Actor, producer, and soon-to-be director, Bradley Cooper is one of the most recognizable celebrities on the planet and has seen tremendous success since he first came on the scene back in 2000. Over the past 16 years, Cooper got his first big break playing raging douchebag Sack Lodge in the summer box-office hit Wedding Crashers, and has seen his fame grow even larger by starring in movies such as Limitless, The Hangover Trilogy, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, and Guardians of the Galaxy. With all of Cooper’s recent success, he is one of the more sought out actors in the industry, and for good reason, but how much is Bradley Cooper really worth?
Bradley Cooper Net Worth as of 2016: $100 Million.
Let’s take a closer look to see how this celebrity from the city of Brotherly Love rose to fame.

After graduating from Georgetown University in 1997, Cooper moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting, where he got his first role in an episode of Sex & The City, in 1999. Shortly after that in 2001, he got his first role in a movie where he played Ben in Wet Hot American Summer. Cooper had smaller television and movie roles from the first part of the decade, but his biggest roles came from Wedding Crashers, Failure to Launch, and his main role in the hit television series, Alias, where he played Will Tippin for five seasons.

After some smaller roles in the movies Yes Man and He’s Just Not That Into You, Cooper’s stardom skyrocketed as he starred as Phil Wenneck in The Hangover, a movie that made over $400 million. From that point on, Cooper had become a full-blown movie star. After starring in movies that did not go over so well with film critics (aka All About Steve, Valentine’s Day, The Hangover Part II, and The A-Team), Cooper finally showed off his acting chops in a more serious role, where he played Eddie Mora in Limitless, a movie that received very good reviews. From there, Cooper started to grow as an actor and took on much more challenging roles.

In 2012, Cooper played Pat Solitano, a man suffering from severe bipolar disorder, in David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook, where he starred alongside Jennifer Lawrence. Cooper’s performance received such high praise that he was nominated for an Academy Award, as well as a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.
Following up his success from Silver Linings Playbook, Cooper teamed up with Lawrence and Russell again in 2013 on the hit film American Hustle, where he played FBI agent Richie DiMaso. Cooper’s performance was again received by high praised, and he was nominated for his second straight Academy Award. That same year was also when Cooper starred as Phil in the third and final installment of The Hangover Trilogy. In 2014, Cooper went back to his comedic routes where he voiced Rocket Raccoon in the box office hit, Guardians of the Galaxy. Later that year, Cooper starred as former marine Chris Kyle, in another box office hit, American Sniper. Cooper worked with director Clint Eastwood, and also served as one of the producers. For his performance and the success of the movie, Cooper received his third straight Academy Award nomination, both in acting and as a producer. With all of the success Cooper had in 2014, he made an estimated $40 million.
In 2015, Cooper did not have the same success as he did in the prior three years. After having a successful stint on Broadway starring in Elephant Man, he starred in Aloha and Burnt, both of which were not successful at the box office or amongst critics. He appeared in his third film with both Russell and Lawrence later that year, where he played Neil Walker in Joy. Unfortunately, the film did not do as well as the trio’s two previous films together.

Cooper’s only movie appearances in 2016 were as a voice role in Cloverfield Lane, and in War Dogs, a film he also served as a producer on. 2017 should be a better year for Cooper as he returns as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and is set to make is directorial debut in a remake of A Star is Born, in which he is also starring alongside Lady Gaga.
Over the past 16 years, Bradley Cooper’s success has grown alongside his acting range. We have seen him star in summer box office comedies, as well as critically acclaimed Oscar nominated films. As his success continues to grow in the future, so should his $100 million net worth.
