star wars trailer trust rogue one

Anticipation for Rogue One continues to grow.  And this week, with less than a month until it hits theaters, we were graced with the final trailer for the upcoming Star Wars flick. But while the new Rogue One trailer understandably has a lot of people excited, there was no shortage of other dope trailers that also dropped this week. Let’s take a look.

Cars 3

While most Pixar movies appeal to audiences of all ages, Cars and Cars 2 was targeted almost exclusively to to children. But from the looks of this short teaser, Cars 3 will have a much darker tone than its two predecessors. Hopefully this shift will make Cars 3 an upgrade over the first sequel, which has only a  39% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, by far the lowest of any Pixar movie. The Lightning McQueen comeback story doesn’t arrive in theaters until June 16, 2017 so we’ll be on the lookout for any additional trailers until then.

The Comedian

Robert De Niro is one of the greatest actors to ever do it, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been in plenty of crap comedies since the turn of the century. And while there’s certainly a chance The Comedian is another on that list, just based on the trailer it looks like a worthwhile romantic comedy. De Niro stars as a loose cannon comic legend, and  the solid cast also includes Leslie Mann and Danny DeVito. The Comedian will have its wide release in theaters on January 13, 2017.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Here’s the final trailer for Rogue One, entitled ‘Trust’, which could have the highest-grossing opening weekend of 2016 when it hits theaters on December 16th. There’s plenty in this new trailer for Star Wars faithful to chew on.

Silence

Silence is far different from the typical Martin Scorsese-directed picture, and frankly I’m not sure what to make it. In this film Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield are two Christian missionaries who journey to Japan to find their lost mentor, played by Liam Neeson. Despite my bewilderment, Scorsese has obviously earned the benefit of the doubt over his illustrious career.  Silence is slated for a December 23, 2016 release.

Tonight on HBO, we’ll be treated to a doozy of a fight, as Vasyl Lomachenko will defend his WBO junior lightweight title against Nicholas Walters. Both men can throw punches in bunches, and we should see a fast-paced, high-action matchup.

Lomachenko (6-1, 4 KOs) hasn’t been a professional fighter very long, but that’s because he had one of the most decorated amateur careers of all-time. He was an absurd 396-1 in the amateurs, and he won Olympic gold medals for Ukraine in 2008 and 2012. On June 21, 2014, Lomachenko beat Gary Russell Jr. by a majority decision to win the WBO featherweight title in just his third career professional fight, tying the record for the fewest bouts needed to win a title.

After three successful title defenses, Lomachenko moved up in weight and knocked out Román Martínez in the fifth round of their June 11, 2016 bout to win the WBO junior lightweight title. Lomachenko set a record by needing just seven pro fights to win titles in two different weight classes.

Looking to take Lomachenko’s title in his first defense will be Nicholas “Axe Man’ Walters (26-0-1, 21 KOs). The Jamaican boxer won the WBA (Regular) featherweight title by knocking out Daulis Prescott in the 7th round of their December 8, 2012 bout. In his most notable fight to date, Walters became the WBA (Super) featherweight champion after knocking out Nonito Donaire in the 6th round of their October 18, 2014 bout.

Walters would lose his title on the scales in his very next fight, as he didn’t make weight before his unanimous decision win over Miguel Marriaga on June 13, 2015. Walters’ only blemish on his record came in his most recent fight, but boxing pundits believe that he got absolutely hosed. On December 19, 2015, Walters moved up to junior lightweight for the first time and was given a majority draw in a bout against Jason Sosa that virtually everyone thought he won.

Now that the stage has been set, let’s break down all the different ways you can watch Lomachenko and Walters duke it out.

Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Nicholas Walters Tale Of The Tape

Miami Cubans Celebrate In The Streets After Fidel Castro’s Death: Must-See Photos & Videos

Following former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s death at the age of 90, Miami’s community of Cuban exiles has erupted in celebrations.

