, Bowser’s castle, a Mushroom House, and what seems to be a warp pipe that leads to a ride. It’s very interesting to see what Nintendo has in mind for the park’s layout. There are tons of cool ideas that they could incorporate for props, shops, and rides alike, so I truly hope they take full advantage of their properties.

It’s fun to speculate about which franchises Nintendo will end up using in order to spice up their theme park; will it have our favorite characters from The Legend of Zelda? Maybe they will show some love to Metroid, or some other forgotten franchise? Many fans around the world are very excited to see what Nintendo does with the park, and I know that I can’t wait to visit it.

It has been estimated that Super Nintendo World will use approximately $433 million dollars to complete the project, and Shigeru Miyamoto and Mark Woodbury are working together to make the most authentic Nintendo experience possible. I hope fans around the world are as excited as I am that Super Nintendo World will be opening up, albeit not soon, but at all. It’s like a dream come true.

The OA has been so secretive, especially by Netflix’s standards, that this is the first we’ve seen of it, even though the show debuts Friday, December 16. The last time I binged watched a Netflix series in one sitting was when Stranger Things came out over the summer, so I’m totally due. Plus, little secret between you and me, I’m a sucker for secrecy. For the first time ever, Pizza Hut would hire one lucky guy or girl to attend as many NCAA Division I Championships as possible over the course of the 2016-2017 NCAA season. They would document the experience on social media and bring home a cool $50,000 for the journey of a lifetime.

Unsurprisingly, Pizza Hut received an insane amount of interest for this position, as over 1,000 people from 42 states sent in applications. When the dust settled, Jason Zone Fisher was selected as the Pizza Hut All-American, which I’m sure lead to many celebratory fist pumps.

The Cleveland, Ohio native’s first stop on his tour was the NCAA Cross Country Championship in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 19, 2016. He’s since attended National Championships for field hockey, water polo, women’s soccer, and men’s soccer. It was at the men’s College Cup this past weekend in Houston, Texas where I was lucky enough to tag along with Fisher to see what it’s like to be the Pizza Hut All-American.

In case you were wondering, it’s most definitely as awesome as it sounds. Pizza Hut pulls out all of the stops to make being their All-American the best job any sports fan could ask for. We had access to the field, locker rooms, press conferences, party suites, and pretty much anywhere imaginable at BBVA Compass Stadium.

And when there wasn’t a game being played, we were still treated like kings. I’m talking swanky hotels, baller seats at a Rockets game, swag galore, and of course, plenty of delicious pizza.

It was a weekend for the record books, and I’m insanely jealous that Jason still has plenty more National Championships on his docket. His next adventure will be on December 15 and 17 in Columbus, Ohio at the Final Four of the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament. Be sure to follow Jason on Twitter and Instagram, as the next best thing to having his job is to live vicariously through him.

In closing, I’d be remiss if I didn’t congratulate Stanford for winning back-to-back National Championships. My palms get sweaty just thinking about having to stand over one of those penalty kicks.

I’d also like to give a huge thank you to Pizza Hut for this amazing opportunity and a quick shout out to Lindsey for ensuring that I had a great time. She put everything together and handled all the pesky logistics to keep the train on the tracks.

On December 12, 2016 Alabama Offensive Coordinator Lane Kiffin agreed to become the new head coach of Florida Atlantic University. Kiffin will be taking over an FAU program that went 3-9 this season and will be replacing previous coach Charlie Partridge, who coached FAU for three seasons and went 9-27 in those three seasons but was fired back in November. Kiffin will remain Alabama’s Offensive Coordinator throughout the College Playoff similar to what Kirby Smart, the former Alabama Defensive Coordinator, did after taking the Georgia head coaching job last season.

Ealier last week Lane Kiffin’s name was thrown around amid reports that he was one of the finalists to become Houston’s newest head coach, before it was officially announced that Major Applewhite had accepted the job. Kiffin has been Offensive Coordinator for Alabama the past three seasons and during his time there the Crimson Tide have won three straight SEC titles, one national championship and are trying to win a second. Each of those seasons featured Kiffin getting three different first year starters ready at quarterback including this year’s true standout, freshman Jalen Hurts.

This will be Lane Kiffin’s fourth head coaching job of his career. He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 2007 midway through the 2008 season before being fired. He coached Tennessee for the 2009 season then went on to USC, where he would serve as head coach from 2010 to 2012. He was then fired five games into the 2013 season. On December 14, 2014 Kiffin then became the Offensive Coordinator of Alabama, which was where he shined.

Kiffin is considered to be a great offensive mind but he has had his fair share of controversy, particularly earlier in his coaching career, however last week Nick Saban said he believes that Kiffin is ready to become a head coach again.

Stanford University has a historically dominant women’s volleyball program, as they have won the second most National Championships of all-time. They have won six National Championships up to this point, bringing home titles in 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001, and 2004. A couple of years ago, USC Phi Psi threw a “Frost” party that looked like the most fun event that a fraternity had ever thrown. I distinctly remember thinking to myself that I had to post about it quickly because there was no way Phi Psi Nationals were going to allow the video recap to be up for even 48 hours. I think the video made it until the end of the day before it was removed.

