Can I be the first to say that the fact that Elliot Spitzer is still in the news is a testament to how much he generally sucks? This dude resigned in 2008 yet here I am, eight years later, writing about him. For context, Spitzer’s scandal happened when I was a freshman in high school. Now I’m a 23-year-old dude with a full-time job. Time is a circle and all that good stuff.

Anyway, Spitzer is back in the news for something good (question mark???) this time: the Russian prostitute, Svetlana Zakharova, who accused Spitzer of abuse, has been arrested for blackmail. Like I said, time is a flat circle.

Svetlana Zakharova, 25,  a $5,000 per night Russian prostitute (looks worth it, though), told NYPD detectives that Spitzer, 57, had assaulted her in a $1,000 hotel room in February after she revealed plans to return to Moscow. She then flew to Russia. However, according to NBC New York, when she returned to New York on Monday and was promptly arrested by cops for allegedly trying to blackmail Spitzer out of $50,000. What a classic Russian prostitute move, ya know? American prostitutes will just get you arrested and probably float you some sort of STD… but Russian prostitutes? They’ll extort you for every dime you’ve ever had. F*ckin’ Russia.

Spitzer resigned from his position as governor of New York in 2008 after he was accused of wiring more than $10,000 to an elite escort service. In a lawsuit filed in July, Spitzer had admitted to a relationship with Zakharova. That same lawsuit said Spitzer had paid money to stop Zakharova from making their encounters public, and that her claims of assault were made against him in revenge for him cutting ties with her. Zakharova also faces a charge of second-degree forgery in a separate case after she allegedly signed an $18,000 lease billed to a New Jersey man.

Eight years and one destroyed career later and Spitzer is still making the same mistake that got him here in the first place. Classic E Spitz.

They say that second happiest day in a boat owner’s life is when he buys the boat, but the happiest day is when he sells it. I’m not sure what kind of life Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko lives, but I’m pretty sure he’s extremely upset with his superyacht purchase after learning some pretty bad news.

So what’s this bad news? Luxury Yacht A, a sailing superyacht built by a German Naval Yard and bought by Andrey Melnichenko for $450 million, is in all likelihood trapped in the Baltic Sea. Because of an oversight from the German Naval Yard, this extremely large vessel is so tall it is literally unable to make it under bridges and so deep that it can’t make it out of any channels. I have no idea what’s going on in the mind of a billionaire Russian, but it’s a safe bet that he didn’t drop all that cheddar just to sail around Germany, Sweden, and Russia. Boats like this are at home on tropical islands we’ve never heard of, in countries we’re too poor to even know exist.

But its maximum height is 65 metres (213 ft), limited by the clearance of the east bridge of the Great Belt Fixed Link.

Life.ru quoted a naval source saying that the possibility of an accident is ‘very high’ if the vessel exited the Baltic through the Drogden Channel. The news outlet reported the masts could not be ‘folded’ or removed to lower the height of the vessel, roughly equivalent to the height of Elizabeth Tower, which houses Big Ben.

Look, no one thinks the Kardashians are the dirty ass crack of American society more than me, but what happened to Kim Kardashian is f*cked up and no one deserves that. When I was in college in the lovely, wonderful Rutgers-New Brunswick, me and my buddies had a gun put on our face, and let me tell you there really isn’t a more helpless feeling on Earth. That being said, everyone should feel some level of sympathy towards Kardashian. No one deserves that, not even her. She is a mother after all. BUUTTTTTT, even though I do feel for Kim Kardashian’s situation, I am 100% on board with this Halloween costume. Offensive Halloween costumes come and go every year, and this is just one of the many. For someone who has spent over a decade profiting off of the public’s stupidity, it’s nice to see someone profiting off Kardashian’s stupidity.

Costumeish, who apparently are known for their offensive garb, have decided to rake in on some cash at the social media star’s expense, selling a hilariously titled “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit” for an outrageous $69.99. Whoever is dumb enough to drop 70 bucks on a bathrobe, a fake ring, and a pair of sunglasses probably deserves to be robbed anyway.

Love the “*costume ring is made of plastic and not worth $4 million dollars.” It’s scary that people are so stupid that a costume company actually has to put that disclaimer in their product.

A 2009 YouTube video has just become official evidence in the case of a missing girl, Kayla Berg, who disappeared from a Wisconsin town two months before the video was uploaded. There’s a lot of debate on Reddit as to whether or not this video, which features a man named Patrick talking to “Walter” about a new girlfriend he met at the mall, only to then cut to a dark small room where a woman is tied up and screaming, is real or fake, but a lot of people are distressed about its existence in general.

Although we’ve watched the video ourselves (and it’s definitely creepy), we believe that the video itself is a hoax.