Castro had been a polarizing political figure since he took power in the 1959 Cuban Revolution. Though his record certainly isn’t all negative, the reality is that he was an oppressive tyrant. Cuban-Americans often had to go to great lengths to escape Cuba and flee to Florida, so the Cuban community there is comprised of some of the most ardent detractors of Castro’s regime. So while Fidel’s brother Raul has been in power since 2008, the former dictator’s death has understandably elicited a great deal of emotion among Cuban-Americans.

Check out the photos and videos from the festivities.

WATCH: Jim Harbaugh Rips The Referees After Michigan’s 2OT Loss To Ohio State

COLUMBUS, OH - NOVEMBER 26: Head coach Jim Harbaugh of the Michigan Wolverines argues a call on the sideline during the second half against the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium on November 26, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. (Photo by Jamie Sabau/Getty Images)

After his team’s crushing 30-27 loss to Ohio State, Michigan Head Coach Jim Harbaugh used his press conference to convey his displeasure with how the game was officiated. And his criticisms were far from unfounded.

He gave several examples of questionable decisions by the officials, including awarding Ohio State a questionable first down on a 4th and 1 in double overtime that would have ended the game.

Then Harbaugh went off about the decision to assess him a 15-yard personal foul for throwing a tantrum on the sideline after a call he disagreed with.

It’s a tough pill to swallow for Harbaugh, whose Wolverines now appear unlikely to make the college football playoff. For now all he can do is count down the days until The Game next year.

Colin Kaepernick Defends Fidel Castro (Only Hours Before the Former Cuban Dictator’s Death)

Getty Images

Outspoken quarterback Colin Kaepernick is at it once again! Many of you already know that former Cuban despot Fidel Castro died in Havana late Friday night. But only hours before the dictator’s death, Kaepernick was publicly interrogated by Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero, who was outraged by this San Francisco 49ers star wearing a somewhat controversial t-shirt back in August, which contained an image of Fidel Castro. Salguero called Kaepernick an “unprecedented hypocrite” for always speaking about fighting oppression and then wearing a shirt featuring a long-time bone crusher and human rights violator. This reporter was visibly upset over Colin proudly displaying and promoting a man who ruled with an iron fist over Cuba from 1959 to 2008.

In all fairness, Kaepernick’s t-shirt didn’t only feature Fidel Castro. This t-shirt displayed black-and-white photographs of the meeting between Castro and Malcolm X in September 1960 at the Hotel Theresa in New York City. So, it’s not like he was wearing a huge selfie of Fidel on his shirt. Kaepernick would also defend Malcolm X for meeting with Castro, referring to the move as “open-minded.”

The interviewer quickly struck back, asking Colin, “So, it’s good to have an open mind about Castro and his oppression?” Kaepernick would quickly switch topic back to Malcolm X, “I’m not talking about Fidel Castro and his oppression, I’m  talking about Malcolm X and what he’s done for people.”

But then very quickly, Colin flips the switch and starts to defend some of Castro’s policies, specifically Cuba’s educational system. Kaepernick said, “One thing Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here even though we’re fully capable of doing that.”

Cuba doesn’t have the highest literacy rates, but they’re pretty damn close. But still, knowing how to read Don Quixote probably won’t get you away from the dungeon or firing squad. In his article, Salguero writes, “Could it be Cuba doesn’t have to invest a lot in its prison system because, you know, dungeons and firing squads (El Paredon) are not too expensive to maintain?”

The reporter than pressed Kaepernick on how Fidel’s regime would break up families. The reporter also said that our (US) government does not break up families like Castro’s regime. “We do break up families here,” Kaepernick responded. “That’s what mass incarceration is. That was the foundation of slavery. So, our country has been based on that as well as the genocide of Native Americans.”

Salguero seemed shocked that Kaepernick would equate the (mass) arrests in America to that of Cuba’s most destructive policies. But Kaepernick is simply “equating the breaking up of families with the breaking up of families.”

