Wouldn’t this just be a total bummer? After stunning the world back in April when he took to social media to announce his retirement ahead of UFC 200, rumors of a Conor McGregor retirement have resurfaced again. While the MMA world was unsure if this a negotiation tactic, McGregor and his team maintained that the Irishman had truly retired. It was only after UFC President Dana White announced that McGregor’s retirement would result in him being stripped of the featherweight title that McGregor admitted t he wasn’t retired.  However, now, the rumors revolve around McGregor’s personal relationships, and not with the President of the UFC – Dana White.

Conor McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, has recently stated McGregor only plans to fight for another 2-3 years before calling it quits. Similarly, McGregor has stated his plan for his UFC career has always been to dominant the fight game, rise to the top, and then retire. Now, more than ever, it looks like that may unfortunately true.

Ahead of McGregor’s UFC 205 lightweight title fight with Eddie Alvarez on November 12th, the featherweight champion apparently has a big announcement “out of left field” to make according to UFC President Dana White. While there has been no official word yet as to what the announcement is, a report from SmackHisFace.com has revealed that after UFC 205 McGregor will announce his retirement from MMA.

According to the report, teammates at SBG Ireland have stated that the stress of press conferences, media and television obligations, and training, in addition to fighting, have put strain on McGregor’s relationships back home, and as a result he will walk away from the sport for a “significant amount of time” in order to “get his life in order”.

In addition, it has been revealed that McGregor, who will give up one of the titles if victorious according to Dana White, will be relinquishing both title belts.

Losing Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, their two biggest stars, in back to back years, would be a bad look for the UFC. While the UFC will go on and continue to churn in hundreds of millions of dollars, the fact that they cannot retain the biggest names in their sport reflects poorly.

Horde Mode is back, baby! And better than ever. Personally, this is the online game mode that’s the most fun for us to play because it pits you and your friends against everything (literally) that Gears of War 4 has to offer: COG enemies, Swarm enemies, and of coures mini-bosses.

The way that Horde 3.0 works is that you start with Wave 1, and the enemies become more numerous and tougher as you progress through Wave 10. Once you reach Wave 10, it’s a mini-boss round and in addition to the multiple baddies, you have a boss to worry about. Defeat that boss and you go advance to Wave 11, which is just like “Wave 1” but with tougher enemies. Rinse and repeat all the way to Wave 50, if you can make it that far.

Obviously the boss waves are the hardest to get past, so we’ve thrown together a lot of good tips and tricks to help you out with Horde 3.0.

General Horde 3.0 Tips + Tricks

• Communication is of the utmost importance. For everything in the game. Let people know when you’re down, or that you’re coming to help them when they’re downed. Let people know when you’re coming to help them.

• If your teammate dies, collect their COG tag and revive them for free (the first time) at the Fabricator. After the first time, you start to get charged points.

• If you have an Engineer, let those guys do all the buying. They can buy stuff for the low-low, meaning you get to save extra power for the later rounds. If you need power and have a scout, kill every enemy except for one and let the scout pick up all the power. They get 2x the power.

• Quick kills via the new Close Quarters Combat system (X-grab + Y-to-finish) are a godsend, just make sure that you’re not nearby another drone.

• Use the Power Weapons that are dropped by the big baddies and save the good ones in the weapons locker (which is a sneaky good thing to build early on).

Kestrel

Aim for the Kestrel engines

Weapons: Dual laser-guided missile launchers

The Kestrel is a powerful COG attack helicopter equipped with laser-guided rockets. Because it’s weapons are laser-guided, it has to choose one player to pick on before moving on. If you’re currently being targeted, get away from any/all turrets + defenses because the Kestrel will 100% destroy those. It’s best to just stay hidden until it moves on.

If you’re not being targeted by the Kestrel SHOOT THE ENGINES. The fact that they’re glowing should be a sign to you. The engines are the weak point of the Kestrel, so if you can get them quickly you should be in good shape.

Using the manned turret from a distance is a great idea here.

Snatcher

Weapons: Pincers, Spiky Tail Launcher

The Snatcher is a real pain in the butt, but is definitely a better alternative than some of the others. On the downside, it’s faster than the Carrier or the Swarmak, but the plus is that its weak points are exposed almost all the time.

• STAY AWAY from the Snatcher. Not only will it kill you, it will also gobble you up and take you out of the fight.

• The tail attack isn’t all that tough, just stay hidden behind a wall.

• When it rears up on its hind legs, light that sucker’s belly up with everything you have.