Still, though, there are a lot of strange similarities deserving of attention and mention. First, take a look at the video yourself and form your own opinion. Then we’ll get into the weird details.

So yeah, it’s definitely weird. I’ll give this guy that (because I’m sure that’s what he was hoping for). But there are a couple of details in the video that are strange coincidences.

First, Patrick mentions Kay Jewelers and JC Penney, both places that existed at the mall Kayla Berg visited the day of her disappearance. Second, the video was uploaded exactly two months after her disappearance. Third, the man who filmed it actually lives in Marathon County, which is just a couple of miles from Antigo, WI where Kayla disappeared.

Within the past 24 hours, this video has become a really big deal and even Kayla’s parents and the police have commented on it. Kayla’s mother sees a resemblance in her daughter and the police actually went to “Patrick’s” house but couldn’t find him.

“[It] sounded like her, looked like her, it gave me chills,” [Kayla’s mother] said. “Disturbing. “It made me sick to my stomach.”

Sprenger said certain details in the video had her concerned.

“The clothing could be a big possibility,” she said. “We do believe she was wearing that type of shirt, we know she had jeans.” [source]

There have been a ton of theories made about the creepy video, and the only thing that we can say for certain is that this thing is going viral quickly. Again, we don’t believe that it’s real, but there are a hell of a lot of similarities.

Growing up a Yankees fan in the 90s and 2000s, I have seen some great players play for and against the Yankees in the post-season. However, no player has been the rue of my nightmares quite like the Boston Red Sox’s David Ortiz.

Last night, Ortiz played the final game of his career as he went out not with a bang, but rather a fizzle and poof. There were no post-season heroics and no come from behind victory that many Red Sox fans had become accustomed to.

Instead, Red Sox fans were treated to a sweep as the Sox failed to come back at the bottom of the 9th. An anticlimactic ending to a storied career. While many are saddened to say goodbye to one of baseball’s greatest ambassadors, this Yankees fan can only say “GOOD RIDDANCE!”

The (probably wasted) fan rushed the stage, and grabbed Chance from behind. Chano looks caught off guard but displays solid recovery speed by pulling a 180 and tackling the fan to the ground before security arrived to handle the issue.

Cooper’s performance received such high praise that he was nominated for an Academy Award, as well as a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.

Following up his success from Silver Linings Playbook, Cooper teamed up with Lawrence and Russell again in 2013 on the hit film American Hustle, where he played FBI agent Richie DiMaso. Cooper’s performance was again received by high praised, and he was nominated for his second straight Academy Award. That same year was also when Cooper starred as Phil in the third and final installment of The Hangover Trilogy. In 2014, Cooper went back to his comedic routes where he voiced Rocket Raccoon in the box office hit, Guardians of the Galaxy. Later that year, Cooper starred as former marine Chris Kyle, in another box office hit, American Sniper. Cooper worked with director Clint Eastwood, and also served as one of the producers. For his performance and the success of the movie, Cooper received his third straight Academy Award nomination, both in acting and as a producer. With all of the success Cooper had in 2014, he made an estimated $40 million.

In 2015, Cooper did not have the same success as he did in the prior three years. After having a successful stint on Broadway starring in Elephant Man, he starred in Aloha and Burnt, both of which were not successful at the box office or amongst critics. He appeared in his third film with both Russell and Lawrence later that year, where he played Neil Walker in Joy. Unfortunately, the film did not do as well as the trio’s two previous films together.

Cooper’s only movie appearances in 2016 were as a voice role in Cloverfield Lane, and in War Dogs, a film he also served as a producer on. 2017 should be a better year for Cooper as he returns as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and is set to make is directorial debut in a remake of A Star is Born, in which he is also starring alongside Lady Gaga.

Over the past 16 years, Bradley Cooper’s success has grown alongside his acting range. We have seen him star in summer box office comedies, as well as critically acclaimed Oscar nominated films. As his success continues to grow in the future, so should his $100 million net worth.

There is nothing like a good Pixar theory. I saw this one on Youtube a couple years ago that actually almost brought a tear to my eye. Jon Negroni, a dude who runs his own movie review website, thinks he may have just uncovered the motherload of all Pixar theories.

Negroni thinks he has decoded the Disney-Pixar franchise’s hidden secret, while also unveiling the plot for Toy Story 4. The most mind-blowing part of the theory is that it all revolves around their hats. Hats!