This is true, Colin. The United States does lock up more people than any other country on the planet. This should not be trivialized. And Castro’s human rights violations shouldn’t be trivialized or put to the side either. But if you’re going to speak out against systematic oppression, why defend a systematic oppressor?

According to Human Rights Watch, “Cuban citizens have been systematically deprived of their fundamental rights to free expression, privacy, association, assembly, movement, and due process of law. Tactics for enforcing political conformity have included police warnings, surveillance, short-term detentions, house arrests, travel restrictions, criminal prosecutions, and politically motivated dismissals from employment.”

Here’s a recording of the interview, so you can hear the drama unfold in your ear drums. Please excuse this YouTuber’s (mocking and inflammatory) labeling of the interviewer in the title of the video, which insults Salguero’s intelligence. I don’t share this opinion, though I am more concerned with getting this recording out there to the COED audience:

We also have the video interview of Colin Kaepernick back in August of this year, wearing his now-infamous “Fidel Castro meeting with Malcolm X” t-shirt. Take a look yourself:

Lil Wayne Concert Cancellation Shrouded In Mystery

Kanye West isn’t the only rap superstar making headlines for mysteriously reneging on his concert commitments.

Lil Wayne was set to headline the SummerFall tonight in Curacao, but he bailed today. And the reason why remains unclear. Via TMZ’s report:

The one thing we know — Wayne won’t be performing. Wayne’s people will only tell TMZ he’s not showing up because of a “breach of contract.”

The people throwing the show claim they were told by Wayne’s crew the rapper had suffered a seizure Friday night in Miami. Wayne’s people deny this.

Hmmmmmm. Wayne has a lengthy history of seizures, with the most recent incident occurring in June when he had to emergency land an airplane in Omaha after suffering two seizures. So him having to cancel another concert is plausible. But if he had a seizure that would seemingly be a reasonable excuse, so the fact that Wayne’s people are denying it makes you think there’s something else going on here. Very fishy indeed.

Unlike Kanye’s fans, however, the Curacao folks who already purchased tickets will still be treated to a dope concert. Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Fat Joe, Yo Gotti and more are still scheduled to perform.

Giants vs. Browns Live Stream: How To Watch Online (Read The Results Here Too!)

The New York Giants are on the road again and will be traveling to Cleveland to take on The Browns (and no, not Cleveland Brown). The blue team from the east coast are on a hot streak, winning five consecutive games. Meanwhile, our team from Ohio hasn’t won a single game and will be fending off the Giants as the blue squad invades FirstEnergy Stadium. The Giants are looking for their sixth consecutive win. Meanwhile, the Browns are just trying to win one game this season. Best of luck to the Browns!

Update: Apparently with no surprise the New York Giants steamrolled through the Cleveland Browns, ending the game with a score of 27-23. The Browns simply can’t seem to gain a victory this season. Meanwhile, the Giants are continuing their win streak. Next Sunday, they travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. Meanwhile, the Browns will sit out for Week 13 (an infamously unlucky number) for a team with an infamously unlucky season).

Josh McCown will be Cleveland’s quarterback against the Giants on Sunday. He’ll definitely have his work cut out for him. He’s leading one of the biggest underdog teams in the league at the moment, especially when you’re going up against a team like the New York Giants. If he wants to lead the Browns to victory then he’ll have to be careful and not be so prone to turnover the ball to the opposing team. In his four games this season, he threw six interceptions and lost two fumbles. But don’t count out McCown yet, he’s led a team to victory against the Giants in the past. Back in 2004, as a member of Arizona Cardinals, he led his team to glory with a score of 17-14. And this Sunday afternoon, he’ll be looking to lead the Browns to victory against the Giants, and finally end his team’s season-long losing streak.

The blue team have delivered 14 sacks during their five-game winning streak. And at 1 P.M. in Cleveland, the Giants will be looking to make a sack lunch out of the Browns. But it’s hard not to love the underdog in the fight. The Cleveland team can still strike back and defeat the imposing Giants. And you can see it all live on your TV, computer, tablet or mobile device. Keep on reading to find out where to go to live stream the game between the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns.