Carrier

Weapons: Earth Shattering Pound, Acid Spray, Homing Gross Exploding Nemacyst-like Creatures

The Carrier is one of the more difficult mini-bosses in Horde. Sure they move slow and expose a relatively large weak point, but they are extremely well-armored and the little things they spray out of their chest are pretty good at finding and hurting you.

• Stay away from the Carrier. Not only does it have the ability to shoot out its acid (which stays on the ground for a little while) directly, it can pound the earth and hurt you. Mid-range is the best place to be for this guy.

• If the Carrier is coming for you, wait until the last second before the homing spit things come for you. Then roll out of the way to safety. Simply ducking behind a wall won’t be enough.

• If the Carrier is going for your teammate, light that sucker up once it opens its chest.

Swarmak

Weapons: Two Turrents, Missile Launchers

The single most important thing you can do when fighting a Swarmak is to keep your fingers crossed that you don’t get a Swarmak. These things are tough as nails. The dual-wielding chain guns on their stupid hands seem to never stop firing, and if you get downed, you better believe that the Swarmak will walk right up to you and finish you off.

• We found that trying to take out the Swarmak earlier is better. Obviously you’re going to need to keep the drones, etc. off your back but trying to run around killing Scions seems to be impossible when there’s a 40-foot-tall monster with an artillery cannon on his head.

• Aim for the five glowing weak points on the Swarmak (head, groin, right leg, left leg, back/tail). On Level 10 this isn’t as crucial, but once you start getting higher and higher you won’t have time to waste your bullets or ammo. Explosives are a must. Once the weak points have been destroyed, they extinguish.

• As always, try to deal as much damage as you can from afar using the manned turret.

The UFC November schedule is going to be a great one. Having matches go from November 5-26 will please UFC fans. As a company that is still growing its fan base, the UFC will definitely continue to grow with this month of intriguing matches.

UFC 205 is the main event in November, and we’ll get to see stars like Conor McGregor, Eddie Alvarez, Donald Cerrone, Frankie Edgar, and more. Having UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden is a huge win for President Dana White. White mentioned how he’s been trying to get to MSG for quite some time and is happy it finally happened. UFC 205 will be on Saturday, November 12th at 10:00 PM so make sure you mark your calendar.

Ferguson (21-3) has won his last eight fights in a row. He recently defeated Lando Vannata in July via second-round submission which helped him get the fight with Dos Anjos.

UFC 205 can arguably one of the best cards in recent memory. The headline, Conor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez,  is obviously the fight that everyone is pumped up to watch. McGregor, who has a chance to have two belts, showed his usual trash talk tactics in last weeks UFC 205 press conference and predicted that he will beat Alvarez inside the first round.

Alvarez took this fight without negotiating more money for himself, but claims the reason behind it was that it’s “easy money”. I don’t think fighting Conor McGregor is easy money and I think Alvarez will have to do a lot more than expected to come out on top.

Now I have a strategy to fight. That makes a difference. I’ve always been a guy with a lot of stamina, but I didn’t know how to pace it. Now I do, and I can fight five rounds with anyone.”

And I thought I was living large when I got a swing set back in the day. That course is so goddamn cool. I can’t imagine all the time, money, and effort that went into putting it all together. But I guess it’s all worth it when you get to see your daughter’s face light up.

She is definitely a little badass too. There was no fear whatsoever in her eyes while she was making it through those obstacles. She even threw in some flair for her stuffed animal friends with that one-handed zipline performance. Eat your heart out, Odell Beckham.

And for the record, there is no way in hell I would’ve made it through those hanging steps. That has pulled groin written all over it.

It seems like every time we open a new Google Chrome tab, some fraternity or sorority are getting suspended for throwing a politically incorrect theme party. It’s painfully obvious to see how Hispanic or Black students would take offense to a “Border Party” or an “MLK Black Party,” but sometimes the PC Culture Justice Warriors take things a little too far. And what just happened at UW-Madison to the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity is just down right ridiculous.

The Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers were kicked off campus for throwing a “hick themed” party while in violation of suspension. And while yes, a violation of the suspension is worthy of some punishment, apparently the UW-Madison administration really didn’t appreciate the notion that sometimes it’s fun to dress in jean overalls, straw hats, and drink grain alcohol.

Dean of students Lori Berquam added her concerns in a statement Wednesday. “I am deeply concerned by the pattern of health, safety and legal violations that has emerged at this student organization’s events. In addition, its promotion of an event that insults people of a rural background is completely contrary to the values UW-Madison stands for and the positive, inclusive behaviors we encourage our students to engage in,” she said [source].