From the limited memory I’ve been left with, I remember thinking while watching it that 1) the party must have cost Phi Psi a ton of money 2) the college girls who attended were straight out of Hollywood casting and 3) that I was an idiot for never even applying to USC.

So what has USC’s Phi Psi been up to since? Apparently throwing the same quality party. Check out their party recap from their FROST party which was held around three weeks ago.

The University of Minnesota may not have the women’s volleyball résumé of the other programs in this year’s Final Four, but they’ve really made some noise over the last decade or so. The Golden Gophers have won two regular season Big Ten Conference Championships (2002 and 2015), appeared in five Final Fours (2003, 2004, 2009, 2015, and 2016), and finished in second place in the 2004 NCAA Tournament.

Western Michigan University student Joeviair Kennedy, a red-shirt freshman for the Broncos men’s basketball team, has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old Jacob Jones. On December 8th, 2016,  Jones, a beloved member of the WMU community, was the victim of a robbery-gone-wrong. He was shot and killed in an off-campus apartment Kennedy has been suspended from the school and all of his information has been wiped from WMU websites.

While we’re not students or members of the WMU community, from everything that we read and heard about Jones, we learned that he was a valuable member of the Western Michigan family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jones’ family and friends.

Who Is Joeviair Kennedy?

Joeviair Kennedy was a redshirt freshman for the WMU Broncos men’s basketball team. Joviair was arrested on Friday. He’s been charged with armed robbery and murder following the death of Jacob Jones.

Before the robbery, Joeviair had played an average of 7.4 minutes in eight games and was scoring just over three points a game.

What Happened?

According to police, Kennedy shot and killed Jones while trying to rob him of his phone and money at an off-campus apartment located in the 700 block of South Howard Street. Other people were present at the apartment when it happened.

Week 14 of the 2016 NFL season wraps up with a Monday Night Football matchup between the 10-2, AFC-leading New England Patriots and the 7-5 Baltimore Ravens. Both teams need a win tonight, as the Patriots look to hold on to the AFC’s #1 seed in the playoffs, while the Ravens need a victory to keep pace in both the AFC North, and AFC Wild Card race. While Brady & the Patriots are an NFL best 24-3 at home since the start of the 2013 season, Baltimore has beaten Brady twice there in the postseason. Point being, if anyone knows how to take down Belichick, Brady, and the Patriots at home — it’s the Ravens.

After starting out the season 3-0, the Ravens then lost four straight, however since then, have ripped off four of five post-bye week victory, with their only loss coming to the Dallas Cowboys. Last week, the Ravens pummeled the Miami Dolphins 38-6, with Joe Flacco throwing for 381 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Baltimore enters tonight’s game having allowed the fewest yards per game and second-fewest points per game in the league. The Ravens also rank second in Football Outsiders’ defensive DVOA.

As for the Patriots, they once again have one of the best offenses in the NFL. Despite losing Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola to injury, expect Tom Brady to continue to lead this offense to huge numbers. This year, unlike previous, the Pats have a strong running game with LeGarrette Blount.

Tonight’s game has huge implications when it comes to the AFC playoffs, and very well could be a preview of the AFC Championship. The Patriots and Ravens always play classics, so make sure you find out how to live stream the Monday Night Football action below!

The Wisconsin recount has wrapped up, and not only did Donald Trump remain the winner of the state, but the president-elect actually increased his net margin of victory by 162 votes. He had initially won the election in the Badger state by over 22,000 votes, showing just how misguided the costly stab-in-the-dark was all along.

The recount was spearheaded by Green Party nominee Jill Stein, and was based on speculation by data scientists that Trump’s victories in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan may have been due to hacking or manipulating of the results. Stein has raised $7.3 million for the recount according to her website, after raising only $3.5 million for her presidential campaign. The recount attempts in Michigan and Pennsylvania have been halted by the courts in those states.

From the beginning, this effort was always wishful thinking by people who were in denial after being blindsided by Trump’s victory. Political fundraising is always to a certain degree about riling people up to get them to donate, but this whole ordeal was a disingenuous way for Stein to raise her own political profile at the expense of undermining our democracy’s legitimacy. And at the literal expense of those who were convinced to donate to Stein’s crusade.

And it’s absolutely a problem that Russia orchestrated hacks to influence our election, no matter what Trump says. But there’s an important distinction being missed between the “hacking of DNC e-mails” and “hacking the election results”. There’s just no evidence to suggest that Trump’s electoral college victory should be overturned.

The fact that Trump actually gained net votes in the recount in Wisconsin shows just how ill-founded it was.  It’s time for progressives to come to grips with the reality that Donald Trump is going to be the president, and use their resources to combat the parts of Trump’s agenda they disagree with instead of attempting to delegitimize his presidency altogether.