Both the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals are in serious need of a win, but only one team can make it out on top in the Georgia Dome. The Falcons are coming off three loses over their last five games, including a crushing Week 10 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons are looking to make a comeback this Sunday. However, this Atlanta team is still leading their division (NFC South). The Cardinals, on the other hand, are not leading their division, so they may need this win more. The Arizona team has lost two of its last three games, including a disappointing loss last Sunday to the Minnesota Vikings 30-24. Now, the Cardinals see themselves in a wild card position; they still have a chance this season to make a break-through, but it’s a long shot.

The Arizona Cardinals are in second place in the NFC West division, only three games behind the Seattle Seahawks. Now, they’ve entered the Falcon’s home turf, and the pressure will definitely be on this team from Arizona. The Cardinals will be looking to turn their luck around in the Georgia Dome (and so will the home team). Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons will be looking to extend their lead and continue to dominate in the south. The Cardinals will be facing a super-tough hometown team, who is number three in the entire NFL when it comes to passing offense. The Arizona team will have their work cut out for them this Sunday afternoon.

It’s the battle of the birds! But who will come out on top? Find out by streaming this game live on your television set, computer screen, mobile device or tablet.

On Sunday night, the Denver Broncos will defend their turf against their longtime rivals the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos want to silence the Kansas City team and rake up a third straight home victory. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are looking to pick themselves up from last week’s defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and charge to victory against the home team players. But before they lost last week to the Buccaneers, the Chiefs were on a five-game hot streak with seven victories overall. Sunday night, the battle lines are drawn. Now is the time for football war!

Update: The Chiefs made an amazing comeback and forced overtime with the Broncos (by the way of a touchdown and two-point conversion in the final seconds). This Kansas City team was once trailing by eight points, and ended up narrowly winning the game 30-27. Here’s a video of the kick that won the game for these once more victorious Chiefs:

The Kansas City Chiefs have been battling the Denver Broncos since the early 1960s with 104 games between them. The Chiefs rose to the occasion on most of their showdowns with 56 victories overall. The Denver Broncos have only defeated the Kansas City team on 48 occasions. But in the Chief’s history, the team that they defeated the most is the Denver Broncos, even more than their win record against the Oakland Raiders, who the Chiefs defeated 55 times. A lot of pride will be on the line on Sunday night. And both teams are looking to improve their win/less record in this over 50 year rivalry.

The Broncos only face off against the Chiefs twice a year, so if you miss their throw-down this Sunday night then you’ll literally have to wait until Christmas. They meet again on December 25 to what is sure to be a most violent night of hard-hitting football. But that’s next month, if you read this far you’re gonna wanna watch the game Sunday night between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. Top 5 Ways To Avoid Scammers On Cyber Monday

5 Ways To Avoid Scammers on Cyber Monday

Shutterstock

Cyber Monday is always a frenzied day of online shopping and bargain hunting. And according to Adobe Digital Insights (ADI), this Monday is set to be the largest online shopping day in history.  The madness of Monday is projected to best last year’s record of $3 billion sales. But be aware that there will be tricksters and fraudsters sneaking around online corners, trying to scam you out of your hard-earned cash.

Last year, there were 1,100 underhanded websites that manipulated and baited customers using five brand names referencing Black Friday and Cyber Monday, according cyber-security company RiskIQ. One in ten mobile apps associated with Black Friday is unsafe. Damn, these hackers, tricksters and thieves are relentless. So, if you want to avoid being swindled, you should check out these five tips for safe shopping.