I’m no mind reader, but I’m guessing that these two young ladies were not on the best of terms. It appears that one of the women decided to jump the other in an effort to teach her a lesson. This turned out to be a catastrophic decision, as the element of surprise was most definitely not enough to give her the upper hand.

What a vicious and unrelenting beatdown from the woman in the Babe Ruth shirsey. She took her to Suplex City and pummeled her with right hands like there was no tomorrow. The ol’ Babe has gotta be smiling down on our victor from heaven with a beer in one hand and a hot dog in the other.

As for the lady in red, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!? I don’t care if you attacked her while she was in a coma, you clearly don’t have the fighting skills to get the job done. Just keep your ass walking down the sidewalk if that’s the piss-poor effort you’re going to come with. You’re an embarrassment to proud white trash brawlers all across the globe.

Fantasy Football is heading into the heart of it’s season, and finally, the contenders and pretenders are starting to shine through. After one or two weeks of fantasy football, it can be a little difficult to pin down what kind of production you can expect from a player going forward. However, after about four or five weeks, most players have shown you what their value is going to be going forward.

The key to any successful fantasy football players is value — it’s not necessarily about who you draft, but WHEN you draft a certain player relative to how much production they give you. For example, even though quarterbacks score the most points, you don’t want to take one in the first couple rounds due to the fact that you can find a similar producing quarterback after round 10. Cam Newton was about a third or a fourth round pick, but he’s having a down year so far. Whereas Matt Ryan went largely undrafted, he’s been the best quarterback in the league so far.

Therefore, the names on this list aren’t a reflection of who is having the worst seasons, but rather who is performing the worst given their draft position. So, without furtger ado, these are the biggest fantasy football busts of the season so far:

7. Golden Tate

Golden Tate – who was drafted about 4 rounds ahead of Marvin Jones Jr – was supposed to be the Detriot Lions leading receiver. After all, in 2014, the year Calvin Johnson got hurt, Tate racked up 99 catches for 1,331 yards. Heading into the season, many assumed that Tate would resume his role as the focal point of the Lions passing attack. As it turns out, Jones Jr is the Lions’ number 1 receiver, and now Tate can be found on the waiver wire.

6. Alshon Jeffery

While Jeffery’s production this season has been decent, the fact is that he was drafted in the second round but is producing like a player drafted in the fifth or sixth. While Chicago’s quarterback situation and overall team is a mess, that is something that many thought would feed into Jeffery’s production: he’s the only good player on the team. Despite this, he’s only topped 100 yards once this season, and has yet to score a touchdown. As long as he’s healthy, he’ll be a relatively productive player, but certainly not worth the top 15-20 pick price tag he cost during draft season.

5.  Jeremy Langford

Langford sucks, and anyone who drafted him is a fool. Unfortunately, a lot of people are fools. After filling in for Matt Forte last year – while he put up decent fantasy numbers – the tape showed a running back with zero power or ability to make people miss. Fantasy players are always looking for a three-down running back, which gave Langford some serious value. To the chagrin of those who drafted him, Langford has been anything but. Before getting injured in week 3, Langford rushed for a dismal 85 yards on 28 carries, good for a paltry 3.03 YPC. With Langford now in a walking boot and rookie running back Jordan Howard having a monster game in his first start, Langford looks pretty much unusable going forward.

4. Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins has some of the most tantalizing talent in the league. The fourth overall draft pick in the 2014 draft, Watkins had a solid, if not great, beginning to his career. Over the course of his first two seasons, Watkins hauled in 125 catches for 2,029 yards and 15 touchdowns. Although a small sample size, an average of 63 catches for 1,015 yards and 7 touchdowns per year is all you can ask for from a young reciever. Coming into year 3, many were expecting a breakout season from Watkins, however he produced anything but. Due to a nagging foot injury from last season, Watkins only had 6 catches for 42 yards this season until he was placed on injured reserve.

3. Doug Martin

Coming off a year where he was second in the league in rushing (behind only Adrian Peterson), many expected Martin to continue his top form into his fifth year. At only 27 years old and signing a massive contract with the Bucs in the offseason, fantasy players across the land expected Martin to be a focal point of an improving Tampa offense. Unfortunately for those who drafted him, Tampa has been erratic, and Martin went down with a hamstring after week 2. While Martin has a chance to save his season and recoup some of his value, his lack of production thus far, and the fact that he loses significant snaps to Charles Sims, makes Doug Martin a bust.