As you can see, Andy’s hat is noticeably different from Woody’s. Why is this? Why wouldn’t Andy want to wear a hat that closely resembles the one worn by his favorite toy?
Remember that Woody doesn’t even recall that he is a collector’s item – a toy made in the 1950s. This is a deviation from other toys who know full well where they come from. It’s possible that Woody doesn’t know because he’s been in Andy’s family for a long time, possibly belonging to his father.
But we need more evidence. Take a close look at Jessie’s hat:
Ah, this hat looks familiar. It’s the same red hat with white lace that Andy wears. The only difference is that Jessie’s hat has a white lace around the center.

That is a hat that looks extremely similar to, you guessed it, Andy’s. The room is also pretty old-fashioned, leaving room for this to take place years before Andy was born.

The shoes of the future will cost you more than an arm, a leg, and a small house to purchase.

Up until now, the only way to purchase Nike Mags required luck and a lot of it. In 2011, 1,500 pairs were auctioned off on eBay and the final sales were about $4.7 million. This year, in order to win the self-lacing shoes you had to purchase a $10 lottery ticket for a chance to win one of the 89 available pairs.

That all changed today when Nike began its three-city auction tour with the only pairs that are available for purchase. The first live auction happened in Hong Kong and the winning bid was HK$810,000, which is equivalent to $104,267 U.S. dollars.

$104,267 dollars. You read that correctly. To quote the legendary Doc Brown from Back To The Future:

If you buy shoes for $100,000, you are sick in the head. That is an unfathomable amount of money for a pair of sneakers. A PAIR OF SNEAKERS! Why buy a small house, pay off your debt, or save for your child’s college fund when you can blow your life savings on sneakers that you’ll probably be too afraid to wear? Then again, the people that are buying these shoes think of real dollars as monopoly money. It must be nice to have throwaway money.

The next two auctions will take place in London and New York City and experts say that the price will only increase. The only saving grace in this is all of the proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation so you know what, I hope the price goes up in London and NYC.

Travis Pressley, a 20-year-old from North Carolina, was arrested for stalking around in the woods carrying a hatchet. This is just another arrest in the recent “Crazy-Clown” craze that has been taking over the United States. However, this arrest might have given the police some new clues to the source of the craze.

As noted on one of his Facebook pictures, Pressley sports a very large tattoo of the Hatchetman, the symbol of Psychopath Records, which is also the label founded by the Insane Clown Posse. The Insane Clown Posse, or ICP for short, is an American hip-hop duo from Detroit, whose trademark clown face paint and horror-themed lyrics are known nationwide.

While nothing has been said as to what influenced Pressley to commit this creepy act, it is pretty easy to infer that the Insane Clown Posse had some influence on his decisions. ICP’s fans, known as “Juggalos” were classified as a criminal gang by the FBI in 2011 and are known for committing crimes and inciting violence whenever possible. While Pressley stated that he only meant to scare his friends, his criminal history of larceny, along with the hatchet found in his backpack, suggest otherwise.

Now with one clown finally behind bars, law enforcement may be finally able to gain insight about why people are dressing up as clowns to scare people and find a way to stop the craze before things get even more out of hand.

Mike VI the Tiger, LSU’s live mascot, is dead at the age of 11. Mike VI had been fighting a rare form of cancer, spindle cell sarcoma, since May 2016 when he was diagnosed. Following the diagnosis, LSU officials announced that Mike would no longer be placed in a cage outside the stadium, a former ritual for everyone entering the stadium to pass by.

Earlier this summer, one of Mike’s handlers noticed an abnormally large tumor on the right side of his face. He was taken by a police motorcade, something for VIPs like Mike. It was hoped by many that the radiotherapy he began last June would help him defeat the cancer, but sadly that wasn’t the case.

Jana Kramer has done it all when it comes to the entertainment industry. The album was a critical and commercial success, debuting at number five on Billboard’s Top Country Albums. Kramer followed it up with Thirty One in 2015, which debuted at number three on Billboard’s Top Country Albums.

A new video has just been released by Radar Online, which shows Kardashian lounging on the couch in her expensive hotel room in the luxurious L’Hôtel de Pourtalès in Paris, France, while police converse with one another and search the area. This scene all played out on the night of the infamous robbery against Kardashian on October 3, where about $10 million in jewelry was nabbed from this Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality TV star.

Another piece of breaking news is the discovery of a pedant shortly after the incident in Paris by a pedestrian, which was soon found to be another piece of property taken from Kardashian during the ordeal. Since the infamous robbery sent shockwaves across the media last week, rumors are emerging on gossip, news, and entertainment websites suggesting the possibility that the robbery of Kardashian was founded on trickery. According to a story released and deleted by The Huffington Post, Kardashian made an on-camera confession, admitting to setting up the entire incident as a publicity stunt for her show. Meanwhile, her show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has been put on an indefinite hiatus. A spokesperson from the show’s network E! shed some light on the matter. The spokesperson said, “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume.”