1. Don’t shop on public Wi-Fi

Shutterstock

Shutterstock

If you’re on the go, do not do your Cyber Monday shopping (or any other future shopping) using public Wi-Fi. Just don’t, you’ll put your cyber security at risk and hackers will be better able to access your info. But if you really want to shop while on the go, find a hot spot or pick up a better data plan for your mobile device. Verizon and some other phone providers give you the option to purchase a stand-alone mobile hot spot. But if you want to ignore my advice and shop on public Wi-Fi anyway then you can use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) like Private internet Access or Freedome, which obscures and protects web traffic and makes for more secure shopping.

2. Create unique usernames and passwords

Shutterstock

Shutterstock

Dude, stop using the same password for all your accounts! Seriously, if you’re using the same password for everything then you’re just inviting a security breach, which can really cost you ($$$). Some may suggest to use a random string of words, letters or numbers. It’s definitely better to make your password unique and not something your friend can guess because who knows how much of a friend that person really is. And you may have over a dozen accounts, how in the world will you keep track of all these different passwords? That’s why I’m sure some people are just lazy and go with one password for everything. But don’t be lazy! Being careful can save you a fortune (literally). But keeping track of your passwords can be hard, so, it’d be smart if you use a password manager like LastPass (totally free) or 1Password (free for first 30 days). Or if you can just write down your passwords the old-fashioned way and put it in a secure place then that would be just great. But make sure you don’t lose that piece of paper and also be careful that it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. The consequences can be disastrous.

3. Monitor your bank account

Shutterstock

Shutterstock

Obviously, a lot of people are making a lot of purchases around this time of year. So, you should seriously be on the lookout for anyone trying to steal from your account (since you’re purchasing so much, you might overlook a thief). “A lot of theft that occurs goes unnoticed, and once it is noticed often the goods and services have been delivered,” said Marc Boroditsky, vice president at security app Authy. According to Boroditsky, you’re better off turning on your notifications, so that you’ll receive an alert at every purchase made. Vendor sites like Amazon gives the option of receiving text message notifications on every purchase as well as updates on shipping status. These notifications may seem annoying, but you’ll be seriously thanking this service when and if you ever stop someone from stealing money from your bank account.

4. Use two-step authentication

Shutterstock

Shutterstock

Almost every e-mail client out there gives you the option to pick two-step authentication. You’ll have to sign in with your username and password as you normally do, but you’ll also need a verification code. You can access this code through a separate device like your phone. You should check if retailers have this option when you go shopping online for plenty of great sales on Cyber Monday. Amazon and Etsy do offer two factor authentication, so if you use these sites then you’re in luck. But still, check out TwoFactorAuth.org to find out if the store you’re purchasing from uses two-step authentication as well. This will make sure that no one but you is using your card to shop on Cyber Monday.

5. Be aware of links

Shutterstock

Shutterstock

Some links can very misleading and will try to rip you off by mimicking a shopping web site that you’re familiar with. According to RiskIQ, thousands of fraudulent apps and deceptive landing pages put many shoppers at risk at being hacked and ripped off. If the shopping web site is designed poorly, you should get off immediately because there’s a good chance that it’s a scam site! Make sure you’re actually on the store’s web site, check the URL. Make sure the URL begins with HTTPS, and look for a lock symbol next to the web address (this will tell you if the page is encrypted). Make sure those promotional e-mails that advertise deals actually link back with the company they claim to be (for example: info@target.com rather than info@target.co or info@targetcustomerservice.com).

Make sure to only download apps from the official Google  or Apple app stores, and research those apps well before you decide to download (and remember to double check). According to RiskIQ, 85 applications had infected users with malware, so be sure to download your apps from a source that is verified and one that you can trust. But be aware of the tricksters, as last year, nearly one million blacklisted apps disguised themselves as one of the top five e-commerce brands in their app titles or descriptions as a means of luring and tricking their victims. Nearly 30% of shopping is expected to be on mobile devices. So, if you’re planning on shopping with your phone, be cautious!

Be safe and shop well!