2. Rob Gronkowski

This is a tough one because now that Brady is back and Gronk is healthy, he will probably go on to have about 850 yards and another 8 touchdowns to close out the season. But that isn’t enough to keep him off this list. In most — if not all– drafts this year, Gronk was a consensus first round pick. Yes, he was nicked up. And yes, Brady was suspended for the first four games. But people were drafting Gronk in the first round nonetheless, and that’s what makes him a bust. Gronk has had less than TWO TOTAL POINTS over the first four games of the year, which is unacceptable for a first round pick, and could be potentially crippling for a fantasy squad. And for that reason — his inability to get into the game — Gronk is the second biggest bust of the season so far.

1. Odell Beckham Jr.

Look, I know that it seems like everyone is piling on Odell Beckham Jr, and frankly, it’s hard not to. Despite being a native New Yorker and having massive amounts of respect of the Giants organization, OBJ is a very hard dude to root for. But his troublesome in-game attitude isn’t the reason he’s on this list – his production is. OBJ, along with Antonio Brownm, Julio Jones, and David Johnson, was a consensus top-4 pick in drafts this year. But his production has been anything but. Beckham has only topped 100 yards once this year, and is yet to score a touchdown. By comparison, Julio has scored 3, AB has scored 4, and David Johnson has scored 3. Those three players are averaging about 20 fantasy points per game, while Beckham’s average is hovering around 10 or 11. Fair or not, Beckham was a top 4 overall pick, but is producing like he was drafted in the fourth round. There is simply no excuse for a man with that talent to be producing so little, and for that, he is the biggest bust of the fantasy season so far.

Derrick Rose is currently in a civil case against a “Jane Doe” who claims that the NBA Point Guard and his two friends (Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen) gang raped her while she was asleep and unconscious in her own apartment. The case has been highly publicized from the beginning, but recently Rose has told the media that he hasn’t been worried about the lawsuit at all. He’s confident that his defense will win out.

So confident, in fact, that Derrick Rose didn’t even show up to his own trial on time. At the time this sentence was written (12:57 PM EST), Rose was about to be an hour late in court.

According to witnesses statements, a silver limo pulled up to the courthouse, but once they saw the TV crews they peeled out and didn’t return. Most people believe that Derrick Rose was in the limo.

Organizers in Tucson, AZ are planning a real, actual “Clown Lives Matter” march in a show of solidarity against the evil clowns who are scaring the bejeezus out of everyone. This is not a joke. Well, ok, it is definitely a joke of a march, but we mean that it’s actually for real and going to happen.

According to a flyer advertising the event, “this is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!”

And you know what the flyer looks like? It looks like this. For real:

Umm, newsflash, clowns. You’re trying to tell people not to be scared of clowns and on the flyer you actually use, you put a straight up murder clown with blood on his face and teeth on the poster. And the font is also murder font. So yeah, you’re not doing a great job of convincing me that clowns aren’t dangerous.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Hurricane Matthew is rapidly approaching and that son of a bitch means business. It has intensified into a Category 4 storm, and Florida’s governor Rick Scott has told 1.5 million residents in evacuation zones that they need to get the hell out of dodge. None of this seems to worry Vanilla Ice too much, though.

Bold strategy, Cotton. The Florida Democrats didn’t appreciate Ice’s risk-taking nature, telling everybody not to listen to the mic-rocking vandal.

I gotta side with the Florida Democrats on this one. If you’re genuinely making your decision on whether or not to evacuate based on what Vanilla Ice thinks, then you need your goddamn head examined. It’s like that old Dave Chappelle bit about Ja Rule on 9/11. There’s a time and a place to listen to celebrities and it’s most certainly not when serious shit like this is going down.

Jesus, this show needs to come back. I could watch a f*cking toddler explain Thrones to a mute chinese man and still be enthralled. The show is just that damn good. While HBO’s new hit, Westworld, seems like it’s got the goods to keep me entertained for the next three months, NOTHING will compare to Game Of Thrones.

So, while we all painstakingly wait for Thrones to return in June or July or whenever the hell they decide to bring it back, let’s all obsess over every rumor and theory we can possibly find:

Back in June, I brought you this patently absurd story of an altercation between Georgia Judge Bryant Durham, and alleged murderer Denver Allen. Allen, accused of committing a deadly jailhouse beatdown last year, appeared in court representing himself, claiming his public defender said he would only do “a good job” if he was allowed to give Allen oral sex. Judge Durham advised him against it. From there on, it only became more insane — at one point Allen tells the judge “suck my d*ck, you f*ckman.” They go back and forth about s*cking d*ck, f*cking boys, murdering families, etc. And ALLLLLL of this took place inside of a real United States courthouse.