WATCH: Vontaze Burfict Deserves An Oscar For This Flop

Vontaze Burfict has earned a reputation as the dirtiest player in the NFL, which is a monumental feat considering that Ndamukong Suh is still playing. It seems every week Burfict takes a cheap shot at someone’s legs, to the point where it’s a surprise when he goes a whole game without at least one dirty play.

But today the Bengals linebacker showed his range as a scumbag isn’t limited to just dirty hits. In Cincy’s game against the Ravens, Burfict delivered this impeccable performance after being “head-butted” by Steve Smith.

With a performance like that, let’s hope Burfict decides soon to leave football and start a career in Hollywood.

If there’s one guy in football you don’t want to mess with though, it’s Steve Smith. On behalf of football fans everywhere, let’s hope Steve Smith can score his revenge before this one is finished.

WATCH: This Video Of A Ranting Trump Supporter On A Delta Plane Has Led To The Airline Apologizing

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - JULY 14: A Delta airlines plane is seen as it comes in for a landing at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on July 14, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Delta Air Lines Inc. reported that their second quarter earnings rose a better-than-expected 4.1%, and also announced that they decided to reduce its United States to Britian capacity on its winter schedule because of foreign currency issues and the economic uncertainty from Brexit. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

(Getty Images)

A video of a Trump supporter taunting his fellow passengers aboard a Delta Airlines flight has gone viral, and now the airline has apologized for the incident.

In the video the man is seen shouting charming lines like,“We got some Hillary bitches on here. Come on, baby. Trump!” The flight was from Atlanta to Allentown, PA.

Delta issued the following statement today:

“We are sorry to our customers who experienced this disruption. We have followed up with the teams involved and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight. Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone. The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and follow up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise.”

With the context of this video going viral, it’s obviously understandable why Delta would apologize. But the idea swirling around Twitter before the apology that Delta should be boycotted based on this was just absolute nonsense.

Sure the guy is an asshole, and yeah someone from Delta probably should have told him to pipe down. But blaming the airline for a rowdy patron’s behavior is just misplaced outrage.

This guy was clearly doing this to try to provoke a reaction, and we should learn from the people on the flight by ignoring him. Letting somebody like that get to you just validates his trolling.

WATCH: Ravens Exploit Loophole In NFL Rulebook To Run Out The Clock In Whacky Final Play

BALTIMORE, MD - NOVEMBER 27: Punter Sam Koch #4 of the Baltimore Ravens holds the ball for a safety against the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth quarter at M&T Bank Stadium on November 27, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images)

(Getty Images)

Down a touchdown with 11 seconds remaining, the Cincinnati Bengals thought they’d have one last chance to make a miracle happen. But rather than punt away on 4th and 11 and allow a potential punt return for a touchdown a la DeSean Jackson vs. the Giants, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh exploited the rules to end the game.

Ravens punter Sam Koch took the snap and rather than booting the ball away held on to it, stalling in the endzone. His offensive lineman intentionally held all the Bengals defenders until there were zeroes on the clock, and then Koch stepped out of the back of the endzone for a safety. While an NFL game can’t end on a defensive penalty, it apparently can end on a thousand offensive holding penalties.

Definitely one of the weirdest final plays in NFL history.

Kudos to Harbaugh for realizing the loophole and having his team take advantage of it. And congratulations to everybody out there who wagered on over 32 points in a 10-point teaser.

How Did Anyone Think This Holocaust-Themed Ice Dance Was A Good Idea?

In the most WTF video of the weekend, a pair of Russian ice skaters depicted holocaust victims in a bizarre ice dancing routine. If you’re looking for a healthy dose of outrage, you won’t have to search far because the internet is full of people ripping them to shreds.

Personally, I’m mostly just astounded that after someone pitched this idea aloud, somebody else replied, “That’s it!” And did nobody else, from the producers of the television show to the costume designers tasked with making the striped pajamas with stars of David on them, think that maybe people wouldn’t be exactly thrilled by something like this?

What’s made the video even more controversial is that the female skater is former Olympic figure skating champion Tatyana Navka, the wife of Vladimir Putin‘s chief spokesman Dmitry Peskov. It’s pretty unclear what message Navka and actor Andrey Burkovsky were trying to communicate, but the copious amounts of smiling throughout appears to trivialize the mass suffering of millions of people.

So yes, this whole thing is just an abomination.

The only person who comes out of this looking good is Ryan Lochte. Congratulations to him on shedding the title of the biggest jackass to ever be on a celebrity dance competition.

RGIII Can’t Catch A Break: Injured QB’s Girlfriend Tweets They Both Had Money Stolen At Browns Game

CLEVELAND, OH - NOVEMBER 06: Robert Griffin III warms up before the game against the Dallas Cowboys at FirstEnergy Stadium on November 6, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Jason Miller/Getty Images)

(Getty Images)

You have to feel bad for Robert Griffin III. The QB who showed so much promise in his rookie season in Washington in 2011 has since seen his career totally derailed by one serious injury after another. We tried to convince ourselves that maybe a change of scenery this summer could revive the RGIII magic, but after he signed with the Cleveland Browns- the QB graveyard of the NFL- it became clear that things almost certainly wouldn’t work out.

And today while watching those pitiful Cleveland Browns fall to 0-12, things apparently went from bad to worse for RGIII. His girlfriend tweeted out that he and her had the money taken from their wallets in their car after the car was valeted.

RGIII responded with simply an “Smh”, which coincidentally sums up his entire career since his rookie year.

And after people responded by asking what kind of fool leaves their wallet in a car that’s being valeted, Sadeiko responded with this tweet.

Seems like a boneheaded move on their part, even with the explanation. After RGIII’s been taking one L after another for the last 5 years, you’d think he would have learned by now to expect the worst.

Snoop Dogg Is The First Person Hillary Clinton Has Followed On Twitter Since Losing The Election

I honestly hoped I’d never have to see, hear, or write about Hillary Clinton for the rest of my days, but this story was just too bizarre not to look into.

You would think after losing the election, Clinton and her team would have no reason to continue to run a Twitter account. Her political career is over, and therefore there’s no need for her to create an image for herself… Unless Clinton is a true Twitter fiend, and if so, curveball. Either way, as Uproxx points out, her Twitter account is still alive and well.

And it appears as though Snoop has followed her back:

Maybe Hillary is making a push to be on Snoop & Martha’s Potluck Dinner Party to reingratiate herself with millennials for the 2020 election. God, I hope not. Either way, Twitter is weird, Hillary is a lizard person, and Snoop Dogg is the GOAT. Carry on.

Watch Dwight Howard, Known Bitch, Challenge A Fan To A Fight After Being Called A ‘Bitch’

When will Dwight Howard learn to just keep his mouth shut? The dude has botched his own career/public image so horribly that literally anything he does can be spun into a reason for everyone to hate the dude again. Needless to say, letting a fan get into your head and then challenging them to a fight is definitely one of those things that people will hate you for.

You would think that after a career spanning for over a decade, Howard would have developed some semblance of mental fortitude? But, NOPE, here he is on his fourth team, during his fourth year, still arguing with a wasted 20-something in the bowels of the Staples Center.

Dwight, grow up or retire dude. You and your career are just a nuisance.

Recap Of The Horrific Ohio State University Attack & Stabbing

Ohio State University Shooting

An active shooter was reported on the Ohio State University campus by the school’s emergency broadcast system just before 10:00 A.M. The active shooter alert was for the area near Watts Hall, on 19th and College. It’s the northern part of OSU’s campus. First responders arrived on the scene immediately, but students were urged to take shelter in place. After a few hours, it was learned that the attack was by a person who used a car and a butcher knife, and that the gunshots were Ohio State police officers who shot the suspect.

“Buckeye Alert: Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College,” OSU Emergency Management tweeted.