Then, a little over two months ago, Adult Swim entertained their San Diego Comic-Con audience with a re-enactment of this very altercation. Rick and Morty voice Justin Roiland read the transcript between Judge Bryant Durham, Jr. of the Superior Court of Floyd County, Georgia, and defendant Denver Fenton Allen. In the time since, Youtuber tiarawhy turned that audio into a sfan animation so impressive that it could pass for a real episode of Rick and Morty.

This is about the third or fourth time I’ve come across this transcript, and it’s funnier every time.

Like all children of the 90s, I was a huge fan of Legends of the Hidden Temple growing up. I would’ve done unforgivable things to throw on an Orange Iguanas T-shirt and win an all expenses paid trip to space camp. It was my all-time favorite Nickelodeon game show, narrowly edging out GUTS and Double Dare.

Because nothing is hotter in the streets these days than 90s nostalgia, Nickelodeon decided to make a Legends of the Hidden Temple TV movie. I would’ve preferred a reboot of the actual show, but I’ll take what I can get. Put on your trusty yellow helmet and check out the newest trailer.

Olmec, temple guards, and Kirk “Motherf**king” Fogg. The whole gang’s back together! Even though it did look super corny, my interest is definitely piqued. Really looking forward to watching this on Thanksgiving in-between football and my fourth and fifth helpings of turkey. I just hope nobody is forced to assemble the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Don’t know if my heart can take watching anymore dumbass kids struggle over that thing. So damn infuriating.

Coincidentally, this “f*ck it, why not?” is probably the exact same thought that went through this University of South Carolina bro who was caught having a full-on quickie during a football tailgate video. Dude is in full bowtie-and-glasses uniform smiling and going to pound town on some floozie who is probably thanking god that she kept her face down from being seen.

This scene is literally un-be-leave-able for me. Is this guy majoring in porn? How the f*ck can he concentrate when there are people literally throwing beers at him. Is she a stripper? Is she a professional? A billion trillion questions right now, not the least of which is whether or not this kid’s family friends are going to see this (they will).

We Have A New South Carolina Tailgating Pound Town Video

Columbus Henderson had himself a less than stellar week. On September 26, the 350-pound man had a pretty fantastic plan to make off with an easy score from a Fort Lauderdale, Florida Walmart, but he was sorely lacking in his execution. He took two 40-inch televisions to the register, had the cashier scan the items, and then in a M. Night Shyamalan-esque twist, he took off without paying for the TVs. So simple, yet so diabolical.

The only thing holding Henderson back from making a clean escape was a poor wardrobe choice. From The Smoking Gun:

As he scooted through the parking lot, the 45-year-old Henderson’s pants “fell off as he ran away,” according to Officer Scott Brandow. It appears that after Henderson’s pants fell to his ankles, he proceeded to run right out of the garment.

Police later determined that Henderson’s abandoned pants contained the suspect’s “medical identification.” Investigators added, “The entire incident was captured on video.”

It took cops about a week to catch up with Henderson, who was nabbed early Tuesday morning for grand theft, a felony.

That wasn’t the end of Henderson’s troubles, though. When he arrived at Pinellas County Jail, Henderson revealed that he had a crack pipe stored up in ass. The pipe was stuffed with Brillo, had burn marks on one end, and probably smelled like pure death. This added a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia to Henderson’s ever-growing rap sheet, which previously included crimes such as aggravated battery, robbery, and theft.

Unable to post the $2,150 bond, Henderson is currently locked up. Even though I’m sure he’s bummed with how everything worked out, I can only imagine the high-level crime capers he’s going to come up with while he’s in the slammer. You give this guy a pair of suspenders and he might become the next Danny Ocean.

As Hurricane Mathew approaches the Swamp, UF officials are not quick enough to close campus. In fact, the school’s mascot should change to freaking sloth. Most universities announced closure, such as UNF and South Carolina but not UF. It wasn’t until 12 PM EST that the university decided to close campus from 3PM till Monday morning. Freshman fell trap to this evil prank by authorities, since they’re the only ones that showed up classes. Museum avenue has more freshman running around like wild toddlers than ever before, it may be slightly larger than the crowd of families and overly protective mommas at Fall Orientation.

As of now, there’s currently no gas in any gas station. Walmart and other grocery stores are out of water, excluding Dasani because no one drinks that, and the Liquor isle’s have been raided by Pike (Pi Kappa Alpha). They literally drove their Hummers to the entrance and stopped traffic. Wind, rain, and pastel colors are the only things visible from the outside. Can’t wait for that hurricane party.