“Run. Hide. Fight” is the order in which you should try and save yourself. Running gives you the best opportunity, but if you can’t then you hide. Only after those two options are impossible should you try and fight for your life.

Update: 10:25 A.M.: One suspect is in custody, now confirmed to be dead.

Update 10:28 A.M.: There’s possibly a second shooter, so students are still urged to take shelter in place.

Update 10:39 A.M.: It’s now been confirmed that police are looking for a second shooter. That suspect was last seen near the garage near Lane and Tuttle.

Update: 10:44 A.M.: Police are looking for a black male, light skinned, aged 20-years-old with short hair.

Update: 10:56 A.M.: We’re also seeing multiple reports involving stabbings and slashings. You can read more on those attacks below.

Update: 11:05 A.M.: The second suspect/shooter is believed to be holed up at the Lane Avenue garage. The area is surrounded.

Update: 11:20 A.M.: Two suspects hiding in the garage have been arrested and taken into custody. No word yet if they’re the shooters. It would appear that the police are bringing witnesses to the two in custody to see if they can identify the shooters. SWAT are still outside the garage.

Update: 11:30 A.M.: All classes have been canceled for the day.

Update: 11:37 A.M.: The shelter in place notice has been removed.

Update 1:16 P.M.: Ohio State University police have now confirmed that there was only one attacker.

Update 1:42 P.M.: It is now being reported that the attacker is an 18-year-old Somali refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan who was a student at Ohio State. There is no known motive for what might have caused him to do this.

What Happened?

The exact details aren’t yet known, although now that it’s later in the day the pieces are starting to fit together. According to Ohio State University police, the suspect drove his car into a group of people. That suspect got out of the car with a knife and started attacking people. Soon afterward, less than a minute after the attack began, an Ohio State officer came on the scene and shot the suspect. He was seen by witnesses removing a large knife from underneath the body.

You can see a photo of the car that the suspect was driving onto the curb below.

An OSU faculty member who spoke to NBC 4 Columbus told reporters that one of his colleagues was in the Watts Hall building at the time and was slashed in the leg with a machete.

Multiple reports indicate that a fire alarm was pulled at Watts Hall, and when everyone went outside, that’s when the shooting and the attack began. This isn’t yet confirmed, but it’s a narrative we’ve read in multiple places. Below is a screenshot of a text message conversation allegedly sent by a witness to the first incident.

OSU shooting text message

We’ve also read that just before the gunshots began, a whistle (like a referee whistle or something) was blown. That’s when shots were fired and people began to scatter. It’s possible the police officer was the one who blew the whistle.

An OSU senior, Anthony Falzarano, said he was in class at the time of the shooting. He told CNN that “We heard a lot of sirens. I was in class and everyone got a text message at the same time for the emergency alert. Someone said they heard popping right before we got the alert, but I didn’t hear it. We are in a shelter-in-place right now in the building next door. ”

Homeland security and other emergency vehicles have responded to the scene as of 10:30 A.M.

*** WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES BELOW***

The photo below appears to be a person who’s shot on the ground. Whether they’re a victim or a suspect is still undetermined.

Students have barricaded themselves inside their classrooms with whatever’s available.

It’s now believed that the second suspect is holed up in the Lane Avenue garage, which is surrounded by police. SWAT Team is on standby and a bomb squad is on the scene.

Who’s Involved?

There are no names yet for those involved, although multiple sources are telling us that seven people have been taken to the hospital with injuries. Two have been reported as stable and there’s no word on the other five.

One faculty member says that his colleague was slashed by a machete as he tried to escape from Watts Hall in time.

Additionally, social media images (like the ones above) have been appearing to show one person shot on the ground outside Watts Hall.

It was then reported that a second active shooter was still on the loose. A perimeter was formed around much of Northern Campus.

Update: 11: 20 A.M.: Two people have been removed from the Lane Avenue Garage in handcuffs. It’s not yet known if this is a shooter or not.

Here’s a photo of the two men in custody.
